i was watching kh2 fight roxas vs sora and roxas says: why did he pick you?

 

i was wondering if he was talking about the keyblade chosing him or about ventus getting into his heart when he was a child in birth by sleep why did he choose sora? .

Mistranslation. Originally, he was referring to as "it", as in, the Keyblade. The Japanese language tends to omit pronouns, so the localization team had to guess. Of course, they ended up guessing incorrectly.
