(All right, let's go!)

On polished stone steps was a thirteen year old girl with a class. A class not so big, not so small. Each wore a uniform, each had a name, a face, a soul. The teacher was a middle-aged women, nothing more, nothing less. She brought her class to teach them the history of art.

"How old is this Museum?" One of her students asked.

"Very old...about 110 years to be exact." The Teacher replied.

Now the thirteen year old girl was surprised. A 110 year old building? Most Museums get rebuild after 50. She she turned around to see a rather interesting painting. It looked like a Mother scolding her child while the child played a keys only piano. Maybe...that was the Artist's past?...

"Why would they keep such old paintings in a old building?"  She wondered.

"Belle-San!" Her Teacher called. She looked to see her class already down the hallway.

"Wait for me!" She dashed off.

Roran smiled, staring at one of the more unique pieces in the museum. A beautiful creation of colored swirls, mixed of red blues and yellows. Some could say that simple swirls on a canvas wasn't true art, but the way the paint shined in the light lit a smile in Roran. It helped with his headaches, this art museum. A quiet place away from the doldrums that is the city. A place that shined with talent and intellect.

Roran looked to his left. Another painting. A child and its mother, with the mother scolding the child--presumably over the piano the child was painting.

Interesting. I wonder how many artists derive their past, and use it for art.

Shinko was paying attention, to her class? No. To the stories the Family next to her where sharing. They were talking about some man named "Guertena."

"He's such a Mystery."

"Wait isn't this painting made by him?"

"I think a lot of these painting are....I think."

They then walked away causing Shinko to frown. She wanted to hear more about Gurtena... She glanced back at her class. "I'll come back to them before Lunch..."

She quietly took a few steps back and then dashed hoping none of her classmates would see her.

"Now to go find out for myself..." She looked up to see a painting that seemed to be o a cat. Shinko read the title, "Your Dark Figure."

"My Dark Figure....a cat represents that?....That's strange...."

Roran adjusted his glasses. It was time to move on, he felt. Yawning a bit, the tall man stepped away from the paintings, and proceeded down the hallway. A group of young students were before him, making him sigh.

Naturally, I have to deal with a bunch of delinquents before I can get anywhere. Roran thought, looking around as he searched for a way--anyway to get around the group of noisy students.

Shinko was...well no other word than confused as she roamed through the hallways. "These are the strangest paintings I have ever seen..." First was a pink ball with knives in it. Then a bunch of statues that looked like Power Rangers. Finally a couch that said, "Reserved Seat."

"What kind of paintings are these suppose to represent? And they all are made from that same Artiest aren't they...Guertena? Now I really want to know more...Maybe I should of stayed with my class..."

Roran ducked into another hallway. It was quieter, here. A hall dedicated to a single artist...one guertino or something. The paintings were...odd, to say the least.

"Hmph.." Roran grunted, looking at them all. Something about these pictures put him on edge. That alone was strange. He was often the calmest among men, and the fact mere paintings were grating his nerves meant something.

Roran blinked. A girl wandered around the hall. She looked similar to the group Roran has seen not too long before.

"I really should go back...my friend's might be panicing about where I am..." Shinko gazed at her feet and begin to walk....or more like speed walk.

 "If they find out I'm gone I'll be in really big trouble! They'll tell and then I won't have lunch! I need food too for I'm a human!"

Shinko walked at a rather fast pace till she bumped into a nearby wall... "Ah!"

She rubbed her head, "Ow...."

"Are you alright?"

Roran had moved to the girl, bending down a bit, hand outstretched in the event she needed aid. He had seen her run into the wall, and felt obliged to at least ensure she was alright. After all, an adult would be held responsible if they were the only one in the room when s child was hurt.

Shinko's head hurt to the point she wanted to cry. However being the small girl that she was she was able to hold in her tears quite well. A man bent next to her asking if she was alright. Shinko was the type to become embarrassed thus making her blush, "Yes Sir...I'm ok." She forced a smile. "I just got lost from my class is all..."

He nodded.

"I saw your classmates not too long ago. Just exit through there," Roran said, nodding to the exit before them, "And take a left. They were heading to the museum's cafe." Roran stood up, nodding to the girl again.

He fixated his glasses again, already ready to leave the current hall. And with hands in his blue coats' pockets, he began to walk out.

She watched the man leave as she slowly stood up, "It was nice of him to tell me where...oh darn I should of said thanks!"

~~~
Many noises filled the cafe and her class did nothing but add to it. Shinko ate a ham sandwich with a small bag of chips nearby.
"Shinko did you like all the Art we saw so far?!"
They never noticed that she left...
"Yeah!"
"Guys guess what!" Then one of her friends pulled out three chocolaty bars. "I hit the jackpot."
Shinko's eyes gleamed as she grabbed one, "Thanks!"
~~~

Off her class was again....and once again Shinko was bored. However the chocolate bar was keeping her company as she followed. The Teacher talked and she ate, it was good.

However...

Shinko ate the last of her candy bar.

"Oh no! My bar it's...wait...is that a rabbit?" She looked to see a pink rabbit in the middle of the gallery. "Can no one see the rabbit?" The Rabbit then stared at her freaking Shinko out just a little. The Rabbit then hopped away. Shinko's eyes widen....something...made her really want to follow it....

She looked at her class...perfect timing.

She took off and followed. The bunny went left and right left and right. Shinko followed till...it suddenly vanished....

"What?....Where did it go..."

She looked up to see a rather large painting in a empty room...

Roran continued to walk the halls, wishing the museum would put in more pieces. He had been here quite often within the past month, and the only pieces they put in were the pieces by Guertena.

Of course, Roran refused to enter the halls that held those paintings.

They disturbed him, in a way he couldn't describe.

He blinked, as he saw the same girl from before rush into a hall; a corridor Roran sworn was not there before.

A painting was calling. A calling from the painting...

So scary yet so....needy.

Belle Shinko gazed at the painting.

It was as wide as the whole hallway...a empty hallway with no one.

For Shinko the painting was hard to....describe. There was so much color that she was unsure what the painting was meant to mean. All she could see was a big pink line, a chair, a girl with red eyes, a ...boy? Also, a Sun and Moon mixed into one.

However there was a rose. A Purple Rose that stood straight in the Painting. It was so...

Suddenly, a small orange paint dripped off. It was from the painting.

Shinko slowly walked up... "Is...it wet?" He carefully placed her hand on the large painting. "It feels so real...like it-"

Belle Shinko was sucked in the painting, and the purple rose that was once there...disappeared off the painting.

Roran got that bad feeling: a dark feeling that suddenly dropped into his gut as he entered the corridor. No one seemed to notice as he ducked in, and he was surprised that the hall was empty. The only way out was the way one came in, and Roran had kept his eye on the entrance the whole time.

There was only one painting here. An odd mish-mash of color, with an image of a boy..a sun, a moon, a girl, and other things. The most noticeable was the rose. A grey rose, that stood out. It drew  Roran to it, and he blinked when a bit of paint dripped down.

"Is it...? It could not have been painted recently.." He whispered, tentatively pressing his hand to it. "This..painting.."

And like that, Roran too was taken in.

(Nice pic Sensei :)

Shinko woke up to see only a faded light...

She sat up to see....only black. Below her was a very dark purple carpet while black walls were around. Then where was the light coming from? She looked up to see... a half Moon. It's silver moonlight the only light in the darkness.

"Where am I?..." Shinko asked a little timid. She looked forward. It seemed the carpet was leading her one way and one way only.

Thus she followed that way.

Roran coughed. He felt that that was...unexpected. And most certainly an experience he never wanted to try again.

He sat up, blinking and trying to get aware of his surroundings. "Dang it.." He whispered. One of his lenses was cracked, disjointing the view for his left eye. If he took it off, he would be near blind. But it would be difficult to examine the area without full vision.

He sighed. "I guess have monocular vision is better than seeing like a fly." He muttered, taking off the glasses and pushing out the broken lens. He winced, a bit of blood peeking out from his cut thumb.

Shinko walked while clutching her right arm with her left hand. "Is this a Dream?...Maybe I fainted?" She walked in till the purple carpet ended. In front of her was a door. "I wonder what's behind..." Shinko bit her lip as she turned the knob.

It was a room.

A room with gray walls and a black floor. However what was odd of the room was the small table holding a glass vase. Inside the vase was a Rose, a Violet Rose. Shinko walked inside up to the vase. "This Rose...is like the one I saw in the painting..." Shinko stared at it "I wonder..." Her hands slowly grasped the small Rose....and suddenly it felt like more energy had entered her. Shinko pulled it out and observed, "This is...weird...."

"Crack!"

Shinko turned her head to see that the vase that was once there...had broken to pieces...

Roran got up, fixing what remained of his glasses. The carpet beneath him was disjointed and ugly, and lead to a simple mohagony door. Deciding this was his only choice, he opened the door. In the middle of the black room was a simple table. And upon that, was a clear glass vase.

The most beautiful grey rose sat in the face, and Roran felt tempted to pick it up. When he did, he felt a slight rush of energy.

"This rose...it looks familiar...like the one in the- crack!" Roran whipped around to stare at the vase. It had literally shattered, as if the rose was what was keeping it stable.

Shinko felt uneasy, "I didn't even touch it. Maybe I should-" Her eyes widen at the sight "The Door....it's gone." Shinko stood there "What am I going to do...I don't see another door." looked at the violet rose she held. "I better keep this safe but where?...Oh my pocket! It's not very big but maybe it will do?"  Shinko opened the shirt pocket that came with her School Uniform. She tried to fit it in till a small piece of the stem broke.

She fell on her knees.

"Ow...that hurt... b-but why?"

There were two problems...

Where to put the Rose and What to do about a room with no door.

"No door." Roran muttered aloud. He didn't know why he said it-- perhaps to confirm it. But certainly enough, the door was missing. The man was now standing in a warped, confusing room that hurt the eyes.

He sighed, slipping the rose into his coat's pocket. Be easier to keep it there; he felt like keeping it safe was a smart choice.

"Now..how the hell do I leave." He muttered, beginning to pace about the room, searching for any clue.

"I want to leave...." Shinko leaned against one of the walls and slid down till she sat. "I hate being closed like this..." Something bothered her right eye. Her hand wiped the eye when she realized it was wet.

"Oh great now I'm starting to cry." Shinko hated herself for being a baby this easily. "I looking at myself like this....through....this....mirror..." Infront of her she noticed that the wall was a mirror.

"Why did I not see this before?"
