Basically for both things you need to join a party, I explained how in the other thread. The party becomes your team each week at the lux reset, and that happens in about 21.5 hours.  Also you get 1AP for each party member you have, so if you are in a party with 5 other members you will get 5 more AP. The max party size is 30 people, so 29 other people=29 extra AP.
