(I will allow all student characters to post before I make the crystal appear, then everyone can make a post afterward before it becomes the next day and everyone goes to school. When that happens every 4 posts an hour will pass by. Before the crystal appears Vampires can make appearance posts, but don't make contact with the crystal blessed until the next day)

And so it begins...

(Sampson)

In the dark of the night, Sampson entered the high school gymnasium which revealed many teenagers dancing and having fun. Sampson saw it as too many hormones together in one hot cramped up gym.

"Why am I here why am I here why am I here..." He repeated multiple times as he entered the gym. Music blazed into his ear as he searched for a chair to sit in, finally finding one on the other side of the gym.

"This can't get any worse... Can it?" Sampson asked himself.

(Vladimir)

Sitting on his throne, in a dark room, surrounded by many vampires but mostly keeping quiet to themselves, Vladimir twitched a bit, then adjusted in his seat.

"Finally, the crystal makes itself known," He said to himself. The nearby vampires quickly turned to him in excitement, whispering and softly snickering and cheering. Vladimir glared at them and they went back to whatever they were working on.

"The question now becomes, where will it present itself?"

Sampson looked to Skyler.

"Oh right, you were there too. Ok, some of us that touched the crystal are here right now, so here's the plan: Let's finish school, that's two more hours. Until we can figure this out, let's stay low key. We don't want the government to come and dissect us. After, let's meet out by the flagpole, and we can try to figure this out. So far, only the people that were at the crystal know about this, so we should be good for now, right?"

(Vladimir)

Vladimir walked around impatiently, thinking about the only thing that was important to him: his plan.

"My soldiers better be making progress on locating the crystal blessed..." He muttered to himself, continuing to pace the floor.

(Just a reminder: vampires are able to be around in the day, it's just that their abilities are hindered, so feel free to make an appearance with your vampire characters.)

"Okay, sounds like a good plan, I'll tell my brother too, he doesn't go to school, but he was part of the event last night."

Skyler pulled out her phone and called her brother.

"Hey Takuya, it's Skyler again. So a bunch of people that witnessed the meteor last night, we are meeting up by the flag pole after school, and I want you to be there too."

"Alright sounds good, sounds like it will be a good discussion."

Takuya hangs up and starts to enjoy his alone time watching sports.

"Man I should have tookin that scholarship, and just got a place over there so my sister could live with me instead of this. Oh well it happens."

<Annabelle>

"We should be good," Annabelle said. Annabelle sighed. "If we do that, we should be fine!" Annabelle stamped her foot down as wind picked up. She didn't want things to be any more awkward than they needed to be.

<Heather>

"I still can't find the stupid Crystal Blessed...why couldn't we be the ones to be crystal blessed? We aren't good enough? We aren't nice enough? We'll get our revenge. First victim I see, they're going to be with us!" Heather walked down a path in the forest.

Cate jerked awake. The first thing she noticed was the hammering pain in her head. The second thing was that she couldn't see anything. And finally, the third, that she was tied to a chair.

"Ah, you are awake." A voice from the shadows said.

It sounded cultured and carried a slight accent with it.

"I apologize for this method of meeting you, but it was easier."

"Easier than what?" Cate asked, her voice shaking slightly.

"The long way." The voice answered. "I've been doing it for a long time, and it has been hit or miss whether it works. I decided to try something new."

"And you are?" Cate asked, trying to muster up a strong voice.

"My name is Viktor."

(12 am? don't you mean pm? xD I'm going with PM)Alex sighed. "Alright, alright. You got it, boss. Since it's lunch time already, let's just head to the cafeteria."Ulrich leaned against a tree just outside the high school. "I can sort of feel some energy in there. It would make sense that the Crystal Blessed are highschoolers since it did land near one. I was kind of hoping it would be some logical and reasonable adults, who would be jumping with joy at the chance to join us and become immortal. High schoolers are too obsessed with 'moral values' and such." He sighed and rubbed his forehead. Now, whether to tell Vladimir or not. We could leave the kids alone, but if we do, their powers could strengthen and by the time we do take action they might actually have a chance against us, or they could forget all about it and suppress their abilities. However, recruiting them now would benefit us if we could. He looked up to the roof of the school, the sun gleaming over the top and hitting his face. Despite the lore of vampires, vampires are not hurt by the sunlight. It'll feel hot when it touches their skin, but nothing more than that. He pushed away from the tree and turned around, heading away from the school. If this were any other place, he might have tried to go in there and see what's up, but it would raise suspicion.

<1 pm> (lunch is lasting until the end of school. Don't judge me.)

(Sampson)

Sampson began to walk, then turned around Anne walked backwards so as to face the group.

"Well uh, we might as well get to knew each other. I have a feeling we'll be hanging out a lot. My loner days are over I guess." He laughed at his own joke and stopped so as to not look self centered.

"So, to formally introduce myself, I'm Sampson, Sampson Warrington. You guys are?"

Skyler followed Sampson and listened to him talk to everyone, and hear him laugh at his own joke.

"I might have laughed if I didn't have so much going on, but my name is Skyler, my loner days are soon to go away soon too, you guys will meet my brother later today, you guys will like him, I'm sure if you guys have siblings they would know him too."

<Annabelle>

"I am Annabelle Cirstole. I used to be shy...like...a lot... I'm fine, now, though. The crystal thing is pretty weird. Now I'm just randomly remembering things. Us having these powers are for sure bad news for us."

"Well they actually could be gifts, maybe we have a purpose to do something good, I mean that's what I'm looking as it is. But I could be wrong, I havnt thought like this since..."

Skyler looked to the sky and shed a little bit of tears.

"Since my parents died"

She looks back at everyone else

"But I have to be strong and I have this feeling we have a purpose.

"Alex Snow. 16 years old." He said, following Sampson to the cafeteria. Once there, he saw students scrambling to get their lunches. He sat down in a chair and sighed. "I'm skipping lunch today. Just don't feel like eating. You guys go ahead and get your lunch, I'll reserve these seats for you." He said.Justin left the classroom as the bell rang for lunch. The teacher went on about homework and how it had to be completed by the due date, or something along those lines. He never payed attention to it anyways. He kept to the side of the wall so the students wouldn't rush around him or knock him over. He stepped into the cafeteria where he saw Alex take a seat. He walked to the far end of the room and sat in a table by himself. Nobody else sat in the table beside him, and that was the way he liked it.

<2am>

Annabelle decided to sit at her own table, because she always sits by herself. Even with her new found friends, she felt uncomfortable. It was just a force of habit. She was trying to process exactly what happened. A girl walked to her. "Is something wrong?" she asked Annabelle. Annabelle shook her head. "I'm trying to think about something..." "Oh. Good luck!" the girl walked away. "What did happen anyways? Did it...change our bodies? Too many questions." Annabelle didn't realize the bell rang.

Justin sighed. He didn't have a chance to get his lunch due to the line. He walked out of the school and set himself on his way home. He couldn't help but wonder, what effects did the crystal have on him? He lifted his hands to look at them. They tingled slightly, as if they were asleep, but they weren't. Come on, it had to have had some sort of effect on me. He focused, and after a bit, the light gathered around his hands. Can I control it like Alex does? Or is it something different? He wondered as he walked. Maybe I can form it with my mind. He tried to formulate something, but the light just swirled. Maybe the power we have is limited to creating one thing and one thing only.  He tried to think what item he could formulate. He had already tried a sword, so maybe bladed weapons were out of the question. What if it's.... a bow and arrow? He thought. He tried to formulate an arrow in his hand, but the light still swirled. Hmm... He mimicked the action of pulling an arrow through a bow when a bow appeared in his hand. It wasn't solid, though, nor was it transparent. The arrow didn't appear like an arrow should, more like just a beam of light. He let it go, and the arrow flew through the grass, cutting the blades of grass in half. He let his hands fall to his sides and the bow diminished. There was no way that was a daydream... He thought, continuing to walk.Ryan chuckled, watching Justin from a distance, on top of the football stadium bleachers. It seems he's just discovering his power. Maybe I should go influence him to join our cause, given he should know nothing about the vampires right now. He jumped off the bleachers and on to the street as Justin continued to walk. Ryan walked to the other side of the street, tailing him from a distance.

"Okay, Viktor." Cate said.

Now that the ache in her head was subsiding, she could feel that she had a blind fold on.

"Why are you doing this?" She asked.

"Do you remember last night?" Viktor asked.

From what Cate could tell, he sounded like he was in front of her, but to one side.

"A little." She said, figuring truth was the best course for now.

"You are here because you can in contact with the crystal." Came her captor's reply.

Justin heard footsteps behind him and turned around. A person in a grey cloak and a white mask was there. "Hello." Ryan said calmly. Justin considered who he could be. He's not too much taller than me... does he go to school here? He wondered. "I am Ryan Schwarzweiss, fifteen years of age. But you can just call me Ryan." he said with a strange grin. No... he's not from around here. And Schwarzweiss? That's a pretty strange name... "I know who you are too. You're Justin Prince." His grin intensified as Justin's eyes widened. "I did a little research, that's all." Justin could barely react. "I'm here because I know you came into contact with the crystal, or, as you called it, 'meteorite'. It gave you a strange ability. Your ability, from what I've seen, is the power to morph the sunlight into a bow and arrow you can use. I am from an organization that needs those powers to use them for... the greater good." He said, keeping the one-sided conversation going. "If you come with me, I can help you strengthen your abilities and use them for the greater good I speak of." This doesn't seem right. He's too... shady. I mean, dressing in a mask and cloak? That pretty much just screams "I'm an evil villain". "Give me a good reason to trust you, then. Right now, your appearance and way of speaking aren't doing much to win me over." Justin said, raising his hands to form his bow. Ryan heaved a sigh. "I knew it wouldn't be this easy. Well, here's something I can offer: Eternal life." That's why he looks so young... "If you join now, I can certainly grant that." Justin felt the heat from the bow increase. He felt it would explode if he held it any longer. "Tell me, Ryan, just how long have you been fifteen?" Ryan's grin came back. "Awhile." Justin released the arrow, and Ryan calmly raised his hand. A glaive-like weapon appeared in his hand, and the arrow disintegrated. "This, is my weapon. I call it Sectra. Now, the offer is still on the table. Accept it, or I'll have to kill you. Because without our guidance, your powers will consume you and you will kill everyone you love or hold dear." The words pierced Justin like a dagger. He didn't consider the powers would have that kind of effect on him. "Going... going... aaaand it's gone." Ryan said, and threw his glaive at Justin. Justin ducked and fired an arrow at him. Ryan jumped, which seemed to be at least five feet into the air, and evaded the arrow. Justin fired a few more, and actually ended up hitting him, but it didn't do too much damage. "I thought someone as smart as you would have to have figured it out by now. Your power is useless against me." Justin let the bow fade away, and turned around, sprinting away from Ryan. Ryan sighed and gave chase.

Annabelle walked home. She had to walk through the forest, so she had to get up early, and go to school early. She carried her back-pack on her shoulder. A bird crowed and flapped away. Annabelle stopped walked and looked behind her. She turned again to go home when Heather came upon her. "Hi!" Heather waved. Annabelle stepped back. "And who are you?" she asked. "Heather. Heather Irituka. How would you like to be immortal and join the vampires?" Heather offered. "Thanks, but no thanks." Annabelle further walked down the path. Heather stared at the ground. Annabelle rushed back. Perfect! Heather thought. "What are vampires, anyway?" Annabelle asked. Heather took a big breath and collapsed. Her right leg twitched. "How could...any one...not...know...what...vampires are?!" she cried. "You're weird." muttered Annabelle. She began to once again return home. Heather jumped up. Her hair practically flew up in a burst of anger. "T-T-The insolence of it!" Heather's eyes bulged.

Justin thought of places where he could have an advantage as he sprinted away from his pursuer. The motel down Levin street. The wooden awning. After a few more blocks, he reached Levin street and stopped under the awning. He turned around and slid backwards, aiming a few arrows at Ryan, who dodged them easily. Once Ryan was under the awning, he shot above Ryan. "You missed." Ryan said smugly. "Check again." The awning collapsed over Ryan and before he could dig himself out, Justin ran once again, leaving Ryan behind. It took him a few minutes, but Ryan finally dug himself out. "Damn it! Clever little neophyte." He said angrily, his glaive dissipating. "I should go report this to Vladimir. These crystal-blessed may be more of a challenge than we anticipated."Justin dashed into his house and closed the door behind him, turning the lock. He fell onto the floor and caught his breath. His body was burning from all the running, and his breath coming out in jagged wheezes. He got up and hung up his key, slowly making his way to the kitchen. Should I call the cops? What would I tell them? I used a bow and arrow made of sunlgiht to ward off an attacker who could make a glaive appear at will? Yeah right. How could I explain making the awning fall on him? After a few minutes, he figured he was safe so he locked all the windows and drew the curtains. Alex waited by the pole for a while, but Sampson and Annabelle didn't come. They probably forgot or something. So I'll just head home. He thought, beginning to walk to his apartment. A large man in a biker's getup stood in the middle of the side walk ahead of him. He went around the biker guy, when he heard him say, "Wait." Ulrich stepped forward and glared at Alex. "Alex Snow. I've been needing to speak with you."

(crap crap crap crap I had orientation at my school and this completely slipped my mind. It's ok I'm about to slip back in. Btw thank you guys for keeping up the time change)

(Sampson)

Sampson ran out to the flagpole.

"Stupid teacher held us after the bell rang." He said to himself.

"Alex? Anabelle?" He looked around and noticed Alex in the distance. Sampson ran up to catch up with him.

"Hey I know I took a while but at least you and Annabelle should've stayed together, who knows what we're in store..."

Sampson examined the scene again to see another man was with Alex.

"For..." Sampson finished his sentence. "He a friend of yours Alex?"

Edited by VIIth Angel

Ulrich turned around to face Sampson. "You must be Alex's friends. I have a private affair with Alex here, so it will be best for you to be on your way." He said, and turned back to Alex. "Alex, I know you're a crystal-blessed. You touched the crystal last night and now you have a strange power, is that correct?" Alex slowly nodded. "I figure it's best I introduce myself now. I am Ulrich Koga. People call me Koga due to my personality, so I suppose you can too. I am here to recruit you to join our organization. I can promise you we will help you strengthen and better control your power." Alex hesitated. "If I refuse?" Ulrich sighed. "Then I'll have to kill you as an act of mercy. Eventually your power will grow beyond your control and you will kill everyone in your path." Alex's eyes widened. "Why do you need me? For what cause?" Ulrich hesitated, trying to find the right thing to say. "World peace." He mustered. "I don't believe you." Alex said. "Fine. Don't. I'll just have to kill you." Alex stepped back, trying to put on a strong act. He remembered what the light did to his hands in class and assumed a fighting stance. The light refracted around his hands and formed transparent sheets around his hands. "I see. Interesting." Ulrich said, noting his power. Alex threw a punch to Ulrich's stomach, and Ulrich was pushed back a bit. "What is this... immense strength...?" He asked. He grabbed Alex's wrist, but Alex quickly struck him with his other fist. Ulrich caught his fist, but his wrist bent back and snapped. Ulrich let go and jumped back, holding his wrist. Heaving a sigh, he held out his wrist and it snapped again back into position. He held his arm out and a gauntlet appeared in his hand. "Let's even the playing field a bit." Ulrich said, throwing a punch at Alex with the gauntlet.

Though he wasn't much of a fighter, Sampson was not about to let this complete stranger hurt his friend, if that's what he could call Alex.

"Hey punk, get a load of this!"

Sampson threw a punch and his fist collided with Ulrich's gauntlet. Sampson pulled his hand back in pain.

"Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow!!" Sampson shouted in pain. After regaining his posure,, Sampson had to think of something else.

"Ok, what can I do? I made a desk disintegrate, then repair itself, so was it like aging and unaging it? Ok, but how does this help us now?"

Sampson looked around, his eyes eventually landing on a nearby lightpost.

Sampson ran to the pole, and held his hands out.

"Go! Age! Go go gadget decay! How do I do it?"

He closed his eyes and imagined the pole doing exactly what he wanted it to do. He heard a noise and opened his eyes to reveal the foundation of the light post beginning to crack. Sampson kicked it and it tilted towards Ulrich, falling in his direction.

(Please hit him please hit him...) Sampson thought to himself.

Edited by VIIth Angel

Ulrich twisted to see the lightpost falling to him, so he blocked it with his gauntlet. His gauntlet cracked. Damn, Ulrich thought. Since it's not night time, I can only use this gauntlet for a limited time, and at reduced power. While he was distracted, Alex threw a punch to Ulrich's side. Ulrich let go of the lightpost to try to block it, but he failed. Ulrich fell to one knee as the lamppost fell beside him. "You brat!" He yelled and tried to punch Alex. Alex blocked it and tore the gauntlet off his arm. He threw the gauntlet aside and uppercutted Ulrich. The gauntlet dissipated and Ulrich was knocked a few feet into the air. "Just what I would expect of you, Alex..." He said as he landed on the sidewalk.

Annabelle sat down on her couch. She opened her back-pack. "I'm tired." Annabelle was about to fall asleep when Heather broke her door down. "The hell?!" Annabelle screamed. "Are you going to accept, my sweet tyke?" Heather demanded. "Tyke! Shut up! I'm NOT little!" "I struck a nerve..." Annabelle put her back into the wall. Heather seemed so tall, even from far away. "Sun-light come! Hurry!" Heather pinned Annabelle to the ground. "That's a myth. The sun is dangerous to us as the clean air is to you!" "Holy Cros--" Heather covered Annabelle's mouth. "Holy things are fake too. They don't kill us...we just hate them!" "I give you one more offer...will you join us?" Heather asked. "NO!" Annabelle exclaimed. She pushed Heather off and ran off outside. Heather glared at her as she ran. Heather stopped at the edge of the forest, about a block away from the school. Heather came up from behind and grabbed Annabelle's leg and held her upside down. "You choose to live an imperfect life? So be it." Heather threw Annabelle into the air and caught her by the neck. "Stop! Please! I-I'm too young...to die!" Annabelle yelled.

Sampson put his hands to his hips.

"Hey I helped too!"

Sampson sighed. "We should probably get out of here before he gets back up, any ideas where Anabelle lives? And do you know how to control these powers? I just kind of got lucky with mine."

The sun began to lower, still bright outside but noticeably closer to the horizon.

(btw Sorablade the inviting vampires in rule holds true in this rp, although if the building to be invited in happened to not be there anymore...)

Takuya and Skyler finally meet up and head back to there house.

"Skyler I have some crazy bad news, I got a phone call earlier from someone who touched a meteor a long time ago, he said that only the people who saw it and touch it know about it's existence, he also said that at 6pm sharp, vampires roam around to try and find us and recruit us but not for the good"

Takuya was saying all this while he was shaking.

"We aren't safe at night outside, I hope we are safe while we are in the house, at least until the morning."

Skyler watches her brother shake and tremble.

"So that must mean we have a purpose now, anytime you have a gift, you have a purpose, maybe it's to take care of those vampires, for the good of our word."

Skyler looks up as if she's speaking to her parents.

"I just remembered what I was doing in class, and went with it." Alex said, the light over his hands dissipating. "I think Annabelle lives through the forest. I think it's safe to say we're all being attacked now, so we should hurry." Alex said, starting to run towards the forest.Ulrich lied on the sidewalk, listening to them go. That power is an interesting one. He uses his raw strength as a weapon. Too bad I could never fight him with my full strength when he's at full strength. I have more than just my gauntlet, but I can't use it during the day. He closed his eyes, basking in the warm sunlight for a minute. He got up and heard footsteps behind him. "Koga, I see you've been defeated." Ryan said smugly. "Don't worry, I have been too. It seems they're too powerful for us during the day. But maybe we can show them what exactly our power does later, if they're kind enough to give us the chance. But for now, we should report in to Vladimir." Ulrich stood up and brushed the dirt off his arms. "Lead the way, then."Justin cursed himself for not asking Alex and Sampson for their phone numbers when he had the chance. "If I was attacked by a someone of that organization, chances are they were too since they have similar powers... I think Annabelle lives close to me, I should check to see if she's doing alright. I think Sampson and Alex would be okay." He said, fetching his keys and stepping out of the house, locking the door behind him.

Cate mulled what Viktor had said over in her mind. Was he talking about that meteor thing that crashed near the school?

"What was it?" She asked.

Oddly enough, she was feeling less frightened now. Though dark, Viktor's voice wasn't unkind.

"It is a thing of power." Viktor replied. "Those that touch it are gifted with powers fueled by the day."

"The day?"

"The prevailing theory is that it is the sun itself that fuels the powers, though it has not been conclusively proven."

This sounded like science fiction to Cate, but she something about how assured her captur sounded made her not discard the idea right away.
