Story-

In a future Japan that has been affected by a major war and numerous terrorist attacks, the work of ancient demons said to only be in myths are at work, hiding within the bodies of humans. Only few still live today…however, the demons that are left over are the ones who are different. These demons…eat human souls. Most of these demons switch forms, their true forms; however, could these demons help us? Could these demons stop the new technology called R.A.I?

R.A.I-

Or, Real Artificial Intelligence.  Created by Komamori Sasa. This system allows robots to act more human. The system is going berserk and needs to be stopped. The R.A.I program is triggering the war, making the war even worse. Japan is becoming ruins because of Komamori and the R.A.I’s.  Some R.A.I’s have special abilities such as shape shifting.

Rin woke up, it was finally morning. She jumped off of the small couch she slept in (her 'house' didn't have a bed in it, in her terms they cost too much). She quickly got on her dress, tied up her ribbon, put on her socks and shoes, attempted to brush her hair, chained up her necklace and strapped on her anklet. Soon, Rin was out the door. Every step she took, her four bells rung, making her widely noticeable. Rin finally made it to the main road. Most of Tokyo was ruins, buildings were destroyed, you could practically see right through them and the roads were semi clear. Rin stuck out walking down the roads. She was different from the others, however, people who are demons, people can barely tell they even are demons. Some names she specifically was called would be: Monster, Unclean, Clingy, Inhuman, Problem Child, etc. These names didn't bother Rin, she practically didn't mind. She stopped at a building to see a Television playing through the window. It showed Komamori Sasa and that their were more R.A.I's being on sale. That is the odd thing about R.A.I's, you could buy them.

"I wouldn't want to be a R.A.I, it's like Slavery...boring with no freedom at all, unlike me." she laughed before walking up the road again.

"What's wrong, Austin?" Natildei asked him. "The world too hard?" She walked over to him. "I've heard it's easier to get humans when they're sleeping," she whispered.

"I don't eat souls like you guys do. I am forbidden from eating them and killing people...I have to eat them without killing the person, it's such a pain, but Satan forbid me." Rin announced with a sigh.

"But I still get to eat them! I have to ask someone a question though and if they answer then I get to eat their soul. I know! Tonight we'll go eat some souls! All three of us! I am Rin Sazuki by the way!" Rin smiled.

"Seriously Rin?" Rei asked, obviously mad.

"Okay. At least I'll have something to do," Natildei sighed. "I guess hanging around Matt for quite some time now has caused his soul to be a little loose, but it's too strong right now." She looked over at Matt thinking about things.

"Mind if I join, too?" Soma smiled. He hadn't eaten a soul in weeks and though he didn't need to, he just missed the taste of them. "Just don't go around eating all of them before me Natildei. I know how greedy you get with them" Sakura sighed.

"I suppose I'll just travel solo tonight," Sakura smacked Soma on the side of the head.

"No, I don't mind. Kei is coming along with us, she is the R.A.I I found!" Rin said, slightly hugging Kei.

She let go of her quickly, remembering something.

"Oh! Don't eat everyone's soul tonight, we need to keep some people alive still." she added.

Natildei glared at Soma. "Of course! I don't want to leave all of them!" She then turned to Rin. "Yes, we do. It might give some humans an idea of what happened. If we really had to though, I guess we could kill some that actually realize..."

"That's a good idea. New deal: We only kill the ones who know we are demons!" Rin announced.

Bizarre..possibilities!

"Sound like a good plan," Soma smiled.  For once, he was excited about doing something with the other demons.

Maybe If I follow them, then I will learn more about the R.A.I. Sakura thought. She nodded slightly in approval of her plan.

 

Meanwhile, Kazumi, totally shocked at what she was saying, sneaked around the block to the other side, where she saw Cassidy. "Get away from them, they're all demons!" she tried to tell Cassidy.

(Regal is and Cassidy is an American in a group of demons and people native to the area. Oh the possibilities.)Did he mention how he hated other demons on most normal days? Souls this, kill that, and crazies running around the world. Honestly it was in his mind boring, unneeded, and out right insulting to him. Still if he followed he could make himself feel better by getting one in a tight situation. Maybe even sink one into the ground to make sure they starve. Those were his kind of cruel ideas. "I'll join but Cassidy gets to come along as well."Regal was dragging her with the crazies? Lots of fun, killing, and torture had to evolved of if he was going with them. Seeing as he was a odd bird demon. "Unless you really want to see what you'll get struck with by my hand if you say no." Yay for pointy swords that in the end would have a demon on the end of the shiny blades they possessed.

"Alright let's go eat." Austin suddenly did a crazy smile as he shifted into his demon form. Corners of his mouth drooling with blood as he quickly licked it away. 

"Just have to do one last thing..." Natildei wandered over to Matt. "Hey. Want to come along?" "No," he replied, sobbing. "Please?" Natildei extended her mouth to a smile. "I SAID NO!" Matt roared. Natildei transformed into her hydra form and hissed. "Nope." Natildei paused and shrank back to normal. "Fine.' Natildei hurried over to the other demons.

"Souls, Souls, Souls, Souls!" Rin excaimed, starting to walk off, Kei fallowing her.

Rin could only change forms on certain conditions...she had to know something...and she had to get an answer.

"Don't get in any trouble Rin." Kei added before she entered a cafe.

Rin would be eating the most fresh souls that were hard to find tonight.

Soma responded as well with a creepy smile. He fully transformed and unleached Akuno. "We'll be eating good tonight, Akuno." Soma patted Akuno. Akuno barked loudly. Soma flew to the rooftop, getting ready to pounce on anybody nearby. Akuno followed him, jumping all the way to the roof next to Soma.

"What an idiot," Sakura sighed. She followed Rin and Kei into the cafe.

 "He he he! I'm really excited now!" Austin chuckled as he summoned an 8-foot scythe covered in ancient letters glowing red. He leaped on top of a building his tongue sticking out. He was starving and his meal for today was some yummy souls. 

'Crazies everywhere. Still maybe I can give one a little hell before hell himself melts them into the ground. I don't think anyone would have the courage to take on a freaking thirty feet high dragon. Namely one that could burn them to the ground.' Pausing her thoughts she leeched onto Regal's arm to hopefully give the demons a little time before the fiery demon would come after them. "So lizard breath how long you gonna tolerate it?"

Was he mad as hell now? How about doubling that. It just frustrated him how stupid they could be. "They better start running when they seem me coming after them." Fire licking at his hands he sighed. "Why am I even helping them at this point? I should just go back to hell and watch them burn with there stupidity."

(Serious someone needs to start a fight with Regal. We'll get a Cassidy on crack and fireworks from it.)

Matt noticed the demons moving, so started to think. He looked at Kazumi for a second when he was about to follow them.

 

 

 

Natildei began to strategy-think. She eyed a small human boy. Looking around, she walked over. "Hi." "Hello," the boy murmured. She pushed the boy into a small spot under rubble. "What's happening?" he asked. Without responding, Natildei whipped out her transparent arms and grabbed the boy.  Despite his whimpering, Natildei held him more. As he continued screaming, his face grew paler, until finally he was a lifeless corpse. "I don't eat them, just suck them into my stomach."

Rin smiled slightly and immediately transformed into her winged self with rather shorter hair and a bit younger as well, but she was more mature now. Kei fallowed Rin as she entered the cafe.

"Where could I sit?" she asked her first question.

Kei stayed silent and a rather young man called Rin over to the table he was sitting at.

"Thank you for answering my question, foolish human." Rin laughed.

Kei stood at the doors, using her ability to hack into data to keep the sliding doors from opening after Sakura entered.

Rin stood up, she hadn't even sat down yet. She gave a slight smile and approached the man, getting rather close to his face, staring straight at his eye.

"Tell me....why are you here alone like this?" she asked her question.

The man seemed to zone out, his body going limp, his eyes where dazed.

"My wife is going to divorce me, I am running out of money and I came here to get drunk, maybe then everything would be okay..." the man confessed, speaking almost lifelessly.

"Thats what I wanted to hear." Rin smiled as a light blue beam of light from the mans forehead shone on Rin, it was his soul. Rin stood motionless as the soul made its way into Rin's body. After the soul was finished off, the man sat their with tears in his eyes.

Rin laughed and turned to the rest who where trying to break out.

While waiting for the others, Natildei stood around the entrance of the café. "There's no escape!" Matt shouted. "If it isn't the bothersome boy. What do you want now?" "What are you and the other demons planning?" "As if I would tell you," Natildei smirked and grabbed Matt with her transparent hands. "It's nice of you to bring yourself right to us." Matt took out his hand cannon and aimed it at Natildei's head. Instantly, she tossed him into the rubble and cackled. Matt breathed heavily and staggered to get out of the rubble.

*Might want to mention, the power is due to go out. Doesn`t mean you can`t post! Just warning, might not be on for the day tomorrow!*

 Austin watched an old man wobbling into an alley mumbling about demons, food, and water. He licked his lips. 'Looks like I found my dinner.' He thought. Austin jumped from the building, landing in front of the old man startling him. "A-a demon!" The old man cried in an weak voice. "That's right, and you're my meal for today old man." Austin replied with a smirk. The old man got on his knees. "N-no please! I never did anything!" Austin raised his scythe hesitating for a second his smirk erased from his face. "At least I'll end your suffering quickly." Austin said as he brought the blade through the old man's chest. The old man's painful scream was cut off as his body disappeared only leaving behind a floating sphere, the old man's soul. "Bottoms up." He said as he dropped the soul into his mouth, chewed, and swallowed with a happy sigh. After Austin ate more human souls, he shifted back into his human form, and returned to the area where the others who were already done was waiting.

Rin gave a sly smile, wielding her hand daggers, she pointing them at the others.

"Why do humans despise demons?! Why do they buy these R.A.I?! Why do they trigger the war?" She asked.

Rin didn't give them a choice to answer she simply cut them in half and blue lights engulfed them as they died. Their souls taking the form of doves and flying straight at Rin, the doves dissolving as they hit Rin. This was her main way of getting souls.

After she ate about three more, she turned to Kei.

Kei let of the data grip she had on the doors and let the remaining humans run out.

"I've had my fun." She laughed.

Matt dashed out into the bushes. Ryonda was there too. "Why are you here?" he asked 'her'. "Well, I thought you might want help to the demons." "You know about the demons?" "Yeah." Ryonda took the hand cannon from Matt and and aimed it and Natildei. She fired and Natildei back-flipped onto the roof of the cafe. "Sorry I wasted your shot," Ryonda ran back to another bush. "Come back! I'm not mad!" "You don't understand true love," Natildei explained. "Oh really? What do you know that I don't?" "None of your business." Natildei stretched her arms toward the hand cannon. "Hey!" The hands reeled the weapon to Natildei's real hands and she fired at Matt randomly. He retreated away after Ryonda, obviously, left without a weapon. "Well. That was just fine. And I stole his cannon, too," Natildei announced with a grin.
