Echo: why is it that when we always try to team up together Trace is always late.

 

Trace: what do you mean late? Ive been behind you for the past hour.

 

Echo: what! Xio did you know about this?!

 

Xio: um yeah kinda i thought you knew being a vampire after all.

 

Echo: shut up im an Arcane Vampire! I sap energy from the land around me!

 

Xio: riigghhttt

Trace: i dont beleive you!

 

Echo: then where is Shade and Archer!

 

Trace and Xio: Shut Up! They're Coming!

 

Echo: im just saying

 

*Xio backhands Echo*

 

Echo: the hell was that for!

 

Xio: for Being an annoying little B****

 

Trace: Ha!

Shade: god damnit archer! You got us lost again!

 

Archer: me! Your the one who suggested we go through the forest maze saying and i quote "i know this place like the back of my hand"

 

Shade: no i said i know the Great Tower like the back of my hand or my name isnt shade

 

Archer: im gonna stab you with this arrow

 

Shade: and ill drag you down to hell.

 

Archer: ok this is getting no where lets just get out of here so we can join up with the others.

 

Shade: fine.

 

*Archer and Shade soon found their way out and met up with Xio, Echo, and Trace*

Shade: we have returned.

 

Archer: what he said.

 

Echo: so did you guys get the mission?

 

*Xio backhands Echo*

 

Echo: what was that for!

 

Xio: you just so slapable

 

Echo: screw you you friggin furry!

 

*Sets echo on fire*

 

Echo: ahhhhh my weakness!

 

Xio: i will tie you to a chair next time and set you ablaze if you defy me again.

 

Echo: your a tyrant!

 

*he points at Xio*

 

Xio: and you a vampire whose pride was taken away when twilight became a movie

 

*Echo sits in corner*

 

Echo: your right im a failure TT.TT

 

Archer: anyway our mission is an A rank mission. 

 

Echo: An A rank mission! Why!

 

Archer: because we like to see you suffer now shut up Echo. Anyway the mission is call Earth, Fire, and Water. In this mission we will split up into teams and go to the Burning Crater, Lake of Mist, and the Desert Plateau. In each area there is a serpent like statue eaxh with a gem in it. We must obtain the gems and bring them together under the moonlit sky. 

 

Xio: is that it?

 

Archer: yes.

 

Shade: alright i want to get this mission over with so lets get right on it.

 

Xio: Echo and I will head to the desert plateau. 

 

Echo: but why! 

 

*Xio backhands Echo*

 

Xio: you dare defy the game prince!

 

Echo: but.....

 

Xio: bow down to me!

 

Trace: ill go to the lake of mist.....

 

Shade: but that means!.

 

Archer: damn im stuck with you....

 

Xio: alright then lets head out!

 

All: Right!

 

*our heros then set off our their seperate missions unaware of their movements being watched by an unknown being*

Chapter 1: Out of the Fire and into the Flame

Part 2

Archer: There it is the burining crater!

 

Shade: tell me again why I am stuck with you?

 

Archer: because Echo and Xio went to the Desert Plateau to find the Earth Gem and Trace went alone to the Lake of mist to find the water gem. So i got stuck with you...... Again.

 

Shade: lets just get this over with.

 

Archer: agreed

 

*the two allies then slowly made their way to the top of the crater where the treatcherous pool of fire awaited them.*

 

Shade: ok now where is this statue?

 

Archer: im guessing its there!

 

* archer had pointed down towards the center of the crater where a pillar stood with many smaller pillars around it. Atop the center pillar was a lard serpentine statue. And below all of it was a pool of magma slowly rising.*

 

Archer: Thats it..... Man this is too easy.

 

*Archer jumped down onto a small pillar*

 

Archer: come on shade! 

 

Shade: i think ill wait up here

 

Archer: what are you chiken?

 

Shade: no i just...... Dont like heights

 

Archer: Wuss

 

Shade: grrrrr says the one who cried as he was dragged into the chamber of spiders.

 

Archer: get down here so i can kick your ass!

 

Shade: with pleasure! 

 

* shade then jumped down and landed on an edge with a cavern behind him.* 

 

Shade: just hurry and get the gem!

 

Archer: fine!

 

*archer walked towards the statue when suddenly*

 

Shade: Archer!

 

*Archer turned to see shade on a small platform as lava poured out of the cave like a water fall into the magma. And the the magma rose. Shade jumped onto the same platform as Archer just as the statue ented the ground*

 

Shade: what did that old geezer say about this?

 

Archer: absolutely nothing.

 

???: RRRAAAGGGGHHHH!!!

 

Archer: the hell!

 

Shade: were in trouble!

 

* The two went back to back at the center of the platform as lava surrounded the edge of the platforms*

 

???: FOR THOSE WHO SEEK THE POWER OF FIRE, OVERCOME YOUR OBSTICALS BY SETTING YOUR GOALS HIGHER!

 

Archer: the heck does that mean!

 

Shade: i think were about to find out.

Xio

The Leader

Age 18

He wears a red trench coat with white fur at the collar and the bottom. he also wears a grey shirt under it. And white pants. His hair is red and spikey and he has black marking under his eyes. He has red dog ears and a dog tail.

 

His skill is fire and can use it at will

 

Xio is a tyrant to Echo and only Echo.

 

His special attacks are Born of Fire, Burning Furnace, Flame Impact, Pyro Dart, and Dark Whirlwind.

Echo

The Tactition

Age 16

He wears a white cloak that covers his entire body. His hair is white and tuffed up like ears.

 

His skill is arcane which saps power from the area around him and uses it in his attacks.

 

He is Xio's B****

 

His special attacks are Imperal Rain, Arcane Meteor, Soul Crash, Parasetic Assult, and Line Wave.

Trace

The Blader

Age 17

He wears a black sleevless shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes, his hair is spikey and blond, and he carries around a giant claymore that is as big as himself.

 

His skill is wind and he can swing his sword around with only one hand.

 

His special attacks are Great Storm, Rising Dragon, Hurricane Fury, Electric Burst, and Royal Metal

Shade

The spell caster

Age 15

 

He wears a black cloak over his black clothes with a skull pin holding the cloak on. His hair is black and cover one of his eyes.

 

He uses dark magic to finish off his foes

 

His special attacks are Nightmare Slash, Bloody Flurry, Black Marionette, Sheer Darkness, Fear of the Night, and Maximun Shadow

Archer

The archery elf

Age 16

 

He wears green clothes that match the colors of the forest, his clothing is kinda baggy. He carries a long bow made of black iron.  His quiver contains all aorts of arrows and lies on his bum. He has long blonde hair.

 

He and shade are best friends but are also the greatest of rivals.

 

His speacial attacks are Rail Line, Yunira Barrage, Storm Caprica, Heavy Slam, Autumn's Fury, and Leaf Blizzard.

Ch.1: The Ocean of Sand

Part 3

 

----------------

 

*Echo and Xio stood at the edge of the Desert Plateau Pit... Within the pit remained an ocean of sand.*

 

Echo: so the statue is somewhere within this massive sandbox?

 

Xio: thats what Archer told us.

 

Echo: we will never find that statue! Its gonna take forever!

 

Xio: well then lets get started glitter boy

 

Echo: stop making twilight references! Im not one of those vampires!

 

Xio: tyen where are you holding An umbrella?

 

Echo: because i dont like sunligbt.

 

Xio: you look like a total wuss...

 

Echo: but....

 

Xio: you dare question my judgement!

 

Echo: no......

 

Xio: lets get going then..

 

* the two then began their trek down the plateau and into the sand to find the statue *

 

Echo: hey Xio

 

Xio: what is it? 

 

Echo: Arent you hot in your jacket?

 

Xio: not at all my attribute is fire so i can take the heat

 

Echo: but your panting

 

Xio: no im not.

 

Echo: ok then.....

 

*echo walked ahead of xio. Then xio began to pant. A few hours after they had covered all of the outer rim of the desert pit and began to walk towards the center*

 

Echo: hey Xio

 

Xio: what is it now?

 

Echo: why do you have dog ears and a tail?

 

Xio: because shut the hell up.

 

Echo: im just asking a ques.....

 

Xio: i dont care.

 

Echo: dont you like talking to others?

 

Xio: dont you ever shut the hell up?

 

Echo: ya know you could just be nice about things sometimes.

 

Xio: and that helps me take charge how?

 

Echo: i dont know im just saying.

 

*Xio's ears perked up*

 

Xio: I hear the sound of rushing water up ahead. 

 

Echo: but there isnt any water source for miles!

 

Xio: self correction its not water its sand.

 

Echo: Sand? 

 

Xio: yes.

 

*Xio and Echo walked up one dune and found the source of the sound. A massiclve whirlpool of sand engulfed the area infront of them. In the center a pillar stood out of a pit that the sand was falling into at the center. *

 

Xio: there on that pillar! 

 

Echo: the statue!

 

*a giant serpentine statue wit a green gem in its mouth stood atop the pillar* 

 

Xio: but how to reach it?

 

Echo: your right its almost impossible.

 

Xio: wait cant you fly?

 

Echo: IM NOT FROM TWILIGHT!

 

Xio: then your useless to me!

 

Echo: your a tyrant!

Ch.1: The Shadow in the Mist

Part 4

 

*Trace, the lone wolf of our heroes, had arrived at the lake of mist*

 

Trace: i cant see anything through this fog, but i shouldnt have expected as much its name is the lake of mist

 

* he then began to walk around the lake and a few hours later came to where he began. *

 

Trace: nothing and i search around the entire lake and nothing.

 

*Trace then looked towards the water and his eyes widened. he then began to slowly walk towards the motionless water*

 

Trace: almost the perfect defence

 

*He neared the water* 

 

Trace: It almost fooled me but i guess im the first to discover the mystery of this lake. 

 

* he stopped at the waters edge and drew his claymore from the massive sheeth on his back.  he then began to lower it into the water. And the blade stopped when the tip of the sword touched the top of the water. Trace smiled *

 

Trace: An illusion.

 

*he then took a step and found the water to acctually be solid. He gan to walk towards the center of the frozen lake.*

 

Trace: there must be a hot spring under the ice to cause all this steam. Impressive

 

*he began to see a cave through the mist*

 

Trace: bingo.

 

*trace then walked into the cave to find skeletons*

 

Trace: it seems im not the first to find this cave. These warriors werent so lucky.

 

*trace then walked further into the cave. When he reached the end of it he found a giant cavern filled wit many pools of water. Lights eminated from the pools illuminating the cavern. In the middle was a statue of a serpent wrapped around a gem.*

 

Trace: found it 

 

*Trace ran towards the statue but suddenly water was poured out of a small tunnel to the right of Trace and the statue went into the earth.*

 

Trace: what!

 

???: For those who seek the power of water, prevent the darkness from creating a mass slaughter

 

Trace: where are you!

 

???: everywhere and yet nowhere.

 

Trace: show yourself!

 

???: very well young traveler! Behold my true form!

 

*suddenly the water that came out of the tunnel began to rise and took a serpent like shape then two red light appeared at the sides to the head. Trace took a step back as he grabbed the hand of his claymore*

 

Trace: who are you?

 

???: i am Hydros, guardian of the gem of water!

 

Trace : i am Trace, swordsmen of the wind! I have come here for the Gem of Water!

 

Hydros: very well Trace, Swordsman of the Wind, if you want the gem of water you must defeat me in the heat of battle! The result is self explanitory. Do you accept to these terms?

 

Trace: yes i accept

 

*Trace drew his sword*

 

Hydros: then let us begin!

 

*the water creature roared before it rushed towards Trace. Trace yelled as he ran towards the water creature with his claymore in hand.*

Ch.1: Living in the Fire

Part 5

 

--------------------

 

*meanwhile back at the Burning Crater, Archer and Shade were abot to face their foe*

 

Shade: show yourself!

 

Archer: who are you!

 

*the lava began to rise as it took shape*

 

???: I am the guardian of Fire, i am Lavadros. If you seek the gem of fire you must face my trial. You must defeat me in a battle waged within the crater. Do you accept young travelers?

 

Shade and Archer: Yes!

 

Lavadros: then let us begin. 

 

*Lavadros began to rush towards Archer and Shade. Its body set ablaze. Archer and Shade dodged to the sides* 

 

Archer: too slow! Huh! Shit!

 

* the lava around the platform rose and surrounded archer before solidifying into a stone jail*

 

Archer: The hell!

 

Lavadros: ill be going after you one on one.

 

Shade: damnit he is making it impossible for us to use combined force. Not if i can help it! Black Marionette! 

 

*wires of black energy ensnared Lavadros*

 

Shade: now your under my control, puppet!

 

Lavadros: If that is the best you got you will need a thousand years to beat me.

 

*the wires just snapped*

 

Shade: damn Sheer Darkness! Lets see how you like it in my world!

 

* darkness covered the entire area as shade stood in it.* 

 

Shade: in here there is no up or down, nor left or right. 

 

* her smiled*

 

Shade: Bloody Flurry!

 

*suddenly Lavadros took hundreds of hits but shade hadnt moved*

 

Lavadros: my body i- i cant move it!

 

Shade: thats right now then archer!

 

Archer: got it bro! Rail Line!

 

*Archer then fired an arrow made of pure energy the peirced Lavadros's chest and then he dissolved with the darkness. When it is gone the gem remained and Shade picked it up*

 

Shade: its warm

 

Archer: well it is the gem of fire.

 

Shade: lets get moving i dont want to set on fire in here. 

 

Archer: right

 

*Archer and Shade then got out of the Burning Crater and headed back*

 

Shade: do you think we should mention that we had to get the easiest gem?

 

Archer: Nah

 

Shade: ok then

Ch. 1: The Invincible Hydros

Part 6

---------------

 

*Trace and Hydros clashed. A few time Trace almost drowned*

 

Trace: you are quite the foe!

 

Hydros: as are you.

 

Trace: but not good enough! Royal Metal!

 

*Traces claymore incresed three times in size as he held it with two hands. He then started to slash at Hydros but finding his damage to be minimal.* 

 

Trace: what even are you!

 

Hydros: if i told you could easily defeat me!

 

Trace: fine then! Rising Dragon!

 

*a large blast of wind erupted from the earth below hydros but again the damage was minimal*

 

Trace: damn im losing energy fast.

 

Hydros: behold the true power of the trial of water!

 

Trace: im not yet finished with you!

 

Hydros: but im finished with you! Drowning Tides! 

 

* Hydros suddenly began to quickly flood the cavern with

water*

 

Hydros: if you wait too long you will drown, if you use up too much energy you will fall, so what will you do!

 

Trace: I- I- i dont know.......... Grrr but i wont stop trying! 

 

Hydros: your path has been chosen lets see if it is correct! Arctic Waters! 

 

*The area began to freeze around the Two combatants*

 

Trace: No! I wont lose! 

 

*He pointedhis claymore straight towards Hydros. He then held the arm holding the weapon amd the air began to stirr around Trace* 

 

Trace: Electrical Burst!

 

*electricity shot out of the sword and engulfed Hydros who soon fell defeated. The aquatic demon dissolved and in his place was the gem of water. Trace walked forward and picked up the gem and put it in his pocket*

 

Trace: well done my friend.

 

* he then left to meet up with Archer and Shade*

Ch. 1: The Nightmaren

Part 7

*Xio and Echo stared at the statue trying to think of a way to put it in their grasps*

 

Echo: Oh we could-

 

Xio: no

 

Echo: well then we c-

 

Xio: nope

 

Echo: then we can-

 

Xio: no

 

Echo: would you stop doing that!

 

Xio: nope

 

Echo: you such a jerk!

 

Xio: I know but there must be a simple way. Grrr this is just too brain racking!

 

Echo: hmmm....... Is it impossible to reach the platform?

 

*Xio looked at the platform. *

 

Xio: im going for it

 

Echo: what! Your insane!

 

Xio: and your gonna come with me!

 

Echo: what!!!

 

*Xio grabbed Echo and then ran forward and jumped into the whirlpool of sand*

 

----------

 

*All went black to them as the two fell uncontious . when they awoke the tow found themselves underground in a cave*

 

Xio: where are we?

 

Echo: a cave i think. Damn my head hurts like hell!

 

Xio: lets get going!

 

Echo: right

 

*our two heroes began to travel deeper into the cave*

 

Echo: hey i see a light!

 

Xio: yeah i see it too!

 

*when the two walked towards the light they found a massive stone room*

 

Echo: Hello?

 

Xio: who are you talking to there isnt anybo-

 

???: hello?

 

Xio: anybody here....... Huh.....

 

Echo: who are you?

 

???: my name is Echo

 

Echo so is mine!

 

*just then a shadow form of echo appeared followed by others they came out of the darkness.*

 

Xio: Nightmaren!

 

Echo: Night what!

 

Xio: these things are the reason the gamma team was formed! They are bugs in the system created by evil masters.

 

Echo: why do they look like me?

 

Xio: dont know but we need to finish these guys off!

 

Echo: right! 

 

*Xio suddenly set on fire and he ran forward destroying the army of Nightmaren just by touching them. Echo shot arcane energy at them to destroy them in single shots. Suddenly one nightmaren jumped on echo's back then another and another. Soon echo was buried under the creatures*

 

Xio: Echo! Huh No!

 

* suddenly Xio was also buried under the fiends*

Ch. 1: The Beta Type

Part. 8

*Echo had fallen uncontious*

 

Echo: where am i?

 

                            ----With Me-----

 

Echo: Who are you?

 

                           ----A Friend----

 

Echo: What do you mean?

 

                  ----I am a Trustworthy Friend----

 

Echo: How so?

 

                     ----I can Give You Power------

 

Echo: Power? 

 

----It is power you want.....to protect your other friends right-----

 

Echo: of course so i can protect them! 

 

                  ----I can give you that power----

 

Echo: Why me?

 

              ----Because You Have Potential----

 

Echo: Where is Xio!

 

                       ----He is Alive-----

 

Echo: but where is he?!

 

              ----Being Attacked by Nightmaren-----

 

Echo: What! I need to help him!

 

 ----but you are weak why would you think you could win?---

 

Echo: because i can try! 

 

 

            ----so you dont want my power?-----

 

Echo: No.

 

 --Are you sure for if you decline you cannot gain power---

 

Echo: I-I-I dont know

 

           ---Take my offer and you will be able to help---

 

*Echo reached out to the lock that had appeared infront of him but before he touched it he pulled away*

 

Echo: Fine i will take your power

 

                  --- Very well Echo---

 

 

 

 

* sulmddenly Echo awoke, his eyes were full of confidence and ferocity*

 

Echo: Final attack! Malestrom!

 

*a barrage of arcane bullets were fired off from Echo's body. He then rushed forward* 

 

Echo: Arcane sword!

 

*echo's hand was engulfed in a green light that took the shape of a blade. he began to slash through the nightmaren. They all exploaded as he reached Xio. He was on the ground*

 

Xio: Echo.....

 

 

*the confidence in echo's eyes left*

 

Echo:huh? Xio! Are you ok

 

Xio: come closer i have to tell you something

 

Echo: yes? What is it

 

Xio: come closer

 

Echo: what is it?

 

*Xio suddenly back hands Echo*

 

Echo: the hell!

 

Xio: ahahahhaha! Did you really think i was dead?!

 

Echo: asshole
