How do you get the dang Dream Eaters to NOT just stand there looking ( cute ) stupid during combat? 

Anyone got some suggestions? 'Cause I'm getting my butt whooped, and all the Meow Wow-thingy wants to do is jump up and down and chitter. Cute... but useless in battle.

Be useless? Meow Wow making me go " Awwww.." When I first saw it doesn't excuse getting my butt whooped in combat 'cause it's ten feet away jumping up and down.
