I used to LOVE Minecraft, However, after a large castle project I attempted to build the Sky Fortress  Damocles (Code Geass) and half way up it reached the sky limit and had to stop. This demotivated me so much that I haven't played since (about 6 months now). Now I feel like playing again, but I don't know what to do.... Survival mode seems to plain and mundane, and I can't find a project I want to work on in creative..... Help, anyone?

Minecraft hmmm...Build Rome 8D That seems to be a really popular build right now :3.

If you want to work on a project, I would suggest using things such as MCEdit and World edit.  MCEdit is a (At least I believe it to be) third party Minecraft world editor.  You can do things such as change/delete large portions of land and edit it to your liking.  I believe World Edit functions similarly, except it is an in game mod (I've hardly ever used it.).  If you choose to use MCEdit, I'd recommend checking out the tutorial in the first link, as well as checking out SethBling's MCEdit filters.  I'm not sure if the filters would be of use to you, but it couldn't hurt to check them out.

SethBling's MCEdit Filters (Each one has a link to a video description of how the filters work):

World Edit:

Another option would be to try out some adventure maps if you're not wanting to play survival.  There are some really good ones if you'd be interested in trying them out.  Here's a link to a list of ones that you might enjoy:

Wow man, that's really useful info! I'll see what I can pull out of these links. I have heard wonderful things about the mod for producing/deleting mass amounts of blocks so hopefully I can get that at least :) (damn like quota)

Yeah, they are really useful.  I've been using MCEdit recently for an adventure map that I've been making.  I honestly haven't made a lot of progress considering how long I've been working on it xD (I started in late October and could have been working on it from December 8 till this week, but I was too lazy xD)

Nice, on my next day off work, maybe you can help me figure out using some of these features and adventure maps? I may even be able to give one of yours a go! :)
