I know this sucks, but its a random poem I wrote

The sun in the sky, seems to me as a bird on high, memories around me, fading fast. The days, they grow short, as our time here has passed, turning us to memories, in it's wake.

If anyone likes, I've got more of them.

Critacize or praise below.

The year wastes by,

Days pass,

Months consume,

Winter freezes,

Spring blooms,

Summer heats,

Autum cools...

age creeps upon you.

18 years... God, where'd they go?

Passing me by..

Times remembered, spent on the fly.

Camping trips, car rides, dinners, and reading,

Summer days lazed away, cuts that kept bleeding.

Movers breaking, family dwindling, hospital visits, funeral home.

18 years, all past by...

Years that left me behind, alone.

Aunt, Grandma, Friend, Grandpa...

passed away over time.

Pets changed, rooms changed, I changed...

Life's unending circle.

Dreaming, dreaming,

dreaming of a place beyond this one.

Dreaming, dreaming,

dreaming of a life beyond this one.

Where will, I find,

such a place?

Looking, behind...

the small door besides the fireplace.

Lost in a tangled web of madness and crime,

wishing for escape back to the world I'd left behind...

Dreaming, Dreaming....

dreaming of escape from this place.

Dreaming, dreaming...

dreaming of parents who's faces are lost.

Here, here...

here lie only shattered dreams.

Dreaming, waking,

dreaming means nothing when there's no waking.

Lost, lost,

lost behind the mirror in the dark behind the glass.

Curiosity, curiosity...

curiosity killed the cat, and that's a fact.

Dreaming, waking,

waking from this dream....

Blood stains my hands,

rage courses through,

murders I have made.

Blood stains my clothes,

murder follows me,

eyes dark with evil fire.

Blood runs down,

from amber eyes,

teeth flash in an evil grin.

Blood stain my knife,

cutting so deep,

freeing life from within.

And yet... and yet...

you hold me close,

you hold my hand,

you touch my bloody cheek...

you kiss my bloody cheek....

" I love you, I love you"..

Dark love, but love, all the same.

Blood love, but love all the same.

Damned love, but love all the same.

3 am, the clock chimes,

3 am , my soul dies,

3 am, all is lost,

3 am ,to the wint'ry frost.

3 am ,the dark confines,

3 am , hiding in line,

3 am ,closet lights,

3 am , ignite the night

3 am, as shadows lurk,

3 am ,my soul goes berserk.

3 am, I'm going insane,

3 am controls my brain.

3 am , sleepless...

3 am, dreamless...

3 am, cold...

3 am, alone....

Fire consumes my soul,

Licking at my heart every moment we're apart.

I burn in a pillar,

Consumed by my desire.

Touch my skin,

you'll blacken and stick,

but you'll die smiling.

As the fire consumes.

Memory sealed, lost amid ice,

frozen, gone,

forgotten.

Resurrected, I yearn for purpose,

finding none,

invisible to all.

Snow mizer, moongazer,

many names I've had,

one thing still remains:

My name is Jack Frost,

as the moon told me,

long ago .

Icicle, snow drift, cold wintery wind,

these are the things I call kin.

Whenever you feel a draft,

or a cold kiss on your nose,

think of me,

know i'm there,

and believe.

In summer, when it's blazing hot, I'll tell you what I mean, beneath the silver oak trees, where Elderberries gleam.

In spring, when the daises bloom, gold and yellow in the fields, I give you a daffodill, and explain it's many moods.

In fall, when the leaves come down, red, orange, black, I'll catch you a wild horse, and teach you to ride bareback

In winter, when the snows are here, and the trees stand dead and gone, I hold you close, kiss your nose,

and then I'll be gone.

In the winter, trees doth die,

snows pile up,

windows frost,

widows cry,

children sing,

awaiting spring,

and you and I shall die.

Ice skating, such a joy,

skates your favourite toy.

One wrong step on too thin ice,

and we both pay the price,

sinking into the icy waters below.

beneath the elm tree, we proclaimed our love,

beneath the elm tree, we said goodbye,

beneath the elm tree, where we both shall lie,

resting in peace side~by~side,

after the day we die.

I'll be there, to hold your hand,

the toughest times,

i'll be there,

I'll be with you,

i'll be there,

Just you see.

winter, summer, fall, spring,

I'll be there, as our love lets ring,

over hill and field,

i'll be there,

to catch your dreams,

to hold you close,

I'll be with you,

don't lose faith.

Here's Melanie singing, to help you visualize the " caged bird ' motiff

http://youtu.be/aZAkMvFGO0w

Sing, angel, sing,

a caged bird, forever denied freedom,

Sing . angel, sing,

your fate is thine own undoing.

Search, angel, search,

for your one true love,

taken from above,

a rope snapped,

a neck cracked....

Search, angel, search.

Cry, angel ,cry,

for days gone by,

love that dies,

hopes that fly...

cry, angel, cry.

Wait, angel, wait,

in the cold hard grip of fate,

waiting for love never to be found,

seeking closure of a love unfound...

wait, angel, wait.

Sing, angel, sing,

sing in your cage, you'll never be free,

your agony pleases me.

in these halls, where ghostly balls,

occur nightly,

wander forever,

light as a feather,

you can't hide from me.

Die, angel, die,

after years long gone by,

you join us in harmony,

the souless death of agony,

searching forever,

for a lost treasure,

of a love so true and bold.

But now, o now, your dead and gone,

forever mine, here,

in the cold.

Does he see me, does he know?

Does he know i love him so?

Does he know the lonely hours, spent picking endless flowers,

playing ' does he love me, yes or no"?

This Christmas, this holiday,

means so much to him...

I don't understand,

it scares me....

What's happened to him?

Does he notice, does he see,

how much he means to me?

will our love,

grow tall and strong,

or die in the lonely fog?

This I ask, but I can not tell...

Voices in the night,

dancing on the wind,

secrets they foretell,

speaking of hidden sins.

Lost boys, crying out,

palm trees whipping in the wind,

a old house moans and groans,

each speaking of hidden sins.

Drifting clearly across the breeze,

far across the sixty seas,

lightly dancing prettily....

Yet speaking of evil sins.

Why do you, so needlessly, hide from me,

my beloved?

I look everywhere,

never finding you....

My heart, is breaking....

why, why, why....

What did i do?

My love, where are you?

Won't you come back to me?

Heark, hear the bells, sweet silver bells, all seem to say, throw cares away,

ringing so clear, Christmas is here, merry, merry Christmas, merry, merry Christmas.

Heark hear the bells, dark tarnished bells, all seems to say, beware the sleigh,

full of terrors and screams, ringing so clear, all children hear, Christmas is here,

merry. merry Christmas, merry, merry Christmas.

Heark hear the bells, red soaked bells, all seem to say, death is on its way,

cringe from the sounds on the roof, silver bell and reindeer hoof, echoing so clear,

Christmas is here, merry, merry Christmas, merry, merry Christmas.

Heark hear the bells, black funeral bells, all seem to say, life stolen away,

taken from beneath the tree, by an intruder pretending to be so jolly, souless eyes so clear,

Christmas is here, merry, merry, Christmas, merry, merry Christmas.

Dark Holidays

The snow falls gently, the fire burns tightly, the tree is trimmed, the house aglow,

Christmas time is here.

Carols ring through the air, from singers all aglow,

From out every door way, is hung the mistletoe.

Dancers prance through silver dreams,

as silver bells echo in children's dreams,

peacefully sleeping the night away,

hope of the morning keeping fears at bay.

Beneath the tree, so gaily wrapped,

presents sleep, ready for the morn,

when children full of sleep's last scorn,

awaken in joy, giving a shout,

it's Christmas time.

Hoist the love, prepare the joy,

the season of giving is at hand.

With love in our hearts, a smile on our lips,

we give each other our beloved gifts,

as the joy of that silver morn,

fills us all...

It's Christmas time.

When you feel all alone, and the cold winds surround you,

when your hope are all gone, and life tries to ground you...

I'll be there, to hold your hand, i'll be there, to see you through.

Though the darkness binds us, we'll make it to light,

just take my hand, and hold it tight.

No matter what happens we'll see the dawn,

No matter what happens, I'll be there...

till your fears are gone.

When life is a nightmare, things crashing down, when nothing is working, don't dare wear a frown,

just think and remember, I tell you the truth, no matter what happens...

I'll be there for you.

Forever and always, just call out my name,

don't ever cry, don't let tears fall like rain.

Through sorrow and gladness, fears and pain,

no matter what happens..

I'll be there once again.

You don't know me, though you pretend to.

You don't know me, my secrets are mine.

You don't know me, though you think you do.

You don't know me, nothing I've said is true.

You don't know me, my house, my job.

You don't know me, only a phantom,

cloaked in the shadows of lies.

We wish you a scary Christmas, with bats and spiders galore.

We wish you a scary, scary Christmas, with lots of blood on the floor.

Ghosts arrive to dance beneath the blackened Christmas tree,

screams echo through the night, cries of unearthly glee.

Jolly dear old Santa Claus, did land his sleigh,

vampire attacked him then, and hauled the corpse away.

We wish you a scary Christmas, with lots of nightmares oooo

We wish you a scary, scary Christmas, and a haunted New year too!
