    As much as I would like it to be Link, it'd make more sense for it to be Mario.

     

    ...or switching perspectives could work too. I've seen it done well with like, 3 characters at a time.

    I feel like if it's Link it'll be all squealy and people will fangirl too much where with Mario, you can just enjoy the story for its writing.
