Posted

I am starting my KH13 Cutscenes and Boss Battles Hard Drive soon.

So i was wondering what you guys is think is better for making GMVs Jap or English?

This will be helpful for me and any other users in the future that want this question answered.

This isn't about KH13, it is a discussion about making GMVs. So, I am moving this to video.

Personally I feel as if the Japanese clips work better, as if you use English clips, and there are English subtitles, they may distract the viewer from the song lyrics.

what DC said, jap for amv making

Like what has been said, if you use a gmv without speaking, Japanese subs is the way to go. But, if you're still getting the hang of using text in videos as emphasis, then you can go with English subs, but, in my opinion, it still looks better without them.

And though unlikely, if you post a video on a site targeted for Japanese speakers, then use English so as not to distract them.

Does that make sense?
