As of yet, no side has the upper hand. But legend says that a time will come where a warrior with a strange mark on the back of his right hand will lead one of these nations to victory against the other. Now, a small border skirmish between the two nations is about to commence. What neither side knows, however, is that this battle will mark the beginning of the old legend coming true, setting many of their soldiers on the path of becoming legends in the making.

Make sure to interact with other people, even if you don't know them. No one likes to be left alone and ignored in an RP.
Please put “Legend” at the end of your signup sheet to prove that you’ve read this.
Please feel free to have your character make unique and interesting decisions; it makes the RP more fun.
Throughout the course of the RP, I will control many different characters, from here on out called NCP’s If you leave the RP, all of your remaining characters become NCP’s, which means that I control them. If you want to take control one of the NCP’s, please PM me asking me for permission.
When you start the RP, your character will have little at their disposal. However, as the story progresses, your character will gain significant power. The kinds of equipment, magic, and gear you’ll be able to acquire will be based off of the two skills and the element you give your character. The available skills and elements are listed below.
Skills
You will not be able to change your characters skill later in the game. Choose wisely.
Strength: Improves your characters strength. Allows them to wield either a sword or ax at the beginning of the RP.
Speed: Improves your characters speed. Allows them to wield either a sword or spear at the beginning of the RP.
Defense: Improves your characters defense. Allows them to wield either an ax or spear at the beginning of the RP.
Range: Grants your character great skill in ranged weaponry. Allows them to wield a bow at the beginning of the RP.
Stealth: Grants your character great skill in stealth. Allows them to wield a knife and smoke bombs at the beginning of the RP.
Attack Magic: Grants your character the use of offensive magic. Allows them to cast small energy bolts at the beginning of the RP.
Defense Magic: Grants your character the use of defensive magic. Allows them to cast cure, which can heal minor wounds, at the beginning of the RP.
Balanced Magic: Grants your character the use a little bit of both offensive and defensive magic. Allows them to cast small energy bolts at the beginning of the RP.
Diplomacy: Increases the odds of NCP’s listening to and helping your character.
Friendship: Increases the odds of NCP’s becoming friends with your character. Won’t affect as many people as the Diplomacy skill would, but causes stronger bonds to be made
Shape shifting: Grants your character the power to shape shift into various animals and monsters later in the game, as well as use some basic weapons. Counts as both skill #1 and #2. Allows them to weild either a sword, ax, or spear at the beginning of the RP.
Element
Elements allow your character to use elemental powers later in the game. You can’t change this later in the game either, so choose wisely.
