Posted

Long before the three heroes -Ventus, Aqua, and Terra- set foot in another world, long before even the terror of Master Xehanort could even be prophesied....long ago when Keyblade warriors were many.

They all gathered at The Land of Departure. Here, it was known as the Keyblade academy, where young apprentices seeking the ways of light would find themselves here. And two young teens, both aspiring to be named Master, find themselves here. What adventure awaits?

Just follow the usual Roleplay and Forum rules and such. That is all.

"Please,let go...please." Kassie begged.

She shook her head slowly. "No...more...please..."

Micah looked down. "No." He said finally, "Stay. Just for awhile."

Micah's ears had flicked downward, showing his sadness and distress. He didn't know what to do. He was confused, very confused.

Kassie shook her head. "No,I can't deal with this anymore." She told him.

She turned away. "I'm sorry but, I'm going." With that said she walked off.

Micah looked down.

"Just let her go, Micah." Govan said, "We have pressing matters to attend to."

Micah nodded. He wanted Kassie to be with him..he wanted to trust her. He didn't yet, but he wanted that barrier gone. And now, she was gone as well.

Kassie kept her eyes low to the ground. "Better fix what I let happen. Time to take out a cult."  She took a deep breath.

She kept her head down.  "I have to get his memories back."

Govan opened the door. Micah walked inside into a circular chamber, a plush red carpet paving the way to the wooden-gold throne that sat the king. Large paned windows sat around, filtering a beautiful light onto the polished marble floor. A human, he is was the stereotypical image of a king. Young, only in his thirties, with a thick brown beard. His head rested on a iron gauntlet, a large silver crown resting on his bored head. Beyond the bored expression, he had the eyes of someone who smiled often.

"Ah..I see!" The king said, smiling, "Micah...correct? Govan spoke much of you. You do have the spitting image of you father."

"And...who was my father?"

"An assistant to my late father. He was a proud warrior, in his time."

"And..what happened to him?"

"That, I do not know."

Kassie kept going. She glanced up to see what see thought was a cult member up ahead. "Sir! Sir!" She called out to him.

"Sir!" She called once more.

It was the guard from before--the elf that had originally mentioned for her to join.

"Oh, hey..I remember you! So, still interested in checking us out? Remember, our meeting is tonight. I'll even stand outside the church to help you get there." The elf said, smiling brightly.

"Good timing,I needed your help! It's a good thing you said that, that would be helpful very much. Now,um what time is it?" She asked.

She felt pretty foolish for even having to go,but you need an ax to chop down a tree. The only thing she could do now was look happy to come. She smiled warmly.

The elf smiled, running his hand through his tousled blonde hair.

"At eight. I'll be out by the main arch," He said, nodding to the church, where the largest arched doorway was, "Waiting for yah. Name's Eschido, by the way." He said, "Glad to see you're willing to be a part of our great revival. I'll see yah then." And with that, Eschido took off.

Kassie smiled for real this time. "A few hours to burn."  She said happily.

She grinned."I'll be saving him soon."

"Oh.." Micah murmured. The king grunted, sitting up straight.

"Well, this is a ceremony, for you to receive...his..honors.." The king murmured, stopping for a moment. His other hand clutched a fine grail of wine, which began to shake violently.

The cup clattered to the floor. The king, his mouth moving still, even though no words were uttered.

Within in an instant, the human crumpled to the floor before a shocked Govan, Micah, and group of guards.

The king of Aincrad was dead, by poison.

Kassie sighed. Just then it seemed as if guards swarmed the area. "What's the problem Sir?" She asked one of them.

"Mother, what on Earthali (Earth)is going on!"

The guard glanced at her, "The king is dead."

Micah stepped back. It seemed as if time had slowed to a crawl. The king was on the floor, purple liquid staining his paling his cheeks as the entire room flushed with guards and officials, who swarmed his corpse suddenly.

One man, a tall, lanky elf with a golden circlet, turned to Govan and Micah.

"Your ceremony has been...cancelled."

"Oh Gods,Oh Goddesses!" Kassie shook her head.

"Oh no,Micah!"  She thought!

Micah and Govan were ushered back out into the main hall. It was there, they faced another elf.

Like the last, he was tall and lanky. He wore a green robe and a similar golden circlet, and his piercing blue eyes held a perpetual boredom, as if the universe itself bored him entirely.

"I am Alson. The King's lead advisor and chief assistant. As is our tradition, since our king held no heir, I shall take over the ruling matters." Alson said, glancing at Micah, the elf's eyes flickering with a mix of fear and disgust.

"I must request that you leave...while these matters are solved."

Kassie slowly walked away from the guard. "Helpful, yet saddening." She whispered.

She looked at the sky. "Almost eight." She added that infomation in here brain.

Govan and Micah were escorted out, and soon loitered by the gate.

"Well, what now, kiddo?" Govan asked, glancing to Micah.

"I'm going to find Kassie." Micah replied, patting his back. He looked determined, his dual-colored eyes showing a fiery presence.

"Right, right. Well, be good, kiddo. I'm...gonna head out." Govan replied, standing straight with a huff.

"Wait, you know about that cult, right?"

"Yeah...a little."

"I think Kassie might try to fight them. Can you help me?"

"Sorry, I can't. Even if the cult's a thing...I'm too old and underpowered."

"I'll have to do this." Kassie said.

She looked around. "what now?" She asked herself.

Micah sighed. He needed to find Kassie, ensure she didn't do anything wrath. He couldn't trust her like this; he could tell she was the type to do things rashly and get herself overwhelmed. That though didn't settle well within him.

Running off, he went to search for the elven girl.

Kassie slowly made her way to the church. She didn't want any guards to think she was up to anything. So she walked slowly. She had time to waste anyway. It was starting to get cooler out too,Kassie loved the could. She had ever since she was a child.

Eschido stood on one of the steps, looking around, just like he had said.

He turned, his face turning into a bright smile as he walked to Kassie. "Heya! You ready?"

"Actually yes, very much so." Kassie smiled at Eschido warmly.

"Now,I feel bad." She thought.

Eschido grinned, "Excellent. Follow me."

Micah leaned against a white brick wall, huffing like mad. He had ran a large perimeter around the city, trying to find Kassie.

No luck so far, which only meant one thing was left....

"The church." Micah whispered, looking at the cathedral that pointed up, into the sky.

"Right..." Kassie trailed off.

She smiled weakly, but followed. She couldn't say 'no'.
