We all know who he resembles, but I've actually seen multiple characters in other series that have designs similar to Sephiroth. And I'm pretty sure Sehpiroth wasn't the first man ever to have that hair style either.

I believe that it is fair to say that Sephiroth is the most recognizable fictional character with the hair style, though.

Sephiroth, but the face structure makes me think of Xemnas.

Certainly does. Not the first time though, when my brother was watching Beyblade, there was a kid who for some reason reminded me of Sephiroth. (Looked like his younger counterpart)
