catmaster0116 2,676 Posted April 5, 2013 Hihi All Its been a while since I posted any musical creations. I've been pretty depressed and stressed with work recently so I decided to lift my mood by covering a song by Jay Chou (Chinese Artist), sorry its not a KH song this time. The song's name is called "Ju Hua Tai" or "A bed of Chrysanthemum flowers" which is the ending theme to the film "Curse of the Golden Flowers". I want to hope that i can return to youtube someday and bring tears of awe to your eyes with the magic of music. Whether or not you like chinese pop, please do have a listen and I hope it somehow makes you happy or gives you inspiration - The Piano and Vocals were both recorded live at the same time, the Violin track was recorded separately. Chrysanthemum Terrace I used to be a big Jay Chou fan back when I was a highschooler Lyrics translation: Your delicate tears glistened with hurt like the pale curved moon hooked to the past.As the long night forms into frostI wonder who is in the attic despairing alone Drizzling rain gently caresses the crimson window Along with the wind which sweeps away my life like a stack of paper The dream in the distance changes into a trace of fragranceinto with the wind, it fades with your silhouette Chorus========== The flowers scattered on the ground, your smile contrasting into hurtJust as flowers fall, people get heartbroken - my silent anxietyThe north wind blows in the eternal night Your wavering image cannot be pierced (?from my heart?).Alone I am left once again, but our shadows dance on the lake surface becoming a wondrous couple Thanks for taking time to listen ~ Very appreciated :') 1 Weiss reacted to this
