So I know this sounds corny as hell...but I want to get tattoos of soras' symbol(the crown), roxas' symbol(the x shaped symbol), and Rikus' symbol but I can't seem to find if riku has a legitimate symbol tied to him. On his keyblade it is the heartless symbol but in 3D he has the dream eater symbol. So which is it? Or is it none of the above? I really want to get these symbols tattooed because I not only grew up with this game but this game also helped me grow as well and each character represents a different aspect of myself. Anyways, I just wanted to give you some background so you know I'm not just 'bandwagoner' wasting your time and what not. Thank you so much for any and all help!

Well I don't think there really is a symbol tied to him. Not sure why there is a heartless symbol on way to dawn. But I'm pretty sure there was a dream eater symbol on it because he was Sora's dream eater.

 

All I can really think of is when he was taken over by Ansem in KH1. He had this symbol on his chest.

 

But yeah. That's all I can think of.

The "heartless" symbol has no bondage on it though. So, it makes it a different symbol entirely. So one could say that is his symbol.

I think the symbols are kinda cool, but just there for purposes unknown. It may have some significance later, but we don't know.

Square Enix at one point was selling charms for a charm bracelet... wait found something similar:

If I'm understanding Google translate's lack of grammar and sentence structure, the charms are titled "Mickey," "Crown of the Sky," and "Heart of the Land."

The charms I saw were actually titled Sora, Kairi, Riku, Roxas, Axel...

Not the DE symbol.  That was just cause he was in Sora's dream, outside of the dream worlds it has no meaning.  I don't think he has one, but if I have to

 

 <<< I'd go with the symbol Xaon posted, without the bounds it seems symbolic that Riku is no longer chained or controlled by darkness, but still uses darkness (hence why it's black and not like luminous blue or something)

The Kh wiki also says that the Heartless Emblem icon somewhat repesents Riku:
