It was a rainy day. A family was driving home. In the back seat sat two twins. One boy, one girl. Both were only five. Suddenly, their father lost control of the car and crashed. The parents died, but the twins lived. Sitting out in the rain, the girl cried, and the boy comforted her. A hooded man then approached them.

"I sense a strong prescence from them.... Maybe, just maybe, they can set the balance right. If I can make them become one being..."

The boy heard all of this, so he lunged at the man. The man sensed pure darkness from him before the boy ran away. As the girl cried, the man sensed pure light from her.

"One day.... Light and Dark shall become one again..." He carried the girl and took her to her new home.

Now, it's ten years later, and the war has reached its peak. Will Light and Dark become one, or will the worlds forevermore suffer in chaos?

"Where did my brother go?" the boy asked.

"Your brother...?" Hikaru questioned.

"Yeah, the champion," the boy said. "... Well, I'm pretty sure that it was him. If you meet him, tell him I'm looking for him, okay? His name is Reoe." He then ran off.

"It wasn't his brother. I'm going to kill that guy someday." Lillian said to herself angry.

A sudden thought came to Hikaru. Roee... X... Equals Xeroe...! However, she didn't tell Lilian of this, not in the mood that she was in.

"You didn't see him?" Lillian asked more calm.

  • Author

"I saw him during the match," Hikaru began, "but as soon as it was over, you two just vanished off the stage."

"We didn't vanish, we were here." Lillian said looking at Hikaru.

"Vanish, teleport, same difference," Hikaru sighed. "Let's go look for information. The notes said that Kurai lived in a world called Destiny Islands. We can see if anyone heard of such a place."

"He said that no one here knew about the existence of other worlds. It's no use looking."

Hikaru sighed. "What now...?"

"Other worlds?" The boy was back. "I don't anything about worlds, but there's this special train that's supposed to go to the greatest wizard in the world!"

Xeroe came out of the portal, walking onto the shore of Destiny Islands. "Stupid girl," he muttered. "It makes me glad that the major difference between us is our existences, me having the better end." He attempted to grin, but his headache got the best of him...

"Can you lead us to the place where we can get that train kid?" Lillian asked friendly to the boy.

"Yeah!" the boy said, grinning. He led them to the train station. "You have to buy a ticket," the boy explained. "I could come, but..." He pointed to a sign that said NO KIDS UNDER 10 WITHOUT PARENT OR GUARDIAN. "I'll see ya around!" He ran off.

Xeroe entered the shack that he was allowed to sleep in. Clutching his head, he witnessed all of Roee's memories pass through his head again. "Stupid kid..." he muttered as he sat on the bed. "I'm gonna suffer with this headache now..."

"Kid!!! Come back,we can take you." said Lillian going after the boy.

But the boy was already long gone.

"Like he said," Hikaru said, "we'll see him around. Come on."

"Ok,lets buy the tickets,do you have any money?"

  • Author

"No..." Hikaru said sheeply, "... but we can still hitch a ride..."

"Yeah, come on,lets go." said Lillian heading to the train.

It was barely crowded inside the plaza. Hikaru noticed a funny-looking train. Suddenly, its horn let a shrill cry. "Let's go!!" she exclaimed as she dashed for the train.

"Ok." Lillian followed Hikaru.

Just as the doors closed, they both got on on time. "Phew..." Hikaru sighed, slightly laughing.

"We made it, now it's just see where this train will take us."

  • Author

"Right," Hikaru agreed. She looked outside the window, observing the landscape.

"How much do you think this will take?" asked Lillian sitting and observing.

  • Author

"I don't kn-- Are we in space?!" Hikaru was amazing. They finally stopped at a tower.

"Come on, lets take a look." said Lillian getting out.

She opened the door to the tower and the first thing that she saw was the grand staircase. ".... That's... a lot of stairs..."
