"It really is nothing." Cealus said. He wasn't an all too good liar, but he didn't want to annoy Jade any more than she already has. He sighed, "I just...lost it for a moment. Everyone was so tense...I just... gah.." Cealus mumbled, and then Mickey sighed.

"Well, perhaps we should uh, adjourn the meeting for now? Give everyone time to rest?" Mickey asked, and everyone nodded, quickly leaving the area.

Jade sat next to Ceal."I'm sorry." She whispered next to him.

She leaned her head on him."I'm scared for you." She said.

Cealus watched as everyone left, and he turned to look at Jade, "I'm sorry. It's my fault." He murmured, sighing. He felt better, glad to see the tension had cleared up.

"I really am...I'm never emotional like that." He said, his grey eyes filled with tinges of sorrow, "But, if somethings happens, Jade...to me..I want you to know I do in fact love you." Cealus's face became stern, "And I mean it."

"No..please don't give up." Jade whispered.

She heard her voice crack and she sighed. "Please I don't want anyone else I love to die." She said slowly.

"I'm not saying I'm going to die. I don't want to die." Cealus whispered to Jade, closing his eyes as he shuddered. "I'm not going to die." Cealus confirmed, feeling his confidence rising, "I won't. I promise you, Jade...if I ever leave...or disappear...or get lost, I'll find you, alright? That's my oath."

Cealus looked to Jade, his ever cocky smile springing to life.

Jade's face turned beat red and before he could stop her she pressed her lips to his. She slowly wrapped her arms around him. "I promise the same back to you." She said still blushing.

Cealus didn't expect the kiss, tensing up for a moment. He soon relaxed, doing a mental sigh.

Just keep calm, Cealus. Sure, this is a kiss...with an actual girl...but keep calm! He thought to himself, actually managing to do so.

At one point, Lea walked up to Cealus and Jade, "Hey, we're bringing in food from Twilight Town...we wanted to know if you..." He said, but soon trailed off. "Oh...um, when you're ready...ah, meet us over by the...gah, uh, tree house thing." With that, Lea walked away.

Jade looked away with tears in her eyes. "You hate me now, dont you?" She asked and looked at the sand.

She move away from him and her arms limp. "...Ceal you can go if you want. I suddenly can't look at food." She hung her head more so.

Cealu's face became confused, "Hate you? Why would I do that?! Sure, Lea appeared for no reason, but I can't hate you just because he happened to walk in on us, uh, kissing!" Cealus protested, his face a light red asw he attempted to make Jade feel better.

"I wouldn't hate you like that, Jade." Cealus whispered.

Jade smiled softly and looked at Ceal. "I'm sorry..." She whispered slowly.

"I just feel a little tired I think." She said.

Cealus nodded, "Hey, it's fine."

He did his trademark smile, getting up from the ground, "Does food sound any good to you? It might give you some energy back...we should probably go anyways... Lea probably told everyone that we were..uh...kissing...by now."

Jade's quickly went red. "Yeah let's hurry,it's too weird to let him do that." She said and got up.

She smiled."Let's just hurry." She said and walked her way over to Ceal.

Cealus nodded, and turned to face the tree fort.

"Alright, Lea said that they're over at the fort or whatever." Cealus said, beginning to wade through the sand as he walked around. "Grr...I like this place and all...but there's so much sand!" Cealus exclaimed, nearly falling over from the thick sand.

Jade followed him. "I think I'm getting used to it." She said and patted Ceal's back.

"At least this is almost over and we can go home soon." She was starting to feel better again.

Cealus nodded once, "Yeah. We simply defeat Xehanort...and somehow trivk him into sending us back. There...I guess we just live our lives." Cealus said, "At least, I'm pinning my hopes that it will be that simple."

I hope. He then thought, knowing full well that Xehanort would be strogner than the Qualia. Even if Cealus wasn't going to be fighting him, he got the feeling his soon-to-be-enemy would also be a tough opponent.

"There it is." Cealus said, gesturing to the group before them.

Jade nodded."Yeah." She laughed.

"I kind of feel better now." She said gleefully.

Cealus smiled at Jade's words, "Good!" He exclaimed, walking ahead towards the others. Lea appeared ready to say something, but noticed Jade and Cealus, and stopped himself.

"Ah, there you are." Aqua said, walking up to them, "Kairi went ahead and helped get us some food from some worlds." Aqua said, motioning to the small table before them.

"So Kairi is the red-head then." Jade stated.

She laughed."Is she a talker?" She asked.

  • Author

Aqua shook her head, "Not all too much." She said, looking to Kairi, who did appear to be speaking to Sora. Aqua smiled at that, looking back at Cealus and Jade. "She's shy, I guess." Aqua said, walking back to Ventus.

"Well then." Cealus replied, looking to the table of food. "I'm starving." He smiled soon after, turning to Jade.

"Nah,like I said I've been feeling sick." Jade said.

She gave a small laugh. "You can eat,I'll be fine." She smiled.

  • Author

"Meh, if you say so." Cealus replied, walking forward. The food itself wasn't much, but that didn't mean Cealus wasn't starving; so he picked up the most prominent thing -a bar of sea-salt ice-cream- and began to nibble a bit. The others gathered there did so too, or at least grabbed for something else.

At that, the others gathered into small groups; chatting about who knows what, and it left Cealus, Ventus, and Kairi standing around the table.

Jade smiled and sighed. "I think that this is going to go well."

She yawns and lays on the sand."I'll just take a quick little rest."

Cealus looked to Jade, a small smile coming as he watched her lay in the sand. Ventus patted Cealus's shoulder, "Lea already told us what happened when he saw you guys." Ventus said, and Cealus groaned.

Dangit. He thought, seeing that everyone knew. Truly, Cealus didn't mind that people knew he liked Jade, but he felt it invaded his privacy.

"Ah." Cealus replied, nibbling at his ice cream bar.

Jade quickly fell asleep and started to dream. In her dream, which for some reason never changed much. She was having a normal day. Then as the dream always did it turned much more darker.

Kairi, at that point, walked over and knelt beside Jade. She touched her forehead, and sighed, "She's having a bad dream." She whispered, and turned to Cealus. "Sora went through a bad dream once. But Riku saved him." Kairi said, standing up and walking up to Cealus.

"You should be Jade's Riku too."

Cealus rubbed his black hair, "Eh...well, I'm not very strong."

Kairi shook her head, "As long as your Heart, and Jade's heart are strong, you'll do well."
