Luigi's Mansion DM Rare glitch?

So I started up D-1 Cold Case because I just unlocked it last night. Now I wake up, and start it up. In the basin, I have sucked all the ghosts, and Toad is cheering. But I can't pick him up, push him, or get him to follow me. I can't blind him, and on IGN. I was hoping to see

 

NOTE: There is a glitch were Toad becomes uninteractible.

 

...Sucks. I think I need to restart the mission I think. BTW, I have my 3DS here by my side so...

    The thing is, I can't leave the room. It may be he was on ice because I think he's scared of ice like the last Toad with clocks.
