Pokemon: Not So Black and White *Sign-ups Closed*

Posted

Alright, decided just to go with it while I was in a good writing mood.

This roleplay takes place during the storyline of Black and White, with our characters in the places of Touko/Touya, Cheren, and Bianca. We'll encounter Team Plasma, Gym Leaders, legendary Pokemon, and see if our characters have what it takes to take down Team Plasma and find the truth.

I think it's best if there's only a maximum of four people here, including me, so that it isn't too hectic and people aren't left behind(coughmecough).

Rules:

No character deaths( Although you can have one of your Pokemon die in battle, although I've no idea why you'd want to )

No romance above PG-13( for now >> )

No Mary-Sues, everyone's gotta lose sometime.

Only allowed 6 Pokemon with you, you know how it goes.

Pokemon moves can be switched out as you want them to learn new ones(like if the Pokemon evolves you might want to let it learn a different type of move)

And most importantly, you can't go too far ahead into the rp without everyone else. Give everyone else a chance to catch up before going too far.

#1 Rule: If you don't make a contributing post within a day of your last(Making everyone wait on you), we'll move on, and you'll have to jump back into where we are currently at.

Now, if you'd kindly paste this little sprite to the end of your sign-up to show you've read these rules and understand them, I'd really appreciate it.

Name: Tsuki

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Posted Image

(Like this, but obviously in more trainer-friendly clothes, similar to Touko's)

Personality: Kind, caring, naive, she's very innocent in a sense.

Bio: After running away as a child, Tsuki had been on her own most of her life. She'd always been very close to Pokemon, but never allowed herself to become a trainer for fear of imprisoning a Pokemon against their will. Stumbling across a small Eevee that had been separated from it's parents and left in the cold and rain on it's own, she took it in. It became her first Pokemon.

Pokemon 1: Eevee

Moves: Iron Tail, Bite, Quick Attack, Charm

Pokemon 2: Oshawott

Moves: Tackle, Razer Shell, Water Gun, Focus Energy.

  • Hmmm.... I'm very tempted to take part of this RP. But I never did RP before.

  • No matter, so long as you can write and know a bit of Pokemon. Though playing Black and White should really help, since we're using that storyline.

alright riku.

But I'm gonna go on ahead with my character's plot.

I found myself at the front of the crowd and seeing the Plasmos directly. They were rambling on about what I said to the group about their plans. As I was looking at each member, One of them dressed differently than the others, but similarly to the leader or spokesman up front. I took a very good look at that member, And realized that my nightmare has begun...

"N-N-No. No. NO, IT CAN"T BE!!"

"Hmm?" he looked over at Xam.

"Hey Xam, do you know that man in the stupid poncho." he asked.

Where are Yuri and Russell? I haven't heard from them, and everyone seems to have found a spot... Where's Tsuki?

Ooh, I hope they're okay..

As he was waiting for whatever Plasma was planning on doing to happen, Russell scouted over the crowd - everyone looked exactly the same way he was thinking, all of them not sure what was about to happen. People talked over each other, trying to gather some sort of theory as to what was happening.

However, there was this one boy that stood out. A boy with long, green hair, wearing a baseball cap. He just looked at the crowd of knights, with a weird, almost content expression...did he know something about this?

NOTE: I'm adding a Team Plasma Admin, It's a female, her name is Celosia. Don't ask how I got that name. I still need to think of description. She will have personal ties to Xamtweth.

As Tsuki stared at the man, she couldn't help but feel as though this was the start of something big. And they would never be the same.

"My name is Ghetsis. I am here representing Team Plasma today. Ladies and gentleman, I would like to talk to you about Pokemon liberation."

'Liberation? How...is that even possible?'

"I'm sure most of you believe that humans and Pokemon are partners that have come to live together because we want and need each other. Is that really the truth? Have you ever considered that perhaps we humans...only assume that this is the truth? Pokemon are subject to the selfish command of Trainers...They get pushed around when they are our 'partners' at work...Can anyone say with confidence that there is no truth in what I'm saying?"

By now, Tsuki was clenching her fist in anger. How could he stand there and make such accusations?! SHE could say with confidence that there were very many Pokemon that loved and cared for their Trainers, her bond with Eevee was proof of that.

"Tell me, what is our responsibility towards these Pokemon? That's right, we must liberate the Pokemon! Only then will they be our equals. I end my words here today by asking you to consider. We sincerely appreciate your attention."

And with that he and the rest of Team Plasma left, leaving Tsuki speechless for a few moments.

Staring down at Eevee with hurt in her eyes, she wondered. "Are you...Those words weren't true, were they? You don't think of me that way, do you?"

"Eevee, Eeve."

Tsuki sighed in relief, picking Eevee up. "Thank you, I really needed to hear that. I'm so very glad."

sounds alright.

Can I have someone's character say a reply to N that Cheren had in the game in my next post? The one about Pokemon talking? Tsuki can talk to Pokemon, so I can't have her use that reply is all.

"Separate people and pokemon, and not just those who abuse pokemon, but all people. Given the mumblings I heard before hand, Team Plasma must be going across Unova to preach their cause." Yuri tried to summarize what went down.

As the people left the square in confusion, one man with long green hair stayed, and he was looking toward Xam and Yuri.

...What?! How could he say such things?! There are people out there that love and cherish their Pokemon! This is just nonsense! I feeling like punching the heck out of this guy! URGH!

(I'd be willing to make a reply to N, but I don't know what he says :()

Russell couldn't help but scoff at the cacophony that was going on in front of him. That can't be true. If it was, then... Russell pulled out Mort's pokeball and groped the side of the red-and-white orb with his fingers, looking down at it during the speech. If that were true...then why would Mort always look so happy when we're together? Then Russell was sure. He was sure that Plasma was wrong, that Pokemon were not slaves to people, or at least the majority...right?

(Russell could do the reply to N. :V)

I'll just write it quick for you in my post, Kirby, and you can copy it into your own afterward^^

Oh, alright ^^

There she was standing there with the spokesman, Celosia, my best friend, and crush. Why is Celosia with Team Plasma!? What the Hell happened to her? So many questions, I fell to the ground, filled with anger and sadness.

What if Celosia is on the team against her will? Well, that question shed some light.

I noticed the leaving after the speech. I was still on the ground. Anger, flowing through my body, I shot up the ground.

"WHAT, THE HELL!?"

NOTE: I may edit this part sometime, but that's the best I can come up with. When I think up Celosia's appearance, I post it.

Tsuki shook her head desperately, wanting to tell them all how much she'd heard their Pokemon tell them they loved them. Couldn't they hear it? Before she could get the words out, a green haired Trainer approached them. He was tall, but no older than 17 at most. He wore black and white, and had something that looked like a colorless rubix cube on a chain from his pants.

"You...Just now, your Pokemon were saying..." He began, but Mika quickly spoke up. "Slow down, what's this about Pokemon...talking? What a weird thing to say."

Tsuki stared at her, surprised and a bit shocked. "You...really can't hear it?" She looked down, deeply confused. She'd always thought people could actually hear what Pokemon where saying, but maybe...they had simply learnt what their gestures were.

But then...why could she understand them as if it were a second nature to her?

The trainer's voice roused her from her musings as he continued. "...Yes. They're talking. My name is N."

Wow, you guys write so fast. I can't get all the reactions in o.o

So if I 'ignore' something like all that pained yelling, it's because I didn't see it when I started writing.

Damn It felt good to yell out like that! Sadly I think they gonna have to know about my past life.

I turned to notice a green haired man talking to the white haired girl. She looks confused and scared.

NOTE: Riku, I got a reply I wanna use, I think I may end up battling him.

As the crowd phased out, Russell put away Mort's Pokeball and looked around for the others. He saw Mika and Tsuki talking with the bizarre green-haired boy. From their confused expressions, he could tell something was going down. I wonder what that's about? Russell thought to himself as he went to see what was going on with the party of 3.

(I might not post here or anywhere else for a bit. Gonna do chores. I'll post at least once more tonight.)

Go ahead, I really don't want Tsuki battling him. I'd really like her to form a...almost friendship with him and start thinking like our trainers in B/W. Besides...I have a weird little plot for Tsuki, which very well explains why she can understand Pokemon. >83

Unknowingly, I went to where N and Tsuki are standing.

"Your name's N? that's an odd name. Got a reason for that name?"

...Where are the others? Ooh, I have a bad feeling about this! And this N guy... I don't know what to think! Today isn't my day. *sigh* But, is it true? About what the Team Plasma guy said?

"Tsuki! Mika! Xam!" Russell exclaimed as he joined the growing party. "What's up?" Russell turned towards the alien green-haired boy that fixated Russell's attention before the speech. "...and who's this guy?"

"His name's N, and claims that he can pokemon can talk to him" Did this guy came out of an asylum or something, cause I never heard of a pokemon talking to people.

My replies aren't showing up...

"No. Not really." N shrugged, not caring much to answer truthfully.

Looking up at him, Tsuki wondered. This trainer...he could understand Pokemon. She felt a desperate need to know why, and how, as if that'd be her own explaination. Of course, it wasn't something she could outright ask him...

"My name is Tsuki, and this is my partner, Eevee." Taking a deep breath, she decided. She knew what she had to do now. "We're going to defeat the Gym Leaders and become Champion."

Glancing at Xam, she hesitated. He'd made it clear that humans understanding Pokemon wasn't normal. Would he think differently of her if she spoke out to correct him? She fidgeted nervously, afraid if she said the wrong thing she'd lose her new friends.

(Eventually Tsuki will give up that dream and pursue something else. You'll see.)

Mika stood on the side, watching. She had a bad feeling about this 'N'. Who was he? Where did he come from?

There was something odd about him... Although, she had to admit that he was drop-dead smexy.

(he's still cute!)
