Setting:

This takes place in a world that is a mix of medieval and modern times, where sword clashes with gun and magic faces lasers. Nothing is impossible and everything is probable. Keep in mind this RP is very similar to Final Fantasy that includes technology, magic, and items.

 

Story:

In the midst of a civil war and new threat steps forward. A third force enters the battle with and army of undead warriors. A group of brave warriors rise up and conquer this force of walking dead and end the civil war but learn a truth behind it all when it is only a little too late.

 

Layout:

Start the story where ever you wish but I want everyone to eventually congregate together (Depending if you’re good or bad.). Some of us will be on the west side of the country’s civil war (Arcadians) and some will be on the east side (Aspirians). Then the army of the undead is led by 11 spirit guardians, said to be protecting bits and pieces of a spirit that belonged to an extremely powerful paladin from many centuries ago. After the guardians are killed off, the final foe will be remade. Because we defeated the guardians he was reborn and is as evil as ever. Of course we take him out.

Magic Casting System:

In this role play characters don’t just simply cast magic they have to say aloud what they are casting.

e.g.: Matt said “Thundaga!” and a jolt of lightning shot from the sky.

The reason for this is to further explain the spell ‘Mute’. Anyone who has played Final Fantasy knows what mute does. It causes a status effect so the effected character can’t use magic. So when someone is muted they can’t say the spell in order to cast it. Make sense?

 

Rules:

• Be creative.
• Be descriptive.
• Have fun.
• Don’t let the RP die.
• Do not kill off others characters without permission.
• Do not control others characters without permission.

Start where you wish but eventually every good guy need to gradually group together. This RP will follow the layout of Final Fantasy. All 11 Gaurdians will eventually die of course. And magic starts at low level and people work your way up. Have fun and be creative.

 

[Drake & Ryu]

Drake and Ryu continue walking the path ahead of them. Both seemed a little exauhsted.

"Seems like he got away! Again!" Drake exclaimed. Drake and Ryu were chasing the theif who stole Drake's mother's amulet for the second time. "I can't beleive I lost him twice!"

"It's okay." Ryu smiled. "We'll get it back, Drake." Drake nodded and they continued.

 

[Zephyr]

Off in the shadows near by Drake and Ryu. "Hee Hee Hee......Seems like such a nice boy...."

"Some say I'm cruel, but I don't mind. They normally lose their lives," Romelia said. "You bi--" "Shut up, Alix. Don't swear." Maria lectured. "But...?" :Maria grabbed Alix's hand firmly. "Okay. You should be doing guardian things!" she exclaimed. "I am doing guardian things. If you don't shut up, you'll blow my cover. And I'll kill you. And turn you into servants." Romelia waved her staff and Maria's mom appeared. "Mom?" "Gather...friends to save me..." Maria's mom seemed to explode. "Screw you! Now I have to go find some friends. It's all your fault!" "But Maria! You have me as a friend!" "It's not enough, dear boy," Romelia replied. "She's right. I need more friends." "But...uh....Maria!" "No, Alix. We're different races. We can't work together!" "That's not true!" "You see, the girl is on. Why aren't you getting it?" Romelia asked Alix. "You're tearing us apart!" "By speaking the truth?" "Uh...Bu..but..." Alix's voice began to crack. "Good-bye, Maria. Go find your frickin' friends!" "Did I it okay?" Maria asked Romelia. "You did good, sweetie!" Romelia waved her staff again. "Where's Alix?" Maria shouted. "I don't know." Romelia walked off.

Drake looked around in amazement .."Whoa.."He was speechless 'This place is awesome' He saw training dummies and knights sparring, weapons of different shapes and sizes; quit the variety. "So what kind of training are we going to do?" He asked eagerly.

 

Ryu walked around, not seeing anything in the area of his specialty, being a white mage and all. "What am i goin' to do here?" He asked not seeing a training area for his kind. 

"Well, you can go and train anywhere that the other swordsmen train....as for you, Ryu, you'll pretty much be a battlefield helper and medic, so, in short, you'll be assisting the archers in long range, and when we come back here, you're helping with the healing of our wounded." said Malvar.

 

Patrox smirk a little at a thought he had. "Don't worry Ryu, nobody get's past our infantry to get to the archers.......often." said Patrox.

Ryu gulped at the word 'often' "but what of improving my healing arts?" He said shakily.

Drake then interupted. "All i care about is defeating that freaking tornado freak and getting back my amulet.

 

(Im going to make a character that is in charge of the Unit Commanders, with the characters i have now i can't really control the direction of the RP)

"Well Ryu, for improving you're healing arts, you just go around the hall helping those who get injured sparring." said Malvar before he ducked and a scout flew over his head, hitting a wall. "Like that guy." said Malvar. "As for you Drake, there are a few tips i have to make you a better fighter, lesson number one, never attack in anger, lesson number two, know when to retreat." said Malvar.

 

"Hey, Malvar, i forget, what's lesson number three?" asked Patrox.

 

"To get to lesson number four." said Malvar as he walked off to give pointers to the other rookies.

Drake looked down in guilt... 'Never attack in anger...maybe we would have put up a better fight if i didn't' Drake snapped out of his thoughts and nodded and walked off looking for someone to spar with.

 

Ryu ran over to the person that flew over Malvar's head and began to heal him. "Cure!" He helped up the fighter."Heya nice to met you I'm Ryu, white mage."

 

The healed knight smiled. "I'm Kyle, thanks for healing me." Kyle was approximately 5'10" and had wavy blonde hair. He encased in a shiny, silver, heavy suit of armor.

 

"No problem" Ryu replied.

Patrox was walking around before he saw smoke coming out of one of the back rooms. "Oh great.......HIT THE DECK!!!!" shouted Patrox as he dove for the ground. Drake looked over towards Patrox and a few soldiers  and the ground. "Oh come on, Patrox, what's wrong no......." said Malvar until he to noticed the smoke. "Oh, you've got to be kidding." said Malvar as he dove behind a nearby table. Small explosions were heard behind the door before a larger one blew the door off. "Scientists." muttered Patrox.

The door flew pass Drake as he quickly ducked, the door almost his Ryu buy Kyle instinctively jumped in front of him cutting the door in half. "Knock it off back there!" He exclaimed.

Now with them alone, I can finally take this city for myself. Romelia thought.

 

 

"Why?! Why does fate happen!?" Alix cried. "I'm thinking of committing suicide."

"Man, the amount of times that they've blasted the door off of their room, it's a real pain in the..." said Patrox. "Patrox...watch it, we still have some young recruits around here, and we don't need them having THAT much experience yet." said Malvar. "Hey, somebody give those scientists a better, and blast proof door, because if they can't stop the explosions, the Aspirians won't get the chance to fight us, they'll kill us before the war ends." said Malvar.

Drake laughed a little. "Well, im ready to train at anytime."

 

Kyle turned around and face Ryu, "You must be knew huh?" Ryu nodded, still in shoke of the door insident "Well, im about to walk the city, would you like a tour?" 

 

"Sure!" Ryu said.

Romelia sighed as she saw Drake, Kyle and Ryu for a split second. "I need something to do. Not all upon little humans!" Romelia kicked a trash can.

 

 

Maria searched for Alix. "ALIX!!!!!!!!!!!"

Ryu turned to the person yelling near by. "Huh?"

Drake didn't even notice the person Ryu did but did notice Ryu's reaction. "What is it Ryu?" Kyle turned to look at the direction Ryu was looking and pointed then Drake looked also. The three were all facing Romilia now. "What's with you?" Drake asked.

Romelia turned and ran away in a building. She peeked out of a damaged window, and shortly ducked down. She activated her staff with blue lightning and waited to see if the others would ignore her, or come after her.

Kyle started after Romilia, "We have a resister!" He exclaimed. Drake soon followed. 'Perfect! This could be great training for the guardian!' He thought to himself.

Why do they always have to rush after me like idiots? Romelia thought. Her staff glowed blue with power. I may as well toy with them. She stepped out of the building.

The three took guard. "Who are you?" Kyle asked.

"Mariana," Romelia lied. "What are you three doing here? Training I presume?"

Drake shrugged "Possibly, by why should we tell you?" 

Kyle nudged Drake, "Knights of the Royal army act more decent then that-" He then stepped forward. "You presume correctly, what may you be doing here?"

(Hey, what i miss?)

(Wait, should we wait for Keyblade?)

 

 

"I was looking for a dear friend." Romelia looked at her staff, glowing green. "To save him."

Drake jumped forward "We can help you! What does your friend look like?"

"His name's Alix....he has brown hair, a brown coat and green jeans. Oh. And he has blue eyes. He's gone missing. Not that you have to help or anything...." Romelia muttered.
