"Not your business," Romelia replied coldly. "We were trying to save a friend," Alix answered. He wandered up to Maria and took her out of the car and brought her to Romelia. "There. She's safe, now," Romelia said. She looked off into the distance. "Alix...I have to tell you something..." "What?" She turned to him, aimed her staff at his face, and grinned. Alix jumped back. "Blue Thundara!" Romelia shouted. About a million blue bolts of electricity flashed into Alix, paralyzing, and possibly killing him. "Staff...powered...able...to...kill...man..." he managed before going out. "Alix!" Maria shouted. Maria stared frantically at Romelia. Maria dashed off to hide behind a pillar. "Come out, little girl!" Romelia called. Maria moved to the other side of the pillar when Romelia was near her. "Oh for..." Romelia kicked the pillar, smashing it and flinging Maria a few feet.

Malvar was a little shocked at what Romelia was doing, but recognized that kind of power from the forest. Malvar drew his sword and stepped in front of Romelia. "That's far enough, i'm placing you under arrest.....guardian." said Malvar.

 

Patrox eventually saw the enlisting area near the tower. "You two, keep up, and try to be put into Malvar's unit, he'll watch out for ya." said Patrox.

"Playing hero...Hero?" Romelia joked. "W-W-What are you going to do to me?" Maria gasped. Romelia walked over and lifted Maria's chin up. "You see, your life force is precious to my staff, so I need it," Romelia explained. "You need my soul!?" "Not quite." "What did you do to poor Alix?" "Just a little harmless trick." "Well, that's pretty intense for a harmless trick. That was an evil trick!" "Exactly." Romelia strolled over to Alix and pulled him over to Maria. She dropped him on her. She picked the two up, and jumped up a building, with several to reach the top. "You wouldn't drop us, would you?" Maria smiled slightly. "No. I will when your empty shell is left." Maria winced. "STOP. RIGHT. THERE!" "What now?" Romelia asked herself angrily. Two men in uniforms were climbing up after Romelia and Maria. "Help!" Maria shouted. Romelia turned quickly and knocked Maria closer to the edge with her right foot. "Halt, young lady!" The two said, with guns in their hands. "Don't come any closer or I'll kill you!" Romelia threatened. "We won't fall for that oldie!" "Fine. So be it. Firaga!" Romelia cast a fire spell to catch the two men on fire. "HOT!" One fell on the other, both falling a huge drop. "It's just you and me, Maria."

Drake nodded, "Are you in his unit too?"

Romelia smirked and looked at Maria. Alix was regaining consciousness. "Where the hell am I?" he moaned. "The closest thing to the after-life," Romelia said. "Oh. Is that a bad thing?" Alix asked. "YES!" Maria shouted. "Okay." "So, who wants to die first?" Romelia inquired. "Neither!" Maria exclaimed. Maria jumped up and grabbed Alix's hand. "Hurry, Alix!" "Where are we going?" "Away form this destructive woman!" Maria and Alix hid behind an alley. "We're safe!" Alix cheered. "Don't be so sure. I'm just getting started!" Romelia replied. Alix hopped in front of Maria. "I'll play the fool! I'm playing the fool! I'm playing the---" Romelia pushed him over. "Come to my staff, Maria's soul, Feelded!" "Why did you name my soul 'Feelded'?" "Because it's oh so similar to feel dead!" Romelia explained.

"Yeah, i'm in his unit as well, he'll call on me every so often, other times i'm just walking around, trying to find stuff to do, it's a tough life." said Patrox as he entered the building. "That's the guy who takes care of the sign ups....just sign in quickly and don't make eye contact, he's crazy." said Patrox. "Oh, and another thing about that guy, he's in the brute unit, so, unless you very skilled, i wouldn't pick a fight with him." said Patrox.

Drake nodded and him and ryu walked over. Ryu signed his name down for first aid unit then Drake then for combat, while Drake was signing.. Ryu looked at the man in control of the sign ups.

"Hey, your friend done signing up yet, cause that guy creeps out even me." said Patrox. "By the way, i never got your name's, i'm gonna need to know them if we'll be working together." said Patrox.

Romelia aimed her staff at Maria's head. "What do I do?" Maria sighed. "Nothing much, other than cry for your boyfriend." "I said a million times! He is NOT MY BOYFRIEND!"

DRake looked over at Ryu after Patrox asked if he was done then he nodded as Ryu slowly walked back to the two. "Im Drake and this is Ryu.."

Ryu signled a Patox with a two finger salute. "So what now?" Ryu asked.

"Now, we go and find out if Malvar's done anything stupid, he may be my commanding officer, but he's still a year younger than me." said Patrox as he headed out of the building.

 

Malvar was heading to the sign up area, planning to meet Patrox, Drake and Ryu half way there. "I just hope Patrox didn't get into any trouble." Malvar said to himself.

As the three went to find Malvar -

"Hey isnt that him right there?" Ryu said as he saw someone coming up to them.

"I think so..."Drake answered.

"Oh yeah, that's him." said Patrox. Patrox noticed someone with a long steel pipe sneaking up beside Malvar. "Oh, not again.....that guy with the pipe has been trying to get into the scouts for some time, they told him that the only way to do that, was sneak up and successfully attack Malvar....i can't wait to see how he fails at it this time." said Patrox.

 

"Hey guys." called Malvar. Malvar then heard someone yell 'Sneak Attack'. Malvar raised his left fist and sent the guy to the ground with a hit to the face. "Ya know, if you want to be a good scout eventually, best not to yell 'SNEAK ATTACK', when you're running at your opponent." said Malvar as he met up with the others.

Romelia only laughed even more. "I have a short attention span..." she lied. "Hey? Remember this!" Maria swung at Romelia face, tearing out her hair. "The hell was that effort?" Romelia asked. "Hah?" Romelia's hair was still quite long. Maria hauled Alix up. "Where are we going?" He inquired. "Away!" Maria whispered. She and Alix hid in a building. Maria winced when she saw dead, un-moving bodies. "Did...did she...kill them?" Maria whimpered. "Yeah. Sucked their life force out!" Alix explained

"Huh, you can say that again Drake, you should've seen what happened last time, the guy snuck up behind Malvar with a sword, but when he went for a vertical cut, the sword got jammed in a wooden plank, the guy was as pitiful then as he is now." said Patrox.

Romelia hurried in pushed Alix and Maria over. "Why don't you just screw off, lady?" Alix shouted. "Because. I like you guys." Romelia aimed her staff at Maria ad Alix once again. "Now. Let's serious!" Reomlia exclaimed.

"Wait!"Drake interrupeted. "Isn't there something we should probably train for?"

Ryu nodded in agreement.

"Wait!" Drake interrupted. "Isn't their we should be training for?"

Ryu nodded in agreement.

"Oh yeah, there was that senor psychopath we have to fight in a couple of days." said Patrox as he face palmed himself. Malvar walked up towards the others. "That's not all, i found this Aspirian who is actually quite a challenge, you and me have to fight her Patrox." said Malvar. "Ok, so, first we deal with senor psychopath, then we finish off that other fight." said Patrox.

Drake began thinking. "Do you think we may be able to defeat this Aspirian with the four of us?" He asked.

"Well, not to sound selfish, but only me and Patrox are fighting the assassin, i gave her my word, as for that tornado head, i have a plan, follow me." said Malvar as he headed to the briefing area for his specific unit. "Last one there fights an entire Aspirian unit alone." said Patrox as he ran after Malvar.

Drake and Ryu followed Patrox who was following Malvar who was heading......somewhere. Drake gradually caught up with Patrox when Ryu rushed passed the two screaming "I'M NOT FIGHTING NO ARMY!!!!!!! AHHHHH!" and Drake began to laugh.

Patrox laughed as well. "Hey Drake, don't tell Ryu but, i only said that to see if he could actually run if he needed to, you'd be surprised at how many of our magic users don't run." said Patrox. Malvar stopped in front of a building that had a symbol on it, the symbol was that of a sword and shield. "Here we are." said Malvar as he entered the building.

Drake and Ryu followed in into the building.
