This is my story I have been working on for a long time on in my head. Please tell me what you think so I know if I should type more. It is Kingdom Hearts related and I hope you enjoy it.

Dark Heart
Everything is born from sleep.
In the fate of all there is no coincidence.
“Such words are true but meaningless. In the end we will all fade to darkness. Everything we have will be lost. We will wither away to nothingness. Everything we know will end. Then, you will know that I was right, and that what we do in life is meaningless. You and I are bound together, both of us connected, because our fates are the same. You, I, and the rest of the world are all doomed to die. But it is how we chose to do so, that will determine if our existence was worth it.” ~Kazari
Without the light there is no darkness, and without the darkness there is no light. They constantly clash, creating everything we know. But what keeps these forces in balance? What stops them from destroying everything?
What is in between? What is left of the places destroyed by the opposing forces of the light and darkness?
Everything is made from dark and light. Everything is created from the constant imbalance between the opposing forces.
The Realm of Nothing is ever present. It balances all, and yet is all consuming. All that we know would not exist without the Realm of Nothing.
The Realm of Light and The Realm of Darkness need each other to exist. And yet they can never co-exist in peace. The Realm of Nothing keeps the balance.
This is
Dark Heart.
For Cory, who was one of the first
to give to me true friendship
and the knowledge of what it means to be friends.
* * *
For Kassidy, who taught me that
what others think is not important
and that you should always follow your heart.
* * *
For Holley, who showed to me the ropes
of life and love, and gave me compassion,
though she will never know it.
You three are only a few of those who affected my life, but have by far changed me the most. The inspiration for the characters in this story, you guys (and girls) will forever remain in my heart. Cory, Kassidy (my true Oni), and especially you, Holley, I thank you. I hope you all live happy lives, though you have already disappeared from mine.

Chapter One: Fate is Set
The day was perfect. The air was warm, the breeze was cool. Everything seemed to be at peace. It seemed a normal day in Radiant Garden. Two kids were playing in the park. One was a boy, by the name of Kazari. He was a typical boy of five, energetic and care free. His curly brown hair was blowing in the wind and his green eyes glowed with fire as he sparred with his friend. Her eyes, also green, sparkled with joy as she easily beat him. She was just like any other five year old girl, and her blond hair flowed gracefully down her back.
“Come on Kazari. Why do you always want to play this game? You know I always beat you,” the young girl asked.
“I’ll never beat you if I don’t try, Holley,” Kazari answered back.
“You’ll never beat me and you know it,” Holley said.
“Will too!”
“No you won’t!”
“Yes I will!”
“Hey play nicely now,” Brenna Dame, the young woman who was watching them called as she cradled her young son, Kory, not older than a month in her arms.
“Ok,” the kids called back as they began to spar again. It was then that a couple that had just moved to Radiant Garden and their young daughter came walking through the park. The little girl had stunning blue eyes and radiant blue hair.
“Hello,” the girls parents said as they came up to Kazari, Holley, and Brenna.
“Hello,” Brenna replied back.
“Mommy, can I play with them?” asked the little girl, who appeared to be the same age as Kazari and Holley.
“Sure, have fun!” the girl’s mother called as she ran to join Holley and Kazari.
“Hi,” said Holley.
“Hi,” the girl replied back with a smile.
“Hello, I am Kazari,” Kazari said.
“Hi,” she said.
“I am Holley,” Holley added.
“What’s your name?” Kazari asked.
“My name is Aqua,” the girl said.
“You know how to play?” Kazari asked.
“No,” Aqua replied.
Hmm, good this should be easy, Kazari thought to himself. “It is easy. Just pick up a stick by one of the trees and then use it like a sword. The first one to get hit or drop their stick loses,” Kazari said to her.
“Ok,” she said. Soon they were ready to go. Holley gave them the signal and they were off. Aqua proved to be a great challenge, and easily beat Kazari. She was quick and agile, and good on her feet, despite only being five. Kazari kneel on the ground in defeat.
“How did you get so good?” Kazari asked.
“I don’t know. I just do what I think I should do,” Aqua replied casually.
“My turn!” Holley said.
So for the rest of the day the kids played and had fun together. They quickly became good friends. But it would not last long. That night, the girl and her family disappeared. Two children were born that night before the family left, both girls. One to the parents of Kazari, whose name was Arlene. The other was born to new parents, and her name was Oni.
