Okay, so as the title implies, this topic is to discuss your favorite video game genres.  Personally, my favorite genre of games are role playing games, because one can be able to experience emotional and compelling stories with intriguing characters and lots of content to chew on.  RPG's have become a significant part of my life as a gamer, and I can't imagine a gaming world without RPG's.  They are essential!  To Kingdom Hearts, to Final Fantasy, to Pokemon, and to Zelda, I have a huge amount of respect for these colossal RPG giants.  My other runner up for favorite video game genre is Action/Adventure, such as is the case of the Assassin's Creed series.  So then guys, what genre of video games is your favorite?

I actually seem to have limited taste in games (and well, just about everything else too).

My preferred genre is RPG. Most of the games that I enjoy and play on a regular basis are RPGs. There are, of course, games from other genres I enjoy. However, I only have something resembling consistency in the RPG genre.
