Now i know what you're thinking, it can't be true but after you look at this list you will believe how important beaches are to video games just like Pb and J they work best together as this list will show.

Exhibit A: Persona 4

 

Before Persona 4, Persona 3 took a crack at the beach again it led to one of best moments in the game

Exhibit B: Persona 3

 

Even one of the highest reviewed games of the year had beach scene, coincidence i think not

Exhibit C: Bioshock Infinite

 

Another highly reviewed game this year, had a beach scene. Seems little suspicious

Exhibit D: Ni No Kuni

 

Even the best Mgs game, had something to with the beach and as well giving some nice eye candy.

Exhibit E: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

 

Even Nathan Drake goes to the beach and relaxes at local beach bar

Exhibit F: Uncharted 2

 

Mario even uses the beach to relax and sleeps his cares away

Exhibit G: Super Mario Sunshine

 

And who could forget our next pick, they live on the beach for heaven sakes

The beach area in BioShock Infinite was a pretty great place.

Part 2

Now after Capcom found out traditional Mega man lack beach scene, it was first in talks to be added to Mega man X over everything else

Exhibit 1: Megaman X

But since can't find picture that works, some here's one from some mega man comic

This game was really about Beach resort that had gone horribly wrong

 Exhibit 9: Tomb Raider

 

My next pick, Picked very nice day to go to the beach and best type of sand is 8-bits cause it ain't real.

My next picks is actually a beach, we just don't see the water.

This game while it never had beach level in the actual game, it was in concept but due to tricky water and sand physics they had to take it out ( the last half was made up fact)

Due to raising cost of house building, people have decided to instead building perfect house on the beach they just make it in this game

The worst part of living at beach is that sometimes crazy shit happens
