(I will allow all student characters to post before I make the crystal appear, then everyone can make a post afterward before it becomes the next day and everyone goes to school. When that happens every 4 posts an hour will pass by. Before the crystal appears Vampires can make appearance posts, but don't make contact with the crystal blessed until the next day)

And so it begins...

(Sampson)

In the dark of the night, Sampson entered the high school gymnasium which revealed many teenagers dancing and having fun. Sampson saw it as too many hormones together in one hot cramped up gym.

"Why am I here why am I here why am I here..." He repeated multiple times as he entered the gym. Music blazed into his ear as he searched for a chair to sit in, finally finding one on the other side of the gym.

"This can't get any worse... Can it?" Sampson asked himself.

(Vladimir)

Sitting on his throne, in a dark room, surrounded by many vampires but mostly keeping quiet to themselves, Vladimir twitched a bit, then adjusted in his seat.

"Finally, the crystal makes itself known," He said to himself. The nearby vampires quickly turned to him in excitement, whispering and softly snickering and cheering. Vladimir glared at them and they went back to whatever they were working on.

"The question now becomes, where will it present itself?"

Heather halted, and she dropped Annabelle. "Why do you live here?" Heather asked. "I want to live here! Is that not reason enough?" "I...shall leave you now...for now." Annabelle stared as Heather retreated into the forest. Her lip quivered. "W-wh-what?!"

Justin stopped in front of Annabelle's house. He was there just in time to see a girl run into the trees. Annabelle's door was wide open. "Annabelle! Are you in there?" Justin yelled, running to her door.Ryan and Ulrich entered Vladimir's chamber. Ulrich knelt while Ryan stood. Since Ryan was a Lord, he didn't feel he needed to bow down to Vladimir, although technically Vladimir is the head honcho. Ulrich stood up after his gesture of respect. "Lord Vladimir. I encountered one of the crystal-blessed. His name is Alex Snow, and he is 16 years of age. He possesses the power to refract light around his fists and use the light in a manner that exponentially increases in strength. He defeated me due to the fact that it was not night time and I could not use my full powers against him. My deepest apologies." Ryan stepped up and explained his story. "I also encountered a crystal-blessed by the name of Justin Brown, who is 17 years of age. His power is to morph the sunlight into a transparent bow and arrow. He has an infinite number of arrows at his disposal, since it is made from sunlight. They had no effect on me, of course, since a Lord is still quite powerful in the day, but I fear that soon, if his powers mature further, he will stand a chance against me. That is all."

(Sampson)

He walked with Alex through the forest, beginning to doubt they'd every find Annabelle's house.

"What a commute to school this must be everyday..." Sampson muttered to himself. Eventually they came across Anabelle's house, and he noticed her door was broken in.

Sampson bolted to the scene, and began to call out her name.

"Anabelle! Annabelle where are you?" He yelled.

(Vladimir)

Vladimir smiled. "Contact, that's great. Remember, we are to do our best to convince them to join our cause, turn them, all for the plan to cultivate. Any crystal blessed you see must join our cause, or perish."

Vladimir smiled. "And I wouldn't worry about them overpowering you. Within an hour, the day will end, and night time begin. Your abilities will become active, and you can do what's necessary. Convince them, force them, hypnotize them, your abilities will help you do so."

He looked to Ryan and Ulrich.

"That is all. Happy hunting."

(Don't forget about a vampires power to hypotize a weak mind, and that they must be invited in, unless the building is destroyed)

Justin turned around. "Sampson, Alex. I came here and saw a girl running away from Annabelle's house. Let me guess: you guys were attacked too." Alex shifted a little. "Yeah. We were." Justin sighed. "I encountered a vampire named Ryan. He was significantly powerful, and said he would kill me if I didn't join them, as an 'Act of mercy'. My power didn't have any effect on him, so I had to run and cause the awning over the motel in Levin street to collapse upon him. I have a feeling that he wasn't really trying to kill me either. Even though he said the deal was off, I think he still needs us alive for whatever they have planned." Justin finished.

Ulrich bowed again before leaving, and Ryan followed him. Personally, Ryan just wanted a crystal blessed to dissect and find out the cause of their powers. A molecular change, a change of blood cells. Whatever it may be, he needed to know. If he could find out the cause of their powers, he could probably replicate them to an extent and make them usable for vampires. But the effects the crystal may have had made a change to their brain, too, which is why he theorizes the power could consume them. If they're weakminded. If they cannot endure the changes to their brain, then it would surely consume them. And to directly modify a vampire's brain might actually kill them. Every angle he looked at it, it seemed impossible. He heaved a sigh and walked ahead of Ulrich, making his way to his lab.

(It's a shame nobody's posted today, was kind of looking forward to this. I won't be here at all tomorrow since I have a few plans. during my absence I'll let VIIth Angel to control my characters since at this point he would kind of need to. Hopefully I'll be back soon enough, though  My mom decided she didn't need to bring me so nevermind about controlling my characters)

Annabelle crawled into her house. "Justin, I'm right here!" She stood up. "A real crazy thing happened. I was attacked by...this... she-vamp... I think...It's weird..." muttered Annabelle.

Justin sighed. "Sorry, I was so caught up in the moment that I didn't even look around. So that girl that was running off was a vampire?" Justin considered giving chase, but she was probably long gone by now. "Like I was saying before, he told me if he didn't kill me my powers would consume me and turn me insane. I don't know if that was a bluff, or..." Justin trailed off. "The one who encountered me, Ryan, said the same thing. Kind of like a coordinated dance. Well, I don't feel any less sane, so I'll write it off as a bluff."

(Sampson)

Sampson shrugged.

"We can't know that anything they told us was true. Regardless, we still need to figure out how to manage these powers, or at least get these blood suckers out of our hair."

The sun finally set, which temporarily instilled a weird feeling over the crystal blessed for a quick moment before it faded away. The sun had finally gone down.

*wow I am extremely behind*

Jasmin, and Takuya hear a lot of commotion going on outside, but they see nothing, they think it's probably just their ability to only know about the crystals, and the vampires, Jasmine quickly thinks to call all the people that knows what's going on. "Hello? Everyone? I have no idea what is going on, do you guys need any help?"

Cate shivered a little. She suddenly felt colder.

"Ah, that should be the sun." Viktor said, his voice getting closer. "With that danger out of the way, there is no reason for you not to be more comfortable."

A moment later, Cate was blinking at the light of a over head lamp as the blindfold was taken off. Contrary to what she was sure her surroundings should be, she saw that she was in a nicely furnished room with a solid wood table to her left and book shelves lining the wall. Several large arm chairs and a sofa were scattered around the room, giving the room a nice, pleasant look. Even the light over head destroyed her expectations by being somewhat yellow and soft.

Hearing something behind her, she looked to see a well dressed young man untying her hands.

"Again, I apologize for these measures. They shouldn't be necessary." He said, his voice identifying him as Viktor.

He looked up for a moment, his and Cate's eyes meeting. Cate got the feeling she was looking into old eyes. With her wrists free she brought her hands around and rubbed them to get rid of the pins and needles feeling. Viktor moved around in front of her and undid her feet from the chair legs. Every movement seemed precise, like he didn't want to use any more energy than necessary. She kept still for the most part. She was afraid that he had a plan if she bolted.

Viktor stepped away and gave Cate a pleasant smile.

"You must be hungry. What would you like?"

Justin and Alex both shifted uneasily at the same moment. For them, the setting sun left him feeling slightly drained, as if gravity had pulled his strength from him. Justin put his head in his hand. "I guess the setting sun marks the end of our power cycle, and if the myths are true, vampires are more powerful at night." Justin said. To test, he lifted his hands and tried to form a bow. A little light flickered, but quickly died. "We should probably stay together and do our best to fend off any attack that may come." Alex nodded in agreement. "What do you guys think?" Justin asked.Ulrich took a deep breath as he watched the sun set. He loved the smell of the night air and how energized it made him feel. He outstretched his arm, and grey tendrils webbed from his finger tips and up to his shoulder, enveloping his arm. It solidified and formed a sort of heavy arm armor. He cracked his knuckles and punched one of the trees in front of him. It broke immediately due to its' incredible size, and landed some feet in front of the stump. He exhaled and let the armor disperse. Now, it's about time I go check on what the crystal-blessed are doing. He thought with a grin, walking into the forest.

<7pm>

Annabelle gasped. "What does this have to do with us? There's definitely more than one vampire..." Annabelle noticed that it was very dark. "Well, do you have any other reason here other than to check on me?"

"That's a good question. Why the vampires need us, I don't know. Maybe they're striving for world domination and need us to be powerful in the day? I don't know, but whatever it is, it can't be good. I'd die before I let myself be used for something evil." Ryan yawned and stretched. He would have gone Crystal-blessed hunting with Ulrich, but he decided not to. At least, for now. He typed in the last of his report on the crystal blessed on his computer, and shut it off. He didn't have much data since the cyrstal blessed only acquired their powers recently, but soon he'd have more.

(Sampson)Sampson shrugged."I don't know what's going through their heads, but now that the sun has gone down, I have a feeling we're about to find out."He looked around at their surroundings, then back to the group."Maybe we should go to the town square. If we're in public they can't harm us, can they?"

"Not if they don't want to bring attention to themselves, which I'm sure they don't. But I think we'd be just as safe at home since they cannot be allowed in private buildings without being invited, or so the myth says. But I think that the vampire I saw running from Annabelle's house had gone in. And Annabelle wouldn't invite someone like that in. And I don't really feel like testing this theory either." Justin said. "So I think we should go with your idea." Ulrich leaned against a tree. He didn't know where to look for the crystal-blessed since school was out, and the last time he saw one was there. He only knows where a couple live, but they could be anywhere by now." He sighed. "Yeah, this hunt is going smoothly." He grimaced sarcastically.

<8PM>

"Yeah...I like your idea..." Annabelle stared at the ground. "What will we do if they attack again? We can't go alone, or we'll die...If we die one by one, we'll get weaker, and our group will fall apart, painfully and slowly..." she realized. "There's really not that much left of us..." Annabelle made eye contact with Justin and Sampson. "Even if just one of them jumped us, we'd be in a decent amount of trouble...I've heard they tend to wait until they spot a small group, then they manipulate one of the humans away from the group, in order to kill them...Probably not real..."

"They won't kill us. They need us, remember?" Alex asked. "But then again... we did get them pretty pissed and get them fixed to kill us..." Alex grimaced. "Anyway, we should probably head somewhere safe. Public places won't be brimming with life for much longer, so maybe we should stay together at someone's place. We are at Annabelle's place already, so why not here?"

Annabelle turned to look at her door. "Um...what do you guys think?" she asked, turning back. "Seem safe with the door broken?" It was nearly pitch black. "We don't have a choice, do we?" Annabelle wondered.

Edited by SoraBlade

"Well, I live nearby, and I can assure you my door isn't broken, so we can all go there. My parents are on a trip with one of their friends. All we can do now is hope the myths are true and lay low." Justin said. He looked to Sampson. "You're pretty much the leader here, so what do you think?"

  • Author

<9 pm>(Sampson)Sampson nodded."Your house it is. We should all let our parents know where we are, don't want them to get involved."He looked to Anabelle."Speaking of, where exactly is your parents?" He asked her.

Cate ate quietly at the table as Viktor sat in one of the bigger chairs, drinking something red in a glass."So, what is your interest in this crystal?" She asked in between bites of a sandwich."With its ties to the sun, it provides an excellent foil for my own personal abilities." He answered, conversationally.Cate deciphered this statement."You...can do stuff at night?" She asked, a little unsure.Viktor tipped his glass to her."Very good. I am much more capable at night than during the day."He smiled, showing pointed canines. Cate froze, her gaze transfixed on the red liquid in his glass."Don't worry, young lady." Viktor said, in a clamming voice. "If I were going to feed on you, we wouldn't be having this repartee."

(I had to go on vacation for 3 days. Should have told you, but...)

Annabelle tried to look away. "Um...they're kinda...you know. Dead. I guess. Either that, or they're relaxing on a very very very very very long vacation!" Annabelle pouted. "I can't believe they left me..."

"That's a shame. My parents are always working, and if they have days off the go off somewhere without me." Justin sighed. "I don't know why they do, we have enough money by now already, and we could easily cover the bills by just my dad's first job." Justin started walking back to his house. "We should probably get a move on before they find us. It's a miracle that they haven't by now."

<10pm>

"Yeah. We REALLY should get going now!" Annabelle exclaimed looking about. "Vampires are so scary... We really should not under-estimate them..." She went off to follow Justin.

Cate stayed silent, a quarter of a sandwich halfway to her mouth. Viktor could see a slight tremor in her hand. He put down his glass and sighed.

"You are perfectly safe here." He tried to assure Cate. "I brought you here because I want your help and am willing to provide aid in return."

Following behind, Sampson began to think of the past events.

"I just thought the biggest problem I was going to have to deal with this year was getting my license, but this definitely wins in the big problem category."

He turned to his friends.

"Now not only are we being hunted by vamps, but we're virtually powerless to defend ourselves until sunrise... Let's hope your house is close." He said continuing to follow behind.
