It was a rainy day. A family was driving home. In the back seat sat two twins. One boy, one girl. Both were only five. Suddenly, their father lost control of the car and crashed. The parents died, but the twins lived. Sitting out in the rain, the girl cried, and the boy comforted her. A hooded man then approached them.

"I sense a strong prescence from them.... Maybe, just maybe, they can set the balance right. If I can make them become one being..."

The boy heard all of this, so he lunged at the man. The man sensed pure darkness from him before the boy ran away. As the girl cried, the man sensed pure light from her.

"One day.... Light and Dark shall become one again..." He carried the girl and took her to her new home.

 

Now, it's ten years later, and the war has reached its peak. Will Light and Dark become one, or will the worlds forevermore suffer in chaos?

"Don't be lazy, lets go up." said Lillian going up the stairs.

Hikaru sighed as she followed Lillian...

 

10 minutes later....

 

"Are you sure we haven't passed this same spot before?" Hikaru whined, STILL walking up the stairs.

"You're too lazy Hikaru, adn we didn't pass this spot."

Hikaru pointed to a step that she marked an X on a while ago. "I definitely think we passed this spot already."

"Ok,lets find another way."

Hikaru looked down the steps. Something about it seemed... strange. "... Lily," she began, "what if the way up... is down...?"

 

(( Gasp! I make a Looking Glass reference?! 8D ))

** "It's worth try it." said Lillian going down.

Hikaru went down the steps. Suddenly, they were on a floor that they haven't passed. "... My idea worked...?" she said. "Cool!"

"That's a pretty difficult thing, look, you could think something that worked!" said Lillian in a playful tone.

Hikaru grinned before staring at the sole door there. She tried opening it, but it wouldn't budge.

"Hikaru, don't you ever learn?" Lillian said getting her sword and hitting the door that broke "See? That's how you go in locked rooms."

"Uh...?" Hikaru wasn't so sure. When they walked through the door, they found themselves.... in the room they were just in. The broken door was still in front of them.

"Why does this always have to happen?"

"Maybe... this place is set up with riddles... to secure the tower."

"Ok,so now what?"

Hikaru noticed the lock on the door. Lock.... Key..... Hikaru summoned her Keyblade and pointed it at the door. Suddenly, a ray of light came from the Keyblade and connected. There was a click. "... Did it work...?" Hikaru asked.

"I think so.Lets try." Lillian said going in.

Hikaru saw as Lilian opened the door. It worked!

Hikaru walked in. It looked like a tidy office. "Hello? Is anybody here?"

*Yeah! I was missing this thread* Lillian went in and looked around "I don't think there's someone in here."

Suddenly, a voice spoke up. "Who dares enter?"

Hikaru jumped slightly at the sudden outburst. "S-Sorry," she spoke up. "We just wanted to ask some questions."

A puff of smoke appeared, and approaching from it was an elderly man with a long beard and a tall dark blue hat. He crossed his arms and slightly smirked, saying, "Then ask away, Key Bearer."

"Wait a minute, who are you?" *she's so polite *

"I am Master Yen Sid, the master of all magic," the old man answered. "And you two are Hikaru and Lilian, are you not?"

Hikaru gasped. "How'd you know that?!"

"I have my reasons," Yen Sid said, slighly chuckling, "or, moreso, connections."
