In the midst of 1940s Reykjavik, an amateur horror novelist named Hordur Skulason discovers a nesting ground for a tribe of demons called The Unforsaken in his backyard. Having no idea how they got there, he teams up with his best friend and cryptozoologist Arni Mikaelsson to save their beloved town before the forthcoming apocalypse.
