I'm interested to find out what the U.S news stations are saying about the death of John McCarthy. He's the guy who fell off a Las Vegas hotel the other day.

22 year old, Australian man who died. He fell off a Las Vegas hotel the other day. AFL player.

Haven't see or heard anything about him on the news

Nothing.

I think locally, at least, there may be something mentioned in Las Vegas' news but nationally nothing really goes on about this guy. I had to google that and even then the top result is from an Australian newspaper. National news right now is more focused on political things than learning about the latest freak accident/death/whatever with this everything that's going on in the presidential race. If he (and the sport for that matter) were more nationally known then his death would have probably gotten more attention and in addition not many people really know of the AFL so most likely the first time they would even hear about it would be in a local Las Vegas news report about his death.
