Somewhat based off Tomb Raider (2013)

 

Story

You are traveling with others on a cruise ship for vacation. During your vacation, the ship sails into the Dragon’s Triangle, east of Japan and is suddenly struck by a sudden violent storm. The ship starts to get badly damaged and everything flashes before your eyes. The next thing you know, you wake up on a stranded island with none of the other passengers in sight. Also this stranded island holds many secrets that were hidden from the world for centuries. With danger lurking around every corner, will you survive to find a way off this island or will you perish without the hopes of anybody ever finding you?

Basics:

-there are other people on this island besides the survivors with guns, so guns are allowed

-you'll obtain your weapon a little later on after the RP has started

-you start off alone in the RP but you will come across other survivors from the ship wreck eventually

Rules:

~KH13 RP rules and guidelines apply

~if your character dies, you can make more, just don’t go too crazy

~There will be gore but don’t get too crazy with it

~ Keep romance at PG14

Personality: a level minded and calm girl. She has a phobia for blood and Isn't the best when it comes to getting used to new people

Weapon (s): machete and bow-and-arrow

 

 

"Yeah I'm fine but..." She stopped and looked at Derik's tail in front of her. "Are you sure you don't want to pull me up with your hand. I may end up ripping your tail off." She grimaced at the thought of falling to her death if his tail were to rip off. Ryu's machete loosened from the wall a bit and she started to panic a bit. "Hurry! It's not going to stay in that much longer!" 

"My tail is the only thing long enough! Just hurry up!" Derik yelled. "it won't rip, trust me!"

Ryu grabbed on and placed her machete into her pocket. She was then flung upward and out of the pit, land on top of Marisa. "Ow.." They both muttered. "Okay, can we just watch out for booby traps? I don't want to be repeatedly crushed by Ryu's body weight." She said and pushed Ryu off of her. Ryu muttered under her breath and looked down into the pit. So there's actually people living here, but how and why?

Ryu grabbed on and placed her machete into her pocket. She was then flung upward and out of the pit, land on top of Marisa. "Ow.." They both muttered. "Okay, can we just watch out for booby traps? I don't want to be repeatedly crushed by Ryu's body weight." She said and pushed Ryu off of her. Ryu muttered under her breath and looked down into the pit. So there's actually people living here, but how and why?

"Well, in any place, there are going to be natives, in example, the America's had Native American's, which were dubbed "Indians" by Columbus." Jaze walked over to the group. "And in any case, they don't look too happy to have guest." He looked into the spiked pit. "Maybe they fear people who may want to take something from them?" Jaze pulled away from the hole.

"Ow... Well, at least you're OK now Ryu. But yeah, lets watch for traps." Derik stood up, massaging his tail a little. "I can't pick you up, Jaze. We all know your too heavy."

"Says the kid wearing an giant steel coat."

"... Just shut up old man."

"Not like I want to waist my breath on you." He was a bit grumpy. "Lets go." He started walking through the woods.

"Wait for me!" Derik followed close.

Ryu and Marisa both got off the ground and followed after the two. After walking a while, something came across their path and they all stopped walking. The same girl, about ten years old, in a white dress with long black hair was standing in their path. Marisa tilted her head to the side in confusion. "Um...who is this kid again?" she whispered to Ryu. Before she could respond, the small girl pulled out a pistol from behind her, her eyes gleaming red. "You invaded my island..." she muttered. "I want you gone..."

Ryu and Marisa both got off the ground and followed after the two. After walking a while, something came across their path and they all stopped walking. The same girl, about ten years old, in a white dress with long black hair was standing in their path. Marisa tilted her head to the side in confusion. "Um...who is this kid again?" she whispered to Ryu. Before she could respond, the small girl pulled out a pistol from behind her, her eyes gleaming red. "You invaded my island..." she muttered. "I want you gone..."

Jaze pulled out a random bottle of beer he was saving and opened it. "Well, that escalated quickly. Look, kid. We are not here by choice. Long story short, our ship was wrecked and its possible that we're the only survivors. If you will be willing to give us food and a ship, I'm certain we can get off the island with no more confrontation." Jaze said, trying to negotiate for his life.

The girl snickered, and shot at Jaze's beer bottle, ignoring mostly everything that he just said. "I said get out..." she growled. Marisa pushed past Ryu and planted her hands on her hips. "Look kid, i don't know what kind of anger issues you have but we're stranded here!" Ryu pulled on Marisa's arm. "Did you already forget that the girl is armed with a gun!?" she whispered harshly

As the bottle shattered, Jaze let a few tears loose. "My beer..."

"Didn't you listen to Old Man Jaze? We can't leave without supplies and a boat!" Derik said. "Unless you want people to drown, I would suggest being less of a brat and more of a human!"

"......." The girl lowered her gun and sat there in silence for a moment. Then she turned around and walked into the shadows. "Don't walk away when somebody is talking to you!" Marisa screamed and made her way towards the small child. Her foot got caught in a rop trap and she was hanging upside down from a tree. "Argh, this isn't funny! Get me down from here!" she yelled but the girl was soon gone. Ryu crossed her arms and sighed. "We're probably going to run into that girl later on so don't waste your breath." 

"......." The girl lowered her gun and sat there in silence for a moment. "I haven't had a beer in over a year... I WANTED TO DRINK THAT!" He fell back onto the floor, groaning. "Raen, just drag me out of here, okay?"

"Your crazy old man. But fine-" He grabbed Jaze by the ankle again. "Well, the two of you ready to get going?" he asked.

Marisa huffed, with her arms crossed and looked down at Derik. "What does it look like, genius?" she said, still hanging by a rope from the tree. Ryu started to make her way up the tree and she took out her machete and cut Marisa loose from the rope. She landed hard on her feet. "Okay, now I'm ready." She smiled and started walking past the others and deeper into the woods. Ryu narrowed her eyes as she made her way down the tree. "Your welcome.." she muttered

Marisa huffed, with her arms crossed and looked down at Derik. "What does it look like, genius?" she said, still hanging by a rope from the tree. Ryu started to make her way up the tree and she took out her machete and cut Marisa loose from the rope. She landed hard on her feet. "Okay, now I'm ready." She smiled and started walking past the others and deeper into the woods. Ryu narrowed her eyes as she made her way down the tree. "Your welcome.." she muttered

"Sorry, I thought you were up there on purpose or something..." He continued to drag Jaze through the woods as he was being a whine-y baby about a bottle of beer. "if you go out in the woods today you might be in for a surprise, if you go out to the woods today you may never see the sun shine, because the leafs will take up the rays and all the days."

"That's creepy, Derik."

"Well, that's what my mom always sung to me if we went to the woods."

"Okay then."

"Right..." Marisa muttered and felt something crack under her feet. She instantly jumped back a few inches. "Nonono, i am not getting caught in another trap." she growled. Ryu cocked her head to the side. "I don't think that's a trap.." she said and went to go pick the object up, the charcoal sticking to her fingers. It was a burnt piece of wood and it was still warm. Marisa was going to say something else but Ryu walked past her, and pushed the bushes back past her. Behind them was a few log houses and a main campfire in the middle of them with a small dim fire. Marisa peeked from behind her. "So that's where that girl is probably living.....LET'S GO TEACH THAT BRAT A LESS-" Ryu whacked her on the head with the burnt stick. "You idiot, keep your voice down."

"Right..." Marisa muttered and felt something crack under her feet. She instantly jumped back a few inches. "Nonono, i am not getting caught in another trap." she growled. Ryu cocked her head to the side. "I don't think that's a trap.." she said and went to go pick the object up, the charcoal sticking to her fingers. It was a burnt piece of wood and it was still warm. Marisa was going to say something else but Ryu walked past her, and pushed the bushes back past her. Behind them was a few log houses and a main campfire in the middle of them with a small dim fire. Marisa peeked from behind her. "So that's where that girl is probably living.....LET'S GO TEACH THAT BRAT A LESS-" Ryu whacked her on the head with the burnt stick. "You idiot, keep your voice down." 

Jaze shushed them both. "We need to get out of here, she has a pistol, we have two swords, a knife, and a machete. Our chances are far too low."

Derik quietly interjected. "Old man has a point, its unsafe. Besides, we can probably find some longer range equipment farther down, or maybe a riot shield or something."

"Woo hoo, a Call of Duty reference, whoever writes your bits must be a COD fan.." Jaze commented back.

Marisa narrowed her eyes and walked past them. "It can't be that bad. " She looked at some of the windows to see that the houses were empty and dusty. "See? Nobody's here. Doesn't hurt to go looking around here before they come back." Seeing that it was too late to stop Marisa, Ryu sighed and said "Fine but let's just hurry up and pass through here quickly. This could be a trap for all we know." 

Marisa narrowed her eyes and walked past them. "It can't be that bad. " She looked at some of the windows to see that the houses were empty and dusty. "See? Nobody's here. Doesn't hurt to go looking around here before they come back." Seeing that it was too late to stop Marisa, Ryu sighed and said "Fine but let's just hurry up and pass through here quickly. "Or maybe they will fed a kitty!" Derik started prancing down the field to the house. "What am I gonna do with his crazy cat self Ryu?" Jaze asked. "I'm starting to get tired of his antics..."

"We can always eat him..." Ryu muttered and Marisa looked up from another house she was examining. "Hey! We can't eat cat boy!" she said and Ryu waved her hand. "Yeah, yeah whatever." Marisa narrowed her eyes at her and looked down to see something shining in the dirt. She bent down and brushed the dirt away to see that it was a pistol. "Ohh hell yes.." she said to herself and grinned. "I wonder if it's loaded." 

"We can always eat him..." Ryu muttered and Marisa looked up from another house she was examining. "Hey! We can't eat cat boy!" she said and Ryu waved her hand. "Yeah, yeah whatever." Marisa narrowed her eyes at her and looked down to see something shining in the dirt. She bent down and brushed the dirt away to see that it was a pistol. "Ohh hell yes.." she said to herself and grinned. "I wonder if it's loaded." 

"EAT ME! NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!" Derik screamed as he jumped into the thick foliage. 

"Great job, Ryu! If he gest skewered, Ray will have me on a plate... I'll be back after I find him." Jaze sighed, walking away. "Ryu was only kidding! Come on back, Derik! I know your just scared to be turned into cat ribs with barbaque, like in that nightmare you had last week!" Jaze trudged into the forest, looking for little 'ol Derik.

Ryu sighed as she watched Jaze walk off back into the woods. Marisa popped her head up from behind a house and came to her with a study looking bow and some arrows. "Hey look what I found. You can have this bow-and-arrow junk. I'm not good with archery at all..." She said while handing the items to Ryu. "I found some ammo for this gun though. Isn't that grea- uhh where's the other two?" Ryu slung the bow over her back with the arrows and pointed towards the woods. Marisa looked a bit confused but there was muttering coming their way. Ryu quickly pulled the both of them into a nearby bush that was big enough to cover them and they watched as some unfamiliar people came into the area. One of those people was that little girl they encountered earlier. Marisa was about to jump out but Ryu quickly pulled her back and placed her hand over her mouth. The girl looked around for a bit then the angry expression came to her face. "Where's my gun...?" she muttered and both Ryu and Marisa looked down to see the pistol Marisa found was sitting on her belt. "There were intruders here. All of my stuff is out of order." A male in his late teens said. They all had red piercing eyes and seemed to be ready to kill at any moment. Dammit, this isn't good, Ryu thought as her eyes darted around for a way to escape

A small, charcoal colored cat bounced into the front yard where the people were. "Meow!" It cried, running around with a rusted pistol in mouth. It wasn't the one Marissa found, but it looked a lot like it. The little charcoal cat dropped it in front of the little girl, moving over to the house, it moved around a few things, messing with the stuff around the camp. Jaze came from behind, grabbing Marissia and Ryu, covering there mouths, he pulled them back quietly for a few minutes. "Derik, despite his fear of being eaten, is covering for us. How he turns into a total cat, I don't know, but he doesn't stay like that for long. We need a plan now."

Marisa pulled Jaze's hand away from her face. "Someone turning into a cat..is that even physically possible?!" she hissed. Ryu stayed silent, staring at the camp area where those strangers were. She put her fingers to her mouth and whistled, signaling Derik to come to where they were. He came running and hopped into Marisa's arms. "Aww, can he stay like this forve-" She started to say and Ryu snatch the gun from Marisa's belt and swiftly shot at the girl's leg. "Meow meow mowwww!" Derik cried. "Mow mow meooow!"

"I know, Derik, you want the salmon I promised you. Just wait for a little as we get away from those people." He was sitting criss-crossed in the air and drinking a cup of tea. "I love being a scientist so that I can learn how to defy normal laws. Anyway, to answer your questions, one, normally, no. But this IS the bloodline of impossible people, so it is entirely possible factoring that in. And no, he may stay like that for a long time, a short time, but never permanently."

"Mow Meow mow mow mow." Derik said, although in cat language.

"Well it's not like that will be helpful any time soon." Jaze shot back sarcastically.

"MOW!" Derik yelled back.

"Oh, yeah!? Well then, put em up, wise guy!"

After getting a good amount of distance away from the area, Ryu let them go and she sat down to catch her breath. "Hey, no need to be fighting a defenseless cat."' Marisa said, holding Derik away from Jaze. Marisa held Derik out in front of her. "So how long is he going to be staying like this?" she asked

"Could be years, could be minutes. No one knows at all. Its entirely random." Jaze replied. "And he had it coming! We all know he did!"

Marisa narrowed her eyes. "Well whatever, just no harming the cat." The sun was setting down into the horizon and night fall was going to come soon. Ryu looked up. "We need to find someplace to sleep soon before it gets to dark to see anything." "Can't we just go back to camp by the beach or something?" Ryu shook her head. "No, it's too far from where we are to make it there." Ryu got up to her feet. "We should get going."

Marisa narrowed her eyes. "Well whatever, just no harming the cat." The sun was setting down into the horizon and night fall was going to come soon. Ryu looked up. "We need to find someplace to sleep soon before it gets to dark to see anything." "Can't we just go back to camp by the beach or something?" Ryu shook her head. "No, it's too far from where we are to make it there." Ryu got up to her feet. "We should get going."

"He says our best bet is proabbly by making a small set of well hidden vine beds and sleeping there tonight. For once, he actually has a good point." Jaze said, Derik sitting up strait and purring a little with a happy look. "Don't let it get to your head, though! Probably the only one you'll ever have." Jaze said sarcastically, laughing, but Derik just sunk his claws into Jaze's leg. "OW OW OW!" He fell onto the ground.
