Friends Until The End: A Pikmin RP

Posted

First off, I dunno how many people are actually gonna join this. I feel a bit embarrassed...since this is like the first time someone has tried to make a Pikmin RP work. So...I`m not too sure how many we'll get.

You don't need to have played the games, but it helps. It also helps if you at least know a lot.

(RULES) Things to remember (for people who don't have the game or seen it) and some for veterans

  • Only 100 Pikmin in your group at a time. Actual games only allow 100, but since I have no idea how many people we'll get, we can't just split only 10 pikmin...So...100 in your group. Just...everyone gets 100. No matter what type.
  • Pikmin can do just about anything. From tripping, to dying, to collecting to climbing.
  • Some of your Pikmin need to eventually die. The more Pikmin die, the better your character will develop, or whatever.
  • You are free to explore sublevels of caves (from Pikmin 2) at your own leisure. Even if you form an awesome group, you can allow someone to get behind, for better story telling.

*Anything else, I'll add.

Captain (Main Characters)

Suit colour:

Name:

Gender:

Planet: (Make it up, or choose a real planet, other than earth, since the games actually take place on a post-apocalyptic earth.)

Planet Currency:

Bio: (Optional)

Treasure Collecting Space Ship/Pod name:

Appearance: Description only, or if you can't think, then a picture. We just need to imagine that picture with your suit and they're size about a couple inches high.

Enemy (Side Character)

Name:

Creature: (Any enemy from the two games already out are fine. Look an enemy up on a Pikmin wiki if you know no enemies.) ((No bosses)

Colour: (Original, or explain the alternate colour(s).)

Attacks: (No magic allowed.)

Gender:

Alliance: (Friendly, or hostile)

Bio: (Optional)

Favourite Food: (A type of pikmin, meat, (a) type(s) of enemy/ies, metal suit, leaves, berries...scraps whatever you want, as long as it's not silly and actually possible.

Story-

The cost of living is too high, you're poor. You have no more of the currency of your planet. Time to go (Earth) the Pikmin planet to get money back! Either work together to get your money back, or steal from others! What path will you choose? The Honest, Fair Collector, or the Dark, Dirty Raider?

Every treasure stolen gives negative points. These negative points are the same numbers as much as the treasure cost. When you reach 100% Negativity, you're given the title: Raider, and some of the enemies/my characters may behave differently. I also control Bosses.

I'll post my characters later. Feel free to control any of the enemies, as long as they're not the Side Characters!

Oh boy...I'm a bit worried no one will join.

This actually sounds pretty cool. I will sign up for it later.

Captain (Main Characters)

Suit colour: Purple

Name: Mulligan

Gender: Male

Planet: Alvin

Planet Currency: Flat-Cats (that is, given how the economy evolved, barter and trade used to be based on cats, which were, and still remain, and over abundant species. However, when carrying a large number of cats with you at one time became cumbersome, someone had the keen idea of inventing coinage to represent cats. So now, the planet Alvin uses coins, but continues to refer to them as Flat-Cats)

Bio: Mulligan has the job of supply sergeant in one of the fleets of Alvin. Of course, like most good supply sergeants, Mulligan is not above making a few deals here and there which might benefit his own pocket (never to excess, but hey, who's going to miss a few crates of stuff in an intergalactic navy?). And now, thanks to a very well kept rumor, Mulligan has heard wind of a planet that practically oozes treasure that surely someone would be willing to pay for. As such, he's taking an extended leave of absence to take a trip to Earth to see what he can round up.

Treasure Collecting Space Ship/Pod name: The Floating Poker Game

Appearance: Balding on the top, while still having a ring of brown hair, and a bushy mustache that sprouts from his side burns. He's short, stout, and has a large, bulbous nose. He tends to keep a pen behind his ear (which, considering he's wearing a helmet, he can't reach for, and is kind of silly).

Do we need a side character, or is it optional?

Accepted. You don't need one, but it'd keep you busy without waiting on someone.
