Yeah, I know. Atlantica has become a dirty word for a lot of KH fans. I personally blame the original songs that were written for the game. I don't believe that "Finny" is a proper adjective with which to describe "fun."
But I will confess that I loved when they used the songs from the movie. "Part of Your World" practically embodies the wanderlust that drives Sora, Riku, and Kairi in the first place, emphasizing the desire to explore new horizons and have all worlds connected, for the sake of adventure curiosity, and other desires. "Under the Sea" is a nice, fun song that matches Sora's personality: he's just having fun with where he is and what he's doing.
Here's the thing: if there's one thing that Disney and Final Fantasy have always done right, in spite of anything else they might have screwed up, it's the music. The songs from the movies and games are staples in popular culture. Everyone knows at least one Disney song that they can hum with some degree of pleasure. Also, the thing that Disney always did right with their songs is that they place them at moments of high emotion, using the music to embellish the character's feelings and allow the audience to become more attached to the story. Final Fantasy is the same way: the music they use always seems to hammer home an emotional spike into the heart (You're Not Alone, anyone?) And given the rapidity of emotional moments in KH, I think you could put a lot of those feelings to music, and the audience would sympathize.
I personally wouldn't mind another music themed world in KH3, providing they did it right. What I imagine is a world that updates as the story goes on, and as each character encounters their own moments of emotional peaking, a level would open up for them and they could pour their hearts out. Gameplay could be more like Theatrythm, where the player is matching the beats and tempo rapidly, matching whatever feeling the song is going for, and how they do will match how the characters perform. It wouldn't be a mandatory level, just something fun thrown in.

I don't know, just something I thought of.
