Before anyone decides to bash on me because they think Vanitas is dead, move on with your lifes, yada yada yada, READ the whole thing before posting, otherwise don't bother posting so no fights or arugments break out.

 

Something tells me that Vanitas will appear in the games. Who knows how, but something just tells. I mean, yes he's badass, but that's not why.

 

Now I realize this while playing the KH series...Nomura never kills any characters off, or at least not easily, even new ones. They are reappear in any way. I'll give you an example of it.

 

Characters can usually reapear, and can reapear in any shape or form, and I'm not talking about memories or flashbacks. For example, Lea chronologically appears in Birth By Sleep, eleven years before KH2, and then in KH2, he chronologically reappears as Axel, making this point proven. It also goes with Xehanort. Master Xehanort (BBS), then "Ansem" AKA Xehanort's Heartless (KHI), and finally Xemnas (KHII). Other examples are the Disney villains, Ventus, etc. Not only that, we all thought Xion was killed off, but she wasn't, which proves it. They are never killed off. Only reappeared.

 

It should apply to Vanitas, especially since he only made one appearence. Either he needs to reappear or have a successor.

 

Not only that, it feels weird that he was destroyed. Yeah he faded out of exisitance and bring back balance to Ventus' heart when he destroys him, but it is that it of him? I think it's possible to be reborn, whether it's from Sora or even Ventus' heart again. I like to think that possibility.

 

But I leave this question for you to decide. Is Vanitas coming back anytime soon, or is he the first character (plus an orginal character created by Nomura) to leave the series?

I got a bit of a wild idea: Vanitas will join forces with Pete & Maleficent. Why? Well basically I'm thinking if Vanitas comes back he'll be more Sora's rival than Ven's, I mean he basically is an evil version of Sora. So I figure if Sora has Donald & Goofy as party members then Vanitas could maybe have a party of his own & Pete/Malie fit the bill perfectly.

Probably, but Xehanort also has to join in, to make it seem...less ackward.

If Xehanort didnt join forces with Maleficent Pete and Vanitas, then Master Xehanort would probably try to kill Vanitas because he would think that he betrayed him

Ok I agree with this except for one thing. You say Nomura never kills off characters, but what about Xemnas? He IS gone. He can't come back either. But other than that I agree that Vanitas will most likely come back.

Van's coming back. Don't know how or why...but he'll come back in some form. who knows maybe in order to rescue Ven, He has to sacrifise himself. Sora then sacrifises himself agin,and insted of becoming a heartless, he is reborn as Vanitas. OR DCuch is in the next KH Game,voicing Vanitas in som form,maybe a secrect apprence that Terranort creates,has been in hibernation,and is basiclly the essace of Vanitas. maybe hsi/her name is Satinav (Vanitas spelled backwards) to appear in KH3 withc well be the end of the Xehanort Arc.
