[align=center]I'm sure there's probably a few threads buried deep within the Birth By Sleep section regarding this silly question...but does anyone know why Vanitas looks like Sora?

Well, sort of. Same hairstyle and face, just different colors ( Vanitas has the black hair, golden eyes, and paler skin ).

 

I've yet to formulate an actual reason for why Vanitas could possibly look like Sora. Many people seem to believe that Vanitas looks like Sora because Ventus is connected to Sora by heart and Vanitas is a part of Ventus. But for that to be true, wouldn't Ventus have to had met Sora prior to Vanitas being born? Yet the only time Ventus meets Sora is at the very end of the game when their hearts fuse, long after Vanitas was created, lived his life, and then died.

 

And then it can't be that Vanitas influenced Sora's appearance because they both existed at the same time, Sora as a little boy and Vanitas as his sexy self.

 

Is there even a confirmed reason as to why Vanitas looks that way?

When Vanitas was born and Ventus's Heart is shattered. Ventus met Sora's newley born heart in Destiny Island. The creator said at that time Sora's Heart was born. Vanitas had the appreance of Sora's because he is Ventus's missing heart and darkness. So whoever made Sora's heart made him like Ventus the potiental to make the X-Blade.

Trust me, I was having the same problem figuring out why Sora looked like Vanitas. I even posted a thread on here before, wondering why lol.

I have a theory about why ven looks like roxas, I think that since whejn he was frozen in the secret ending for kingdom hearts 2 final mix, he was frozen for a long time. Later on, he was defrosted by the orginization and they took him. He forgot his name and so they called him roxas. (this is just a theory) and you know how on the island scene he closes with, his name was---- and you never hear him finish I think its ventus or ven. (again, just a theory) Aqua and Terra were most likely dead before roxas defrosted and the orginization found him. I have yet another theory of why master xehanort is different in kingdom hearts 2. I say that he time traveled after that whole battle scene and destroyed the past and he made himself younger and his old name was xehanort back then and thats why he doesnt like to be called xehanort! and he calls himself Xemnas!!!!!!! I think when he time traveled, he left Terra and Aqua left to die. I think I have a good theory and I think it might be true but its NOT TRUE FOR SURE!

Ok first off, there is no theories for Ven looks like Roxas, or anything about Birth By Sleep. You should of just watch the videos online.
