Come on, the Imperials tried to cut off your head when they knew you were innocent. That, to me is corrupt and morally wrong. Yet the Stormcloaks seem like racist douche F***s.

December 31, 201212 yr Imperials, the armor and weapons you get from them are better, they less douchey commanders, and aren't racist assholes. The Empire is key to the economic and military success of Skyrim. Without imperial control, Skyrim will loose all economic ties and fall into a depression, in addition it would make it an easy target for the Thalmor to conquer. Alas, the Imperials have made worship of Talos, for the most part, illegal but that is only as a condition of the peace treaty with the Thalmor. They never enforce the law anyway. If a priest in the middle of Whiterun, the heart of Skyrim, can scream 24/7 about Talos right outside Dragonsreach I think worship of Talos is acceptable.
