Hello everyone. It's been a few years since i've played BBS, and nostalgia hit me hard when I went back and started a fresh beginning. It saddens me to see that no one is playing on adhoc party anymore. Kinda breaks my heart since i remember a lot of fond memories. So, I figured I'd start a facebook page and perhaps find a few people who wanna play online again. I hope this isn't considered spam, since I'd like to welcome you all to the adhoc party facebook page. I have detailed information on how to play online, and hope that some of you may find some interest in it.

Haha, one of the biggest and only flaws that I see in BBS. They honestly should have made this brilliant game for the ps3. The graphics are just that good too. Should have made multiple ports for the game in my opinion! Btw, you and a friend can play on the same ps3 through adhoc party. One ps3 doesn't mean only one person can play adhoc. Multiple people can. Hence, once my friend starts playing the series, we'll be playing on my ps3 and hoping to find others to join us.

I was personally okay with BBS being on PSP, of course, I might be saying that because it's the reason why I ended up buying the system. xD It's the reason why I played a lot of great games on the system. It was actually originally meant to be a PS2 game, which would've been interesting, I think. That one wouldn't really work for me either, as I don't really have any friends with both BBS and a PS3. ._. I personally would have liked it if PSP had better online multiplayer capabilities. NDS didn't require a Wii to go online for multiplayer games, I never got why PSP did. I like both systems, by the way, not favoring one over the other here.

I agree with many of the points you've made. It was because of BBS that i bought a psp and thus began playing many other brilliant games like Dissidia. I too do not understand why in God's green earth that square enix could not make the psp have a better infrastructure mode. They certainly have the money to do so.

Well, it's Sony's decision as to how the multiplayer is set up. I guess they decided to limit it on PSP, possibly to promote sales of PS3s or something. Of course, Sony definitely had enough money also, given the fact that they produce gaming systems and other electronic devices, they surely had some that could have been used to improve the PSP's online capabilities.I still don't see why it couldn't do online multiplayer when I can still connect to the Playstation store just fine, though. Also, Dissidia's the game I was mostly thinking of when I mentioned other games. xD

Ah good point, it is sony. Ya, Dissidia helped me wait for BBS to come on. God, I love that game. Spent hundreds of hours, and the online play was hilarious. I even uploaded quite a few on my youtube page. Good stuff. In all honesty, I am craving some online play. I'm the type of person who's shy, so making a facebook page to promote an online community is a lot for me xD Especially trying to promote the page to other people on the web.

I actually didn't get my PSP until last year, so I got BBS and Dissidia right off the bat, along with FFIV: Complete Collection, all three of which are great games. I've put about 200 hours into Dissidia already, I love the game. Once again, I'd love to try online play on that one, too. I've never really tried promoting an online community like that before, the most I've done is make a Steam page for a gaming team a friend and I formed, that's it, really.

Axel, you gotta try Final Fantasy Crisis Core too. The ending to that game made me cry, I can't even pick it up for a second play through because of how emotionally touched i was.

Dude, wait for KH 2.5. It will have BBSFM probably, and Square won't get rid of an entire world for just Online connection reasons, so they'll probably make it so you can play online too with friends on PSN. Im pretty sure about that.

As much as I'd love to believe your statement, its all heresay. Nomura didn't say he'd develop 2.5, he's not obligated to. Even if he did make, it'd be another two years at the least. Wherever you're getting your information, you should credit it, because I've checked on it multiple times already.

Well Square tends to make use of the system's capabilities over and over. Im pretty sure most of the people on here would agree with me on that. I even made a thread asking if people thought that BBS's Mirage Arena would probably get Online PSN Network gameplay, and alot of them said yes. But i forgot where i posted it. Probably in the General and Future discussion thread.

If I had stable internet and still had a psp I would join. Unfortunately that is not the case. Let's hope Square fixes this with the 2.5 HD ReMIX

I bought that one a few months ago, I really loved it. I cried a bit (Silent cry, but still a cry), first game to ever make me do so. I'm not sure why I haven't done a second playthrough yet, though... It just doesn't feel right for some reason, maybe because of the ending? I know that emotions aren't the complete answer...

For me, it eas the ending that done it. If i were to play again, it'll just be a big build of what I know is to come... I don't want to see Zack

Die again. I just don't want to see it. He literally became my favorite character of nearly all time.

I'd sadly spoiled it beforehand, so I wasn't as emotional as I could have been. Zack is definitely one of my favorite game characters ever though, and seeing that was really emotional. Even though I saw it coming, it still hit really hard. That's a great example of Square Enix's excellent story telling, if you ask me.
