Have any one wondered why is Cid is in every Final fantasy game? Could he have family in every world or thers an biger cid that pregnet a woman in every world or he just travels

    I cannot find the source any longer, but from what i remember of an article i read a while back there was a member on one of the teams for FFII with the name of Cid, and they used his name for that game and it just sort stuck like an inside joke/easter egg for the fans.

    Every game has a Cid since FFII just because, ya know, why not? Same reason there's always been Chocobos since FFII and Moogles since FFIII, along with tons of other monsters like Behemoths and the summons, I guess.
