In Japan's feudal era, noble families often had retainers. Other families of lower rank, solely devoted to serving their masters. Today, such family ties remain, though often less formal, or otherwise forgotten. But one girl in particular will meet her retainer for the first time, and it'll turn her life upside down.

"Well okay then..." Yuichi muttered.

 

"We're better of without them." Mei chimed.

"I get the feeling that Mei really doesn't like us." Sasuke said as he was dragged outside. He relinquished himself from her grip and adjusted his grip on their bags. "Are we heading straight home?" He asked. "Or would you like to stop somewhere."

"Mei hates me...and now that you are here only makes it worse. It's not your fault or anything....." Akise said seriously.

She hen looked to Sasuke.

"We're going straight home. There is food there." She said with a small smile.

Sasuke smirked. Some women are pleased by the simplest of things.

"We should hurry then. We don't want your stomach to eat itself."

Sasuke became quiet. It wasn't like him to have much of a sense of humor. Hm... One day in the business was already beginning to change him...

"Then come on!" Akise said with a smirk.

"Let's make it a race then!!" She exclaimed, breaking into a run.

Sasuke rolled his eyes before giving chase to his mistress. She had gotten a head start, but as far as he could tell, Sasuke was much more physically capable. It did, however, take him some time to catch up. Out of the corner of his eye, Sasuke saw a small truck speeding down the street. It's blinker signaled that it was turning toward them, but the momentum of the vehicle said otherwise. "Akise!" Sasuke sprung forward, grabbing the young girl's arm and pulling her back as the truck turned violently and skidded off the road and rolling over the area of sidewalk Akise would have been running on.

Akise was imminently startled as Sasuke pulled her back, she stay still for a bit before turning to Sasuke. She looked frightened, and was.

"Thank you.....Sasuke..." She said before imminently hugging him.

Sasuke was slightly taken aback. It seemed obscene to be this physically close to his mistress. He hesitantly placed. Comforting hand on top of her head. "It's alright Akise. I'm here so that things like that don't happen." Sasuke couldn't help but feel guilty though, he had unintentionally instigated her haste.

Akise looked up at Sasuke.

"Something wrong?" she asked.

"I command you to let me do this too you." Akise snapped immediately after. 

"Nothing's wrong." He said. His face had gone ever-so-slightly redder. He cleared his throat. "Let's get you home, Akise." The small truck that had nearly taken Akise's life had driven away. The dastard. Sasuke cursed silently.

Akise nodded and the two started off towards her home. They soon arrived at her house within ten minuets. Akise walked upstairs to get changed out of her school uniform. Simply changing into some black skinny jeans, a white long-sleeved shirt that was slightly too big for her, and a pale pink sweater-like hoodie that is rather too big for her. She walked down stairs and presented herself to Sasuke.

"I would change out of your school uniform too." she said with a smile. 

"Right." Sasuke replied. "If you'll excuse me." Sasuke climbed the stairs and removed his uniform, changing into a pair of worn jeans and a gray button down shirt. He hung his uniform in his closet before returning downstairs. "Your father doesn't seem to be anywhere." He mentioned.

"He's probably in his room...." Akise said before starting to walk towards the door to his room which was downstairs.

She knocked before entering. Her father stood right there at the door, Akise backing up and her father coming into the main room. He looked rather upset. Her father took a deep breath before speaking.

"Akise. As you knows, me and your mother work very hard to have money for you....however something has come up......your mother....was killed in a wreck this morning...." He said the last part sadly before turning straight around and going back into his room.

He was very upset, and Akise.....Akise froze. Her eyes widen and she stared at the door to her fathers room. After a couple of seconds, she dashed out of the house.

"Akise?!" Sasuke could only watch as his mistress ran off. He glances toward Mr. Motoyo. He turned fully and bowed. "Excuse me, my lord!" He turned and followed Akise outside. "Crap, where did she go." He looked around. "Akise!" He growled before turning and running down the path to the shrine. It was the only place he could think to check.

(What's that anime........that anime...........that anime.........uuuuuuuummmmmm....................GOSICK!!! It had a scene like this and is was so sad ;~; )

 

Hearing Sasuke as Akise started dashing up the stairs to the shrine, Akise tripped, falling straight over.

"Ouch...." She muttered within her crying that started imminently after she ran out the door.

She slowly stood up before managing to get up the stairs. She couldn't let Sasuke see her like this. Akise observed the area, a forest was on both sides, both going down-hill. She ran as fast as an injured person could to the forest and down the hill.

"AKISEEEEE!" Sasuke shouted. "Where are you..." He didn't expect her to hear that second part. He sighed and sprinted up the stairs, nearly stumbling, but reaching the top unscathed. "You better be okay." Sasuke took the path that led behind the shrine where he had taken her that first day. The forest was full of unstable and terrain and bears. Hopefully she was aware of that. Sasuke emerged behind the shrine with no trace of Akise. "Crap!" He turned and began running down through the woods. Akise!"

Akise nearly tripped a second time, but made it finally down out if the forest. She imminently stopped herself when she reached the road. It wasn't that long of a way down from the top of the shrine to the road. She only walked now, putting on her hood. Akise walked towards no given place, she didn't know where she was going.

A bear burst out of the trees and roared at Sasuke. "I don't have time for you!" He snapped, ripping off a thick branch and clubbing the bear in the side of the head. This only aggravated the beast but did give Sasuke enough time to go around it and break away. The gear unfortunately made chase. Sasuke made a sharp turn between two trees hoping to lose it. It looked like he did until he tripped and fell down out of the woods and skidded onto the side of the road. "Crap... That hurt..." He thought he saw Akise's blurry silhouette but he couldn't keep his eyes open long enough. "Akise..."

(NUUUU SASUKE)

 

Akise slowly turned to Sasuke.

"Sasuke..." She muttered.

What was she going to do...? She couldn't just leave him there.

"Sasuke...." She said a bit louder.

She ran over to his side.

"Sasuke...!"'

Sasuke's eyes slowly opened. "Akise?" He slowly reached for her hand. "Don't run Akise." He said slowly, barely audible. "I know it's hard to lose someone you love. I really do. That's why can't run. I don't want to lose you too, Akise. I love you..." With that, Sasuke fell unconscious from his wounds.

"Sasuke!" Akise yelled.

Akise's face reddened when she realized what he said exactly.

'If he DOES love me.....then I should return the favor....I...I love Sasuke too. He's been so nice to me, he's nice too. Even if I am bossing him around 24/7.' she thought.

She crook a deep breath before standing up straight. She winced a bit because of her leg being hurt. Akise looked down. How the hell was she going to get Sasuke to her house.

(Time for the shortest roleplay post ever)

 

Sasuke's phone buzzed inside of his pocket.

(I've seen shorter)

 

Akise kept back as soon as she heard Sasuke's phone buzz.

"Sasuke has a phone?" She asked herself quietly.

She did it quickly, but she got Sasuke's phone.

'Im never doing that again' she thought, opening the phone up.

"H-hello?" She asked

sorry for putting Akise through that. Didn't fully think things through

 

"Either my little brother's going through puberty again or some girl has his phone. Both seem highly unlikely. Who is this?" The voice on the other end of the phone was a woman's.

"I am Akise Motoyo. I'm Sasuke's Master...and you just be his older brother. I haven't heard anything about you though..." Akise said seriously, however she sounded upset.

"Sasuke is hurt an unconscious and I don't know what to do...." She said, obviously worried.

"Would you possibly help us out. We are near the shrine....if you know where that is..."

"Sister!" The woman on the other end coughed. "Anyway. Master? Oh, right, you said Motoyo. Akise Motoyo... I'm Ayano. So Sasuke's hurt?" She didn't sound the least bit concerned. "I'll be right there. Shrine as in the place he went where he was little, right?"
