The official GameFreak website has posted a strange picture of a silhouette with a caption noting that "the well known game, played all around the world, is about to be reborn thanks to a surprising collaboration". Now, this may not be regarding Pokémon, but rather another franchise that GameFreak is now working with, so don't take this as Pokémon at this time, but we'll bring news as and when it comes

Edit @ 07:30: It has been found that the URL includes the term Soritiba ソリティ馬, which was a trademark registered last year by Gamefreak

I checked Serebii to see Black Kyurem's height (Long story), and saw this on there.

 

Yeah, they make a few one-offs every once in a while. Harmoknight and Drill Dozer come to mind.

Yeah, I know, I was just throwing it out there. Earthbound fanboy mode from the Wii U release probably. I knew that wasn't it. I saw someone find Japanese words in the code, and when I put them through a translator, I got something about it being a simple game... People seem to be theorizing that it's a horse racing game, but that doesn't seem right. ._.

Pokemon developer GameFreak’s mysterious new game has been revealed as Soritia Horse for the Nintendo 3DS eShop. The game is divided into Solitaire Phase and Control Phase. The Solitaire Phase allows you to play solitaire to improve the bond with your horse and make them run better. The Control Phase sees you use the touch pen to navigate the courses, reacting to certain parameters and course attributes. Races continue by switching between phases back and forth. In the final stretch, you use items and power you collected along the way, plus a whip to send your horse over the finish line. Raise your own horse, turn it in to a QR code and share it with others. Soritia Horse will be released on July 31st on the Nintendo eshop for 3DS in Japan.
