so basically I'm about to hit the league in pkmn Heartgold, First time taking on the league, so I got a couple questions and wanna see what your opinions are.

 

1. Should I replace Togetic w/ Pidgeot? (Togetic is lvl 43 and knows fly, ancientpower, extrasensory and metronome) (I havent evolved Pidgeotto yet)

 

2. my Ampharos is lvl 49 and knows thunderpunch, Thunder, charge, and discharge. is this movepool good or should I replace one of them with a different move? (Besides victory road, know any places to train Ampharos?)

 

(No answers relating to EV, IV, and Nature, for I find them pointless)

Question:Have you got Ho-oh yet??? I know that in HG you have to battle it before going to the Pokemon league,it can be helpful.

 

As for Togetic,unless you evolve it into Togekiss,it won't be that good so I recommend you to use either Pidgeot or a Kadabra since you won't use flying type that much against the Elite Four

 

As for Ampharos,try to teach it Thunder Wave and another Electric type move that isn't Thunder(Thunder has a really bad accuracy,trust me my beloved Raichu suffered because of that)

 

Also,make sure you have a Pokemon with a good ice type move like Ice Beam,otherwise Lance is gonna murder you with his 3 FREAKIN DRAGONITES
