Posted

Long before the three heroes -Ventus, Aqua, and Terra- set foot in another world, long before even the terror of Master Xehanort could even be prophesied....long ago when Keyblade warriors were many.

They all gathered at The Land of Departure. Here, it was known as the Keyblade academy, where young apprentices seeking the ways of light would find themselves here. And two young teens, both aspiring to be named Master, find themselves here. What adventure awaits?

She was surpised to see some stange looking cats. "What!" She exclamed before one attacked her.

"Lightingga!" She screamed after summoning her Key-blade.

Cealus leapt backwards as one of the two-legged cat-things got larger, somehow changing it's color to red. Several of them did this, and Cealus was backed into a corner. He looked at them all, wondering what kind of creatures they were.

They can't be Heartless...they look too different...what are they?? He thought, bracing as one of the cats attempted a head-butt.

Jade was surpised at how fast these enemy's respawned this time taking the form of some weird hamsters."Gawwwwwwhhhh!" She cried as one of the enemy's hit her in the torso.

The creature fell backwards, dazed by my block. Cealus raised my weapon into the air, and it sparked with electricity.

"Thundaga!" Cealus yelled, and a massive bolt shot into the sky, raining down upon the monsters. Several exploded just like a Heartless, and the others collapsed to the ground, injured, but not defeated.

"You're next." Cealus muttered menacingly, his blade charging with lightning.

This made Jade angry."You'll pay!" She cried and sent fire-balls at all but the one that hit her.

"You and me,freind." She grolwed at the one remaining one.

"That's that." Cealus muttered, leaning against a wall. His Keyblade fell out of his hand, clanking to the ground. Cealus was covered in sweat, not used to an 'intense' battle like that. He sat down, gasping for air.

"I see...so this is the training Yen-Sid spoke of. But why here...or even better...where is here?"

She took her Key-Blade and sliced the thing in half. No more seemed to be coming so Jade de-summoned her Key-Blade. "I'm glad that's over." She nearly shouted this but stopped herself at the last second instead saying it quitely.

Cealus walked around the area, soon walking in to another portion of the town. He walked into an alleyway, and sighed as he walked. Cealus turned left, coming into another open area. It was rectangular, with a few oddly disjointed street lights. To his right, was what appeared to be a cathedral, or some other large building. Cealus looked to his left, seeing as sign. The sign said: 'Traverse Town.'

"Traverse Town..?" Cealus whispered, "So....where Jade lived most of her life..."

Jade promped herself to keep going. "If I go out these large wooden doors I'll be somewhere I know very well." She thought to herself.

She pushed the large door to she it looked slighly different. "Oh!" She gasped.

Cealus walked around this area, gazing at the tall buildings. He sighed, reaching a large black-iron structure. It faced a wall, and beneath it was a fountain. Cealus gazed at it, then looked around.

"I like the theme that's going on here." He muttered, nodding to himself. "But where's Jade?"

"Looking for someone?" A young voice said, and Cealus turned. Before him, stood a casually dressed boy about Cealus's age. The boy's hair was curly, long, and blonde.

"Gyah!" Cealus exclaimed, "W-who are you?"

"It...different..."Jade whispered.

She looked around."It's empty here to?" She asked herself.

"You can call me Joshua." The boy replied, walking up to Cealus. Cealus, was very surprised to see anyone else -besides Jade- in the town.

"Well, uh...hi, Joshua." Cealus stammered, and Joshua smirked. "Awkward, are you? Well, I'll tell you I'm not the hurting type."

Cealus nodded, still a bit suspicious of this person.

Jade shook her head and headed over to a new door."Hrm..?"She asked confused.

She pushed the door open."Er...."She said looking at this new area.

Joshua circled Cealus, smiling.

"I see you're another Keyblade weilder. Seems we've gotten a lot, lately." Joshua remarked, gazing at Cealus.

"...How'd did you guess that..?" Cealus asked, and Joshua shook his head, "I'm smart like that. But I also know you have tow other questions. One, you are in the Dream World, in a version of Traverse Town. Two, you're friend is in a similar version. You're seperated, yet still together. How's that for 'cool'?"

"...Wow..." Cealus muttered, somehow Joshua landed the questions perfectly.

"Okay....so when they do this?" Jade asked to no one.

She looked at the area."It's a nice touch." She said.

"Is anyone else here?" Cealus asked, watching as Joshua did one more lap, before stopping.

"Well...yes and no. Yes, as in there are people here. And no, because they're not really here. It's like me. I'm here...yet I'm also in the other Traverse Town. There is a link between these realities, making existence hard to judge." Joshua replied with intelligence, and Cealus nodded.

"Then I'm gonna find this link, bust any monsters along the way, and finish this test!" Cealus announced, and Joshua smiled.

Jade sighed getting lost in this rather large area pretty fast. "UGH!" She cried!

She felt like she was about to cry as she re-called the words someone said to her."It's a world for the lost." She wipped her eyes.

Joshua shook his head, "No use. Two others tried and failed. They were connected via their hearts. Think, if this is a 'test' maybe it is not only testing you're strength, but the bonds you share with others?" Cealus stared at Joshua, nodding. "Then I'll pray that both Jade an I see this through." Cealus announced, and Joshua smiled.

"But uh, Joshua...just...who are you?" Cealus asked, and Joshua laughed, "Oh, some one. But I'm gonna check on the 'other' reality now. Good luck to you, Cealus."

With that, Joshua suddenly disappeared.

Jade shook the feeling off. "Cr-azy."She muttered and kept trying to figure out where she was at.

"It's just stange..." She whispered.

Cealus watched as Joshua vanished, and soon began to rub his temples.

"Dang it...I must be losing it...I gotta keep going though. I have to get stronger, no matter what!" Cealus said defiantly, running up some steps, soon bursting into the area he first appeared in.

"Alright...let's see who else is hiding here.." Cealus muttered, running around.

Jade sigh just at a loss of what was going on. A bunch of memories show up in her mind all at once. Like flash, flash, flash. She feels her head pounding. "Awgh!" She cries out in pain.

Cealus continued walking around, having found no one. He walked into a longer alleyway- though it just appeared to be a path that wasn't very wide. He passed under several archways, and heard the sound of falling water.

"For a place Jade didn't seem to like all too much, this place is actually quite nice." Cealus commented, unaware he was talking to himself.

Jade gets a hold of herself. "No...I won't let this place get.to.me!" She thought to herself rather harshly."Huh?" She said and turned around.

"I could have sworen..."She muttered.

Cealus's walk went on without any problem, until once again he heard the distinctive sound of monsters appearing. He turned behind him, and sure enough- several fat dog-like creatures, a few of the cat things, and another bear appeared. Cealus readied his blade, sighing.

"Come on now, you guys are even more persistent then the Heartless were!" Cealus exclaimed, rushing the monsters.

Jade sighed and looked about the area one more time. "No one is here." She said slowly.

She sighed."It's getting bad..." She said.
