Typically when they make the abillity Zero Exp available, people like to do a playthrough of the game without leveling up, hence level one. The abillity doesnt come automatically equiped, you have to turn it on. The trailers show gameplay that is clearly not lvl 1.

I know it wasn't only lvl1 when I saw it at the trailers I though first like an extra option that mayby a trophy was made for it.

Now that you brought it up, a trophy for beating the game at LV1 would be very possible. A reward other than pride for once.
