I asked this girl that I respect to be my date for prom and she said she's already been asked. I thought I'd be sad or at least a little down but I didn't, in a way I'm happy for her and I only want her to be happy. Has anyone had this feeling before? Do I try to tell her that her happiness means a lot to me or will that sound strange? Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

That's a good feeling. I've had it before once or twice. If you want to tell her that then I think you should but don't feel required to.

Mmmm neither.... or both of them. You are the one who feeled it. People´s minds are different one from each other... the same goes to feelings... but if you are happy with it, don´t worry about if that´s normal or not. Just enjoy the moment... maybe...

It's a good feelin' It means you're not jealous, or a doochey guy that wants to be superior over others and win the girl and such.

P.S. I'm the insane one.Posted Image

That shows you care about that person a lot. It is your choice whether you want her to know that your happy she is happy. Just don't get to over protective, I lost a good friend for a long time that way. My advice though if the other dude is a jerk make sure to be there for her.

Putting others before yourself is a good thing feelings-wise. Up to you to tell or not.

It means that you have some pretty strong feelings for her. You should ask her out to a non-prom date sometime.
