Posted

Long before the three heroes -Ventus, Aqua, and Terra- set foot in another world, long before even the terror of Master Xehanort could even be prophesied....long ago when Keyblade warriors were many.

They all gathered at The Land of Departure. Here, it was known as the Keyblade academy, where young apprentices seeking the ways of light would find themselves here. And two young teens, both aspiring to be named Master, find themselves here. What adventure awaits?

Just follow the usual Roleplay and Forum rules and such. That is all.

Cealus smiled. "Uh, yeah...you'd probably beat me, though. I'm not good at all...." He laughed, then sighed, "Heh...heh..." He managed, rubbing the back of his head, while looking extremely awkward.

"I don't know about that. A tie maybe." Jade said and looked at Ceal a grin spreading across her face.

"I think we should spare anyway. If for nothing else then for fun." She said happily.

"And you do need to learn how to not get you butt kicked." She said with a laugh.

"So sparring it is." Cealus said, walking along to the path. He quickly saw the dirt arena area, where some apprentices we're already practicing, sparring, or idly standing about, watching everyone else.

Jade followed behind Ceal the whole way with a wide grin on her face. "It's okay if either one of us gets tired we can stop." She said. The added. And for this time we'll take it nice and slow."

Cealus nodded, approaching a tall man who appeared to be supervising the sparring. "Excuse me.." Cealus said, and the man turned. The man had a sort of grey-brown samurai hair-style, and wore white robes with grey/yellow designs one them.

"Yes?" The man said, and Cealus did an awkward smile. This guy looks like he knows how to fight...

"Uh, me and my friend.." Cealus pointed to Jade, "Would like to spar." The man nodded, pointing to an open area in the arena. "Start when you feel like it. This whole area's got a healing enchantment on it. Don't worry about hurting one another." Cealus nodded, said his thanks, and walked back to Jade.

"The supervisor guy said we can spar over there."

"Uh,okay." Jade said starting to get a bit nervous. She felt like butterflies were flying around her stomach. She sighed.

"I haven't really hung out with kids my age since I started coming here."She looked at Ceal.

"I don't remember if I asked, but how old are you even?" She asked.

Cealus began to get nervous himself, but still responded easily, "I'm sixteen." He nervously walked over to their designated sparring area, summoning his Keyblade. He held it before it, gazing at it.

I've never gotten a good look at this thing......it looks magnificent, yet it doesn't have a name... Cealus began to think on this, then finally whispered:

"Redemption." That word increased the amount of 'butterflies' in his stomach, and he felt a wave of nostalgia. He smiled.

"I couldn't hear that." Jade sighed and walked over to where Ceal was and summoned her own Key-Blade.

"Ah~ I feels like I haven't used my Key-Blade in forever. Now what was it you whispered. It was a word right, oh I know finally got around to naming your Key-Blade." She said smiling.

"Uh, well...uh...yeah." Cealus said, pretending to be dejected. "Anyways, let's start this! I want to get as good as possible for when that one kid comes back. I don't care about his plan, I just want to smack his smug face..."

Cealus got into a ready stance, in a manner similar to how Riku would wield his own Keyblade.

"Just say when you're ready."

Jade laughed a bit and got into a grading like stance. "As ready as I'll ever be." She said with a cat like smile on her face. Then she quickly spun her Key-Blade to face down.

"Alright then!" Cealus charged at Jade, stopped, side-stepped, and swung as hard as he could, hoping to catch her off-guard with his illogical movement patterns. I best to take up a good strategy...just be as random as possible.....maybe even throw in some logical stuff just for even better confusion.

Jade sighed and jumped. "You really have to be much quicker on your feet." She quickly ran behind him. "Areo!" She cried casting it around herself and then"Blizzardra!" She cried after knowing she couldn't miss from where she was standing.

Cealus let the Aero hit him, using the whirlwind whip him around. "Firaga Burst!" He called out, and as he was whipped around, fireballs were thrown about, several hitting the shard of ice, and many heading in Jade's direction. As the Aero died down, Cealus quickly leapt down to the ground, getting his mind ready, as the movement he just experienced made him dizzy. He gasped for air, soon managing to return to a semi-normal state of mind.

Jade sighed and left the fireballs hit. "Okay what was that almost pass out thing you did there right after useing a Friega? huh?" Jade asked. "By the way I let you hit." She added after the thought.

"It's called getting used to a Keyblade!" He called back, readying again, "Besides, this time I really feel fired up!" He yelled, leaping up into the air, he slashed wildly, deliberately missing each hit. After his final one, he began to fall. "Zero Gravity!" He called, beginning to use magic he didn't even realize he could do.

Alright...there's something more than just feeling 'fired up' I feel as if the Keyblade itself is guiding me... He thought, feeling the affects of no gravity. "Sonic Blade!" He cried, using the absence of gravity and inertia to thrust his Keyblade at ludicrous speeds, this time aiming for Jade.

Jade jumped back once more."Well, nice try." She teased. "Areo!" She cried this time casting it around herself and then "Friega ring!" She also casted this around herself giving her time to think.

As the Zero Gravity spell dispersed, Cealus slowly floated down to the ground. "Tornado!" He cried out, letting his Keyblade guide him into the correct spells and motions. The furious whirlwind blasted into existence, engulfing Jade's fireball ring, soon ridding the flame's ability to feed on air, and they were quickly overpowered and devoured by the raging wind.

By this time, several Apprentices had gathered, coming to watch a sparring match that seemed a lot more interesting than a few swordsman sharing blows.

"Timestorm!" Cealus called out, blasting forward at a speed that made him seemingly surpass time itself, though again, his intention was not to attack Jade, as he used the spell's Time ability to disappear.

"Ceal, come on fight fair! Being invisible is for wimps! If that's how you want to play it I can go there too!" Jade said starting to get angry. "Darkness behold:Light's Trinity!" She cried and three beams of light sprung forth from the ground and started to circle about the area. "If I can't see you I can't still hear you." Jade said smirking.

"Thing is, going faster than time itself makes no noise, no sound, no disturbances." Cealus replied, reappearing near Jade. He swung, this time actually aiming for her. "Firestorm!" He called, summoning flames to his Blade, essentially turning his metal weapon into a flaming hell-storm.

Jade ducked and at the same jumped away. "What your not thinking of is if you were hit with that much Light you'd scream and if not it would stun you." Jade said landing back on her feet.

Cealus didn't pay attention to what Jade was saying, he was concentrated on letting his weapon guide him through motions, using spells and abilities that he didn't even realize were possible. With his blade still flaming, he shot forward, giving the appearance of a falling star.

He smiled, "Yeah yeah!" He said, feeling the energy course through him.

Jade sighed. "Clam, down Ceal. It's only a spare, don't a death match. Save it for white hair." She said making she to keep her wits about her. She sighed and cast stopaga.

Cealus, not seeing this, was quickly hit by the Stop spell, frozen in mid-air. Whelp, he thought, there I go. I'm screwed over. Dang it, I was getting into it too! I wasn't trying to actually hurt her, I was testing out what moves I can do.

Cealus mentally sighed, bracing himself for pain, and then realized about the enchantment. Great, so no pain. Just humiliation.

Cealus concentrated, trying his best to dissolve the spell as quickly as possible.

"I really didn't want to do it,but to go on like this any longer would most likely be harmful for your body, but good job anyway. The spell should ware off in about 30 seconds." Jade said.

Cealus mentally sighed again. He waited for the spell to disperse, and soon enough he was back on his feet, able to move again. This time, Cealus physically sighed,

"Dang it.." He muttered, "I still couldn't manage it." He began to get very down, cursing himself for getting way to ahead of himself. By now, all of the people that had crowded around were gone, no longer interested in the sparring match.
