-Some background info- Dick Grayson was the original Robin. Before joining Batman, he was part of the Flying Graysons, with the rest of his family. However, they were killed by Tony Zucco. Batman told him this, and remembers how his own parents were murdered. Dick asks to become his aide. After extensive training, Dick becomes Robin. Eventually, Dick Grayson left Batman, mostly because he was too busy being the leader of the Teen Titans, and became known as Nightwing.
Jason Todd was the second Robin. He was discovered trying to steal the tires of the Batmobile. His mother had died from Drug Overdose, and his father was working as muscle for Two-Face. Batman put him into a school for trouble youngin's, (which was fake) and later helped Batman capture some thieves, and earns the Title "Robin." Jason Todd was eventually murdered by the Joker, however, he comes back later, to be known as Red Hood.
