Trying to use a computer keyboad to learn how to compose piano arangements for my Youtube channle

Posted

Okay, so I went looking for a program to learn to use to play the Piano(Since I can't afford a good one and the one at my house is old and badly tuned/damaged)and I found a program I like, but I'm not sure how to record the audio in a way that would allow me to use another program to listen to it and subsequently put it into WMM so I can post it on Youtube, but I;m not sure how to.

Details:

The program is literally called "freepiano"

The file save type is .fpm

If you have stereo mix enabled, you could use a sound recorder like Audacity or something and let it record while playing back the song.

I have Audacity, but the issue is that I don't know how to get the audio to transfer into it.

Well if you have stereo mix enabled (or some alternate that lets you capture the sound directly on your computer as opposed to through an external source like a mic) as a recording option, all you have to do is change where you want the sound recorded from to stereo mix and hit "record" while playing back the song manually or however the piano program works.

If you don't have it enabled, I don't really know an alternate other than to look up a way to enable it on Google or something.

I'll look up stuff on Stereo Mix now, thanks.
