March 15, 201015 yr Author Thats sad. Other cultures are interesting! Especially if that other culture is in your heritage like me.
We lived in peace,
We loved our land,
We never ceased,
We always stand,
They came to us,
In monsters of wood,
They looked like us,
But had strange blood,
They looked at us,
With eyes of disgust,
They grabbed their ropes,
And we got distrust,
They made us walk,
From our homeland,
No one talked,
We died instead,
Years later I walked that trail,
That my family had crossed
without any fail,
They said it was full of tears by lose,
But all I see is a Cherokee Rose.
