Jade locked her door."It really isn't that bad. It's a more in depth plan." She said sighing as it indeed wasn't as bad as last night. "Okay, here's the thing,I don't think you going alone is such a great plan." She looked at the floor trying to find something.

Cealus nodded, "Though going alone can make this trickery seem all the more truthful, seeing as going with anyone else could lead to slight suspicion." Cealus sighed, and looked at Jade, "But go on, I bet you're plan is still going to be good enough."

Jade looked away blushing. "I'm sorry, maybe your right. I just scared..." She kept looking at the floor. "I'm sorry...if you want to go alone. Do it." She sits on the floor and looks at something that seems to be on the floor.

"H-Hey!" Cealus said, standing up, "Hey, don't feel so down. I still want to hear your plan. I might even like it enough to go with it. So let's give it a shot, okay? It's not liek we have anything to lose." Cealus said cheerfully, trying to sound as upbeat and inspiring as possible.

Jade sighed."Well, I was thinking. You need to gain his trust before you join him...that's my thought. So, you have to do something to show him, you have to 'kill' me before and in front of as many people as you can." She said.

Cealus' eyes widened, "That would most certainly do it....but, I can't do that, even if I'm faking!" Cealus sighed, sitting back down on Jade's bed. "I'll...think about it. But for now, I'm gonna go train." Cealus gave a slight smile, and walked over to Jade's door. He attempted to open it, and realized it was still locked.

"Uh...could you...unlock it...please?"

Jade gave a weak smile and got up. "Sure thing." She unlocked the door for him a went over to her bed. "Have fun~" She said giving a weak smile. She then layed on her bed."Close the door on your way out."She added.

"Yeah yeah..." Cealus said, closing the door as Jade requested. Cealus quietly walked out of the dorm room, hands in his pocket. He hummed a small tune, walking slowly but surely over to the training area. He looked around for the supervising Master, but found no one. An older apprentice approached him, though.

"You lookin' for some one?" The apprentice asked.

"Yeah, where's the Master that supervises?" Cealus replied.

"Gone with the others, Master Varius is holding some big meeting or whatever."

Cealus nodded. "Uh, is there something I can train one?" The apprentice pointed to a row of metallic dummies. "All we got left are the automatons. Be careful, they're trained to really test you."

Cealus nodded his thanks, walking over to the nearest one. He flicked an on switch, and the machine quickly came to life.

Jade sighed laying on the bed and looked over to her painting."Maybe when this is done I can finish my painting?"She said and yawned ready to take a nap. Though instead kept her eyes open.

The machine unsheathed a bronze blade that matched the metal it was made out of, and swept at Cealus, barely giving him time to react. Cealus summoned his Keyblade, and exchanged blows with the automaton.

The automaton, for a machine, was much more experienced, and like the fight with Jade, Cealus quickly found himself to be on the losing side. The machine threw it's fist forward, knocking Cealus back. Cealus rose in a coughing fit.

Dammit... He thought, I'm not losing...not again...not now! Like last time, his blade seemingly spoke to him. Cealus charged forward, but as the machine went for a swipe, Cealus did a nimble sidestep.

"Enough of this!" Cealus yelled, thrusting his Keyblade forward, and impaling the poor automaton into the wall.

Jade sat up and let herself zone out for awhile. She gave a yawn even though she wasn't that tried and looked out her window. She smiled at the view. "It's pretty even in the day time." She said with a smile.

Cealus huffed and puffed. He had attracted more attention than he had intended, as the lead apprentice walked up to him. Cealus, fearing the worst, did not expect what the apprentice did. He clapped.

"Not bad, man. Not many of us could pull that off." The apprentice said with a smile, after that, the crowd dispersed.

I know I can do this. I'll continue training throughout today. With that set in mind, Cealus turned to the next three automatons.

"You're next." He muttered.

Jade smiled to herself and spent the rest of the day like that just lazily sitting on her bed watching the day go by and thinking. Doing lot's of thinking. Some about herself, though mainly about Ceal and her plan.

Hours later, Cealus was sitting down, resting against a wall. All of the automaton's were defeated, and Cealus was out of breath.

I did it....I beat them all....I might have went a bit too far, but at least....I got some experience from it. After a moment, he grunted, picking himself up.

"Better go see how Jade's doing." He muttered, letting his Keyblade disappear as he walked off.

She gave a sigh before getting up. "I bet Ceal's bored." She looked around her room. "Even I can't train that long!" She exclaimed and walked over to the door. "If not maybe I can see Forin." She gave a weak smile at that.

After trudging back in a sweaty, exhausted state, Cealus nearly fell forward as he entered the dorms.

"You've got to be kidding me..." He muttered, having to go up three flights of stairs to get to his room. He sighed, beginning the long climb up.

Jade opened her door and saw Ceal coming into the hall. "Ceal!" She called and ran to greet him. "Ceal." She said and kind of ran into him him knocking hi down the steps.

"J-Jade!" Cealus exclaimed, not ready for the full force of one Jade hitting him full force. His next exclamation was more or less:

"bfyrbfubre!" As he fell down the steps. "Urgh, Hi...Jade!"

"Oh."She backed away and looked at her door shyly.

"I'm sorry." She said feeling bad for being such a dope.

Cealus got up, rubbing the back of his head. "N-no...it's fine. I just got surprised...well...very surprised." He shrugged, smiling.

"I did a lot of training...I think I might have done a bit too much..." Cealus sighed.

It is nearing dusk. The Qualia thought with a smile. Around him, were anxious 'warriors' ready to fight. Yet many of them were no longer warriors, many had succumbed to the same darkness Nalicus came under the spell of. Many of them, were demonic half-human beasts, yet none of the other apprenctices noticed. To the Qualia, it did not matter.

"Soon...the first piece will be mine." He said, licking his lips.

"Yeah. So did you think about that little 'thing? About 'killing' me?" Jade asked and offered a hand. She gave a weak smile.

"It's your choice." She said and looked him in the eye.

"I-if...the need arises....I'll do it...but I won't like it. Let's hope the Qualia is as stupid as he is short." Calus said with a laugh, trying to poke fun into an otherwise serious conversation. "But in all seriousness.....I've got something planned for the Qualia...I don't want to do it....but it's something I feel will defeat him. Hopefully."

"I hope you right." Jade said and sighed. "Now get up your fool. It's getting late and time for good little girls and boys to go to bed." She gave a laugh. "So,Let's get to it." She said.

Cealus looked out a window. "I've been training for that long?!" It was nearly dusk. Cealus sighed at that, "I missed lunch..." He grumbled some more things, yet something immediately kept him on edge. It was that 'calm before the storm' feeling, as if something was about to get horribly, horribly wrong very quickly.

~

Boom. The Qualia thought, his smile reaching maddening levels. It was now dusk, he raised his palm, and his assault force roared. He flicked his hand, and a dark portal opened.

"My Corridor of Darkness!" The Qualia yelled, "Today, shall ignite the first battle of the Keyblade War!" With that, the small army charged in through the portal, heading for the Land of Beginnings. The Qualia turned to Nalicus. "Sorry, Nalicus, but I don't need you anymore." Before Nalicus could register that, the a long, demonic talon ripped through him.

"Gotta tie up my loose ends." The Qualia muttered, entering the corridor.

Jade looked at Ceal and felt her face pale. "I think a lot of noise outside." She said worried. "Ceal. I think we should move now!" She shouted. "I think we should try to go outside." She said and gave him a weak smile.
