Wolves had a legend that, "The smell of a flower that would lead to paradise". That they could throw out their packs. But soon, wolves started being hunted by the humans. Some were kept as pets, others were put to work by their own fellow wolves. But they were soon not sited again..... The humans have been hunting wolves for years, saying their nothing but unwanted beast... People believe that wolves are no longer alive and have been dead for years, but, wolves have been around them for a very long time... They have blended in with the humans.... Because all their land was burned to the ground.. All the woods... All the animals... Gone. But lately, the smell of flowers have been going around...

Personality: A Nice and Funny person. She makes people laugh, but she does get very mad when people try to hurt her or someone she loves. If someone does hurt her or someone she loves, she turns into a monster. She's very strong and very fast.

Aurora was eating some bacon and eggs by the time she heard a knock at her door. She got up from her couch and she walked over to her door and opened it to see the boy from last night.

 

"Oh. Hello again." Aurora muttered.

"Hello." What should I say to her... should I just tell her immediately how I feel? Connor was starting to sweat a little, his eyes going a tad wide, and a bale forming in this throat that he felt he would need to swallow soon.

 

"May I come in?" Connor then asked, swallowing that same bale, though discreetly.

Aurora blinked.

 

'He doesn't look bad... But I could kill him in case...' She thought.

 

"Um, sure. Come in." She said and opened the door for him to walk in.

"Thank you," he said, walking in on cue. He studied the house that Aurora lived in, and noticed that it pointed out some signs. Signs that led Connor to assume something. She can't be... can she? Assumption aside, he decided to put that thought on hold and wait until Aurora was more comfortable with him.

 

"I apologize for my rather strange behavior from last night," Connor then said. "Please... I would like for us to talk."

Aurora nodded slightly.

 

"Okay. Sit anywhere." She said. "Would you like something to drink?"

"Yes, please. A glass of water, if you wouldn't mind," Connor said respectfully, bowing a little before going to a nearby couch and sitting down. In his place, he replayed the thoughts he had swirling around in his mind. So... this girl looks like her... and she might be like me... what a coincidence. I must ask her about this soon... He was beginning to be more calm in his manner..

Aurora walked into the kitchen and got the boy a cup of water. She walked back into the room and gave the boy the water.

 

"Hmm... First things first. You never told me your name." Aurora said, sitting down on a chair next to the couch.

"Ah yes," Connor replied, taking a sip of his water. "My name is Connor."

Aurora nodded and sat down in a chair next to the couch, she smiled slightly.

 

'Connor... He might not be bad after all. But.....' Aurora thought to herself then shook it off.

 

"What did you want to talk about?" She asked.

"Well, Aurora..." Connor felt his insides go soft. "I wanted to speak to you because..." He found it difficult to look the girl in her eyes. "You see... I... " He was struggling to find the exact words to use. Eventually, he came to grips with himself and decided just to let it out.

 

"Aurora... I have visions. I have visions of my past because I cannot remember it. My mind is a blank slate, a book with nothing written on the pages. I've struggled to find out who I am and what my purpose is in this world... and well... Aurora... you... you remind me of the one person I always remember in my visions. It's the only thing that's not blurry or confusing..."

 

"Aurora... you look like... my mother."

Aurora blinked, surprised.

 

'His mother?' She thought.

 

"I... Look like your mother?" Aurora asked, shocked. She had no idea of what else to say to that, for she was at a loss of words.

"Yes. You do. And... I can't help that you and I... have some sort of connection because of that... " Connor stood up. "Aurora, would you mind if I showed you something?"

Aurora shook her head.

 

"No.. What is it?" Aurora asked.

Connor did not speak as he closed his eyes. He then quickly changed into his wolf form, the first time he has in front of a human.

 

"You see... I'm not really human. I'm a wolf."

Aurora's eyes widened and she got up quickly. She wasn't scared at all. She was shocked as hell. She quickly went to the windows and closed them with the curtains. She then walked back over to Connor and went into her own wolf form. The strange blue markings on her pelt were bright, even with the windows closed. She walked over to him and licked his muzzle as thanks.

 

"Don't worry Connor. Your secret is safe with me." She said.

Connor was shocked to feel Aurora lick his muzzle. Even her taste is warm... and... 

 

Connor found himself closing his eyes and resting his neck against hers. "Thank you... I... I know that we're connected somehow. I can feel it in my bones. Please... will you please help me?"

Aurora nodded.

 

"I'll do the best I can." She said. She was secretly happy, happy that she finally found someone like her.

Connor smiled. He felt so relieved. After wandering for many years at a time, he finally found the one he was looking for: the one who would help him find his meaning, his past... and all in all... the one that would stand by his side.

 

"Thank you so much..." Connor thanked, licking Auror's muzzle, as a return for her lick.

Aurora wagged her tail and pulled away.

 

"Your welcome." She said sweetly.

Connor smiled back and turned into his human form. Sitting on the couch, he took a breath. "You know... I think for the first time in my life... I truly feel happy."

Aurora turned into her human form also and sat down next to him.

 

"I have to admit... I feel the same way." She said.

Connor looked her in the eyes. "Do you really?"

She smiled.

 

"Yes. I'm happy I finally found someone just like me." Aurora said. It was the truth. It had been 11 years since she last saw another wolf.

Connor looked to the ground. "You and I are the same. We are... alone." Connor could feel his eyes water, but still keeping his calm manner even as he went to cover his eyes.

Aurora blinked then frowned slightly and looked down.

 

"You know..... My pack abandoned me, when I was just a pup..." Aurora muttered. "They didn't want me to get killed by the hunters..."

 

She clenched her jaw and clenched her hands into fists.
