In Japan's feudal era, noble families often had retainers. Other families of lower rank, solely devoted to serving their masters. Today, such family ties remain, though often less formal, or otherwise forgotten. But one girl in particular will meet her retainer for the first time, and it'll turn her life upside down.

"I appreciate the concern, but the worry belongs to me." Sasuke replied. "You live your life, and I make sure nothing stops that. Now get some rest, your condition will only get worse if you don't."

Akise nodded, laying her head down again. Silence filled the room, Akise was a little wary about Sasuke being in here...however she soon enough fell asleep.

(It happens)

 

Sasuke left and traveled across the hall to his own room. It appeared to be nothing in particular. He decided to keep it that way. Realizing he had nothing to change in to, he lay down in what he was already wearing. He awoke very early the next morning and jogged several kilometers to his last Sohma residence to obtain his belongings, and return to the Motoyo estate before anyone had awaken. Sasuke caught up on about a half hour of sleep before getting back and heading downstairs to prepare Akise's schoolbooks for her.

Akise woke up, trying her hair up before opening the door to her room, she began walking down the hall, and downstairs to see Sasuke.

"Good Morning Sasuke." She stated, sitting down at the table in the kitchen.

"I command you to fix me breakfast because I'm hungry." She snapped.

"Right away!" Sasuke set aside his and Akise's book bags and entered into the kitchen.

'Will eggs do?" He asked. "If so, how prepared?"

"I hate eggs." Akise stated.

"Waffles are good though." She said with a small smile.

"With syrup. No butter." Akise said, looking at Sasuke.

 

(I do hate eggs. Not boiled ones though.)

(I can tolerate eggs)

 

"Righ, my apologies." It took Sasuke only a few moments to prepare the waffles for his mistress. He lay them out on a plate and weaves an intricate pattern of syrup. "Here you are." He said, placing the plate and the necessary utensils before Akise.

"You better eat too." Akise stated before beginning to eat herself.

She noticed Sasuke was taking care of her stuff for her, she smiled slightly, looking at him for a second.

"Already taken care of." Sasuke replied. It took some effort not to call her ma'am. This lack of respect he was forced to carry for his mistress was something he hadn't foreseen. There bags were soon prepared and Sasuke waited patiently for Akise to finish eating.

Akise rather quickly finished eating, going upstairs to get dressed. The school uniform was like any other, nothing special. She kept her hair down, brushing it really good before going downstairs, sliding on her shoes and facing Sasuke.

"I'm ready." she said seriously.

"Then we shall depart." Sasuke opened the door for her.

 

(Shorty... Deal with it.)

Akise stepped through the door.

"You'll get your uniform when we get there." She stated as the two began walking.

"Hm. I was curious as to how that'd work out." Sasuke replied.

He checked his watch. "We're right on schedule. That's nice."

"Almost too on time..." Akise muttered.

There were close too the school, almost too close.

"By the way Sasuke, I'm fallowing you around until it's time to go to our classes." She said with a smirk.

Too on time? Sasuke thought to himself.

"I hope you're aware that it's more or less my job to follow you, Akise." He told her.

"Though I will be asking for some privacy when I receive my uniform."

"Fiiinnnneeee...." Akise sighed about all Sasuke had said.

"We'll have to go to the office first. You're my age so you'll have classes similar to me. If we get lucky, you'll have some of the classes I have." She said seriously.

Sasuke silently cursed at himself. He failed to study the layout of the school thoroughly enough.

He cleared his throat. They had reached the school. "So where exactly us our destination?"

Akise grabbed Sasuke's hand, "Fallow me then".

She began dragging him into the school building and straight into the office which was on the left side of the entrance.

"Tell them who you are and stuff...." She muttered.

After Sasuke grave the staff member's his information and received his uniform, he quickly left to change before Akise could barely even notice. He then received his schedule. Sasuke skimmed it over. He just about almost knew where everything was. He looked up to Akise. "Shall we be off?"

"That was fast..." she muttered.

"Yes. Let's go." Akise said.

"I usually go to the roof on nice days like today..." she said as the two started walking down the hall.

"We'll definitely have to visit there today." Sasuke replied. "Though we should be getting to class, come on." Sasuke escorted his mistress out of the offices, as he turned out the door, he bumped into a girl, causing her to fall back and drop her books. Sasuke was mostly unfazed by the impact.

 

(Neko-chan, do something with this girl... I don't know what her reaction should be)

"What was that for?!! You didn't even say anything! Talk about RUDE! And who is that, YOUR GIRLFRIEND or something? Akise is always alone and doesn't diserve any boyfriend. She seems to not care about anything or anyone." the girl yelled.

Akise stopped in her tracks, turning to the girl.

"Stop yelling at Sasuke!" she snapped.

"OH REALLY? What are you going to do about it? You know you can't do anything." the girl snapped.

But I can. Sasuke picked up the girl's books, placed them back in her arms and directed her back on her way.

"Never address her like that." He whispered to her seriously. There was a threatening tone in Sasuke's voice.

"Or you'll be dealing with me again. And it won't be an accident."

"Whatever..." The girl sighed before storming off.

Akise sighed, looking at Sasuke.

"I have to deal with people like that all the time..." She muttered.

She barely glimpsed at his classes before smiling a bit.

"But you have almost all my classes. Lucky me. Did you request them or something?" Akise asked.

"I did nothing of the sort." Sasuke replied.

"Let's get moving, where going to be late."
